य इ॑न्द्राग्नी चि॒त्रत॑मो॒ रथो॑ वाम॒भि विश्वा॑नि॒ भुव॑नानि॒ चष्टे॑ । तेना या॑तं स॒रथं॑ तस्थि॒वांसाथा॒ सोम॑स्य पिबतं सु॒तस्य॑ ॥
यः । इ॒न्द्रा॒ग्नी॒ इति॑ । चि॒त्रऽत॑मः । रथः॑ । वा॒म् । अ॒भि । विश्वा॑नि । भुव॑नानि । चष्टे॑ । तेन॑ । आ । या॒त॒म् । स॒ऽरथ॑म् । त॒स्थि॒वांसा॑ । अथ॑ । सोम॑स्य । पि॒ब॒त॒म् । सु॒तस्य॑ ॥
हे इन्द्राग्नी चित्रतमः अतिशयेन चायनीयः वां युवयोः संबन्धी यः रथः विश्वानि भुवनानि भूतजातानि' अभि चष्टे आभिमुख्येन पश्यति । सुवर्णमयत्वात् रत्नखचितत्वाच्च स्वप्रभाभिः कृत्स्नं जगद्भासयतीत्यर्थः । तेन रथेन आ यातम् अस्मद्यज्ञमागच्छतम् । तत्किं पर्यायेण । नेत्याह । सरथं समानमेकं रथं तस्थिवांसा युगपदेव आस्थितवन्तौ युवामागच्छतं न पर्यायेणेत्यर्थः। अथ आगमनानन्तरं सुतस्य ऋत्विग्भिरभिषुतं सोमस्य सोमं स्वांशलक्षणं तदेकदेशं वा पिबतम् ॥ वाम् । “ युष्मदस्मदोः षष्ठीचतुर्थी० ' ( पा. सू. ८. १. २०) इत्यादिना षष्ठीद्विवचनस्य वामादेशः । सर्वानुदात्तत्वम् । चष्टे ।' चक्षिङ् व्यक्तायां वाचि'। अत्र प्रकाशनार्थः । अदादित्वात् शपो लुक् । ‘ स्कोः संयोगाद्योः' इति कलोपः । ‘ तास्यनुदात्तेत्' इति लसार्वधातुकानुदात्तत्वे धातुस्वरः शिष्यते । यद्वृत्तान्नित्यम्' इति निघातप्रतिषेधः। सरथम् । समानश्चासौ रथश्च सरथः । ‘ समानस्य च्छन्दसि°' इति सभावः। ‘परादिश्छन्दसि बहुलम्' इत्युत्तरपदाद्युदात्तत्वम्। तस्थिवांसा । ‘ ष्ठा गतिनिवृत्तौ । लिटः क्वसुः । द्विर्वचनम् ।‘शर्पूर्वाः खयः'। ‘वस्वेकाजाद्धसाम्' इति इडागमः । ‘ आतो लोप इटि च ' इति आकारलोपः। सुपां सुलुक्' इति आकारः। सोमस्य । ‘ क्रियाग्रहणं कर्तव्यम्' इति कर्मणः संप्रदानत्वात् चतुर्थ्यर्थे षष्ठी ॥
“Indra and Agni, sitting together in your car, that wonderful car which illuminates all beings, approach and drink of the effused Soma.”
ON that most wondrous car of yours, O Indra and Agni, which looks round on all things living,
Take ye your stand and come to us together, and drink libations of the flowing Soma.
O Indra and Agni, the brightest chariot of yours, which looks upon all creatures,
with that one drive here, standing together on the same chariot. Then drink of the pressed soma.
Mit eurem hellsten Wagen, Indra-Agni, der auf die Wesen allesammt herabschaut, Mit dem kommt her, auf gleichem Wagen fahrend, und trinket dann vom ausgepressten Soma.
Euer wunderbarster Wagen, Indra und Agni, der alle Welten besieht, auf dem fahret beisammen stehend her und trinkt von dem gepreßten Soma!
Ваша самая замечательная колесница, о Индра и Агни,
Которая взирает на все существа, –
Приезжайте на ней, поднявшись вместе на колесницу,

याव॑त् । इद॒म् । भुव॑नम् । विश्व॑म् । अ॒स्ति॒ । उ॒रु॒ऽव्यचा॑ । व॒रि॒मता॑ । ग॒भी॒रम् । तावा॑न् । अ॒यम् । पात॑वे । सोमः॑ । अ॒स्तु॒ । अर॑म् । इ॒न्द्रा॒ग्नी॒ इति॑ । मन॑से । यु॒वऽभ्या॑म् ॥
विश्वं सर्वम् इदं भुवनं जगत् यावत् अस्ति यावत्प्रमाणं भवति । कीदृशम् । उरुव्यचा विस्तीर्णव्यापनम् । सर्वव्यापकमित्यर्थः । तथा वरिमता वरिम्णा उरत्वेनात्मीयेन गौरवेण गभीरं गाम्भीर्योपेतम् । हे इन्द्राग्नी पातवे युवाभ्यां पातुं सोमः तावान् अस्तु तावत्प्रमाणो भवतु। तथा मनसे युवयोरन्तःकरणाय अरं स सोमः पर्याप्तो भवतु ॥ उरुव्यचा ।' व्यच व्याजीकरणे'। असुन्। ‘ व्यचेः कुटादित्वमनसि ' इति वचनात् ङित्त्वाभावेन संप्रसारणाभावः । ‘ स्वमोर्नपुंसकात्' (पा. सू. ७. १. २३) इति सोर्लुकि प्राप्ते ‘सुपां सुलक्' इति व्यत्ययेन डादेशः । वरिमता। 'पृथ्वादिभ्य इमनिज्वा' इति उरुशब्दात् तस्य भावः इत्यर्थे इमनिच् । ‘प्रियस्थिर' इत्यादिना उरुशब्दस्य वरादेशः । पुनरपि भावप्रत्ययोत्पत्तिश्छान्दसी । सुपां सुलुक्' इति तृतीयाया लुक् । यद्वा । तृतीयायाश्छान्दसः तुडागमः । तावान् । तत्परिमाणमस्य । ‘ यत्तदेतेभ्यः परिमाणे वतुप् ' ( पा. सू. ५. २. ३९ )। ‘ आ सर्वनाम्नः' इति आत्वम् । पातवे । पा पाने'। तुमर्थे सेसेन्” इति तवेन्प्रत्ययः । नित्त्वादाद्युदात्तत्वम् । अरम् । ‘ वालमूललध्वलमङ्गुलीनां वा लो रमापद्यत इति वक्तव्यम् ' ( पा. म. ८. २. १८) इति लत्वविकल्पः । युवभ्याम् । व्यत्ययेन आत्वाभावे ‘ शेष लोपः' इति दकारलोपः ॥
“Vast as is the whole universe in expanse, and profound indepth, such, Indra and Agni, may this Soma be for you, sufficient for your desires.”
As vast as all this world is in its compass, deep as it is, with its far-stretching surface,
So let this Soma be, Indra and Agni, made for your drinking till your soul be sated.
As great as this whole creation here is, deep and wide-spreading in its expanse,
so great let this soma here be, for drinking—enough for you two, to your thinking, o Indra and Agni.
Wie weit dies ganze Weltall sich erstrecket, wie tief, wie gross an umfangsreicher Breite, So weit sei hier der Soma euch zum Trinken, für eure Lust bereit, o Indra-Agni.
So groß diese ganze Welt ist, die weiträumige an Weite, unergründliche, so groß soll dieser Soma zum Trinken sein, euch beiden recht nach dem Sinn, Indra und Agni!

Со своим широким простором, глубокий,
Таков пусть будет этот сома для питья,
Как раз по вашему духу, о Индра и Агни!

हे इन्द्राग्नी भद्रं कल्याणं नाम स्वकीयं नामधेयं 'सध्र्यक् सहगतमिन्द्राग्नी इत्येवं संयुक्तं चक्राथे युवां कृतवन्तौ । उत अपि च हे वृत्रहणौ वृत्रस्यासुरस्य हन्ताराविन्द्राग्नी सध्रीचीना सहाञ्चन्तौ वृत्रवधार्थं संगतौ स्थः भवथः । हि यस्मादेवं तस्मात् हे वृषणा कामानां वर्षिताराविन्द्राग्नी तौ युवां सध्र्यञ्चौ सहितावेव सन्तौ निषद्य वेद्यामुपविश्य वृष्णः सेक्तुः सोमस्य आत्मीयं भागम् आ वृषेथां स्वकीये उदरे आसिञ्चेथाम् ॥ सध्र्यक् । सहशब्दोपपदादञ्चतेः ‘ऋत्विक्' इत्यादिना क्विन् । 'अनिदिताम्' इति नलोपः। ‘सहस्य सध्रिः । ‘ अद्रिसध्र्योरन्तोदात्तनिपातनं कृत्स्वरनिवृत्त्यर्थम् ' ( पा. सू. ६. ३. ९५. १ ) इति वचनात् सध्र्यादेशोऽन्तोदात्तः । यणादेशे ‘उदात्तस्वरितयोर्यणः' इति स्वरितत्वम् । सध्रीचीना। विभाषाञ्चेरदिक्स्त्रियाम्' इति स्वाथै खः । ‘ सुपां सुलुक्' इति विभक्तेः आजादेशः । वृत्रहणौ । संहितायाम् आवादेशे ‘ लोपः शाकल्यस्य ' इति वलोपः । वृषेथाम् । वृष सेचने'। व्यत्ययेन शः आत्मनेपदं च ॥
“You have made your associated names renowned, since, slayers of Vṛtra, you have been allied (for his death); the showerers of benefits, Indra and Agni, are the two seated together (on the altar); receive (your portion) of the Soma libation.”
For ye have won a blessed name together: yea, with one aim ye strove, O Vrtra-slayers.
So Indra-Agni, seated here together, pour in, ye Mighty Ones, the mighty Soma.
For you two made your own joint name auspicious, and you two, o Vr̥tra-smashers, are conjoined.
O Indra and Agni, you bulls, having sat down jointly, drench yourselves in the bullish soma.
Ihr habt vereint ja eure hehren Namen und seid vereinigt, o ihr Vritratödter, Drum setzt vereint euch nieder, Indra-Agni, und schlürft, o Stiere, ein den Stier, den Soma.
Denn ihr habt euch vereint einen guten Namen gemacht und ihr seid vereint die Vritratöter. Laßt euch vereint nieder, Indra und Agni; ihr Bullen, schüttet in euch vom bullenstarken Soma!
Ведь с одной целью мы создали себе счастливое имя,
С одной целью вы стали оба убийцами Вритры.

सम्ऽइ॑द्धेषु । अ॒ग्निषु॑ । आ॒न॒जा॒ना । य॒तऽस्रु॑चा । ब॒र्हिः । ऊँ॒ इति॑ । ति॒स्ति॒रा॒णा । ती॒व्रैः । सोमैः॑ । परि॑ऽसिक्तेभिः । अ॒र्वाक् । आ । इ॒न्द्रा॒ग्नी॒ इति॑ । सौ॒म॒न॒साय॑ । या॒त॒म् ॥
अग्निषु गार्हपत्यादिषु अन्वाधानादिना समिद्धेषु सम्यगिद्धेषु दीप्तेषु सत्सु आनजाना हवींष्याज्येनाञ्जन्तौ यतस्रुचा तदनन्तरं यागार्थं गृहीतस्रुचौ बर्हिरु वेद्यां बर्हिरपि तिस्तिराणा आस्तीर्णं कृतवन्तौ अध्वर्युप्रतिप्रस्थातारौ एवंभूतावभूताम् । तथा सति हे इन्द्राग्नी तीव्रैः क्षिप्रं मदकरैः परिषिक्तेभिः परितः सर्वेषु ग्रहचमसादिष्वासिक्तैः सोमैः हेतुभूतैः अर्वाक् अस्मदभिमुखम् ॥ यातम् आगच्छतम् । किमर्थम् । सौमनसाय सौमनस्याय अस्माकमनुग्रहायेत्यर्थः ॥ आनजाना । ‘ अञ्जू व्यक्तिम्रक्षणगतिषु । लिटः कानच् । अनिदिताम्' इति नलोपः। द्विर्भावे ‘अत आदेः' इति अभ्यासस्य दीर्घः। तस्मान्नुड्द्विहलः' इति अद्विहलोऽपि व्यत्ययेन नुट् । तिस्तिराणा। स्तॄञ् आच्छादने । पूर्ववत् कानच् । ‘ ऋत इद्धातोः' इति इत्वम् । द्विर्वचने शर्पूर्वाः खयः' । सुपां सुलुक् ' इति सर्वत्र विभक्तेः आकारः । चित्त्वादन्तोदात्तत्वम् ॥
“The first being kindled the two (priests stand by) sprinkling the clarified butter from the ladles, which they raise, and spreading the sacred grass (upon the altar); therefore, Indra and Agni, come before us for our gratification, (attracted) by stimulating Soma sprinkled all round.”
Both stand adorned, when fires are duly kindled, spreading the sacred grass, with lifted ladles.
Drawn by strong Soma juice poured forth around us, come, Indra-Agni, and display your favour.
You two being anointed when the fires have been kindled, with your offering spoon extended, having strewn your own ritual grass,
with the sharp soma drinks poured about, drive in our direction to
(display) benevolence, o Indra and Agni.
Euch schmückend beide bei entflammten Feuern, euch werfend auf die Streu, aus Löffeln schlürfend, Durch starke, euch ergossne Somasäfte gelockt, kommt her zur Freude, Indra-Agni.
Bei entzündeten Feuern und dargebotenen Opferlöffel, während ihr das Barhis ausgebreitet habt, mit eingeschenktem scharfen Soma besalbt, kommet näher, Indra und Agni, um euer Wohlwollen zu zeigen!

С протянутыми ложками, расстелив жертвенную солому,

हे इन्द्राग्नी यानि वीर्याणि वृत्रवधादिरूपाणि चक्रथुः कृतवन्तौ युवां यानि च रूपाणि निरूप्यमाणानि गवाश्वादीनि भूतजातानि कृतवन्तौ । इन्द्राग्निभ्यां हि सर्वं जगत् सृज्यते । इन्द्रः सूर्यात्मना वृष्टिं सृजत्यग्निश्चाहुतिद्वारा वृष्टयुत्पादकः। वृष्टेः सकाशात् सर्वे प्राणिन उत्पद्यन्ते । उत अवि च यानि वृष्ण्यानि वृष्णि भवानि वृष्टिप्रदानादिरूपाणि कर्माणि कृतवन्तौ । तथा वां युवयोः संबन्धीनि प्रत्नानि चिरंतनानि शिवानि शोभनानि या यानि सख्या सखित्वानि सन्ति । तेभिः तैः सर्वैः सहितौ युवां सुतस्य सोमस्य अभिषुतं सोमं पिबतम् ॥ सख्या । सख्युर्भावः सख्यम् । ‘ सख्युर्यः' इति यप्रत्ययः । ‘ शेश्छन्दसि बहुलम्' इति शेर्लोपः । तेभिः । ‘ बहुलं छन्दसि' इति भिस ऐसभावः । ‘ सावेकाचः' इति प्राप्तस्य विभक्त्युदात्तत्वस्य ‘ न गोश्वन्साववर्ण ' इति प्रतिषेधः ॥ ॥ २६ ॥
“Whatever heroic exploits you ahve achieved whatever forms (you have created), whatever benefits (you have poured down), whatever ancient and fortunate friendships (you have contracted, come with them all), and drink of the effused Soma.”
The brave deeds ye have done, Indra and Agni, the forms ye have displayed and mighty exploits,
The ancient and auspicious bonds of friendship,--for sake of these drink of the flowing Soma.
O Indra and Agni, which manly deeds you two have done; which forms and bullish powers you have made your own;
which age-old propitious partnerships are yours—with these, drink of the pressed soma.
O Indra-Agni, welche Heldenthaten, gewalt'ge, schöne Werke ihr vollbracht habt, Welch alte, hehre Freunde euch geleiten, mit denen trinkt vom ausgepressten Soma.
Welche Heldentaten ihr getan habt, welche Gestalten und Kräfte ihr angenommen habt, Indra und Agni, was eure alte liebe Freundschaft ist, mit all diesen trinket vom gepreßten Soma!
(Те) героические подвиги, о Индра и Агни, что вы совершили,
Облики, что (вы принимали), а также силы мужества,

हे इन्द्राग्नी प्रथमं कर्मोपक्रमे एव वां युवां वृणानः संभजमानः यदब्रवं सोमेन प्रीणयिष्यामीति यदवोचं सत्यां यथार्थां तां श्रद्धां श्रद्धयादरातिशयेन कृतामुक्तिम् अभि अभिलक्ष्य आ हि यातम् आगच्छतमेव नोदासाथाम् । अथ आगमनानन्तरमभिषुतं सोमं पिबतम् । तथा सति असुरैः हविषां प्रक्षेपकैर्ऋत्विग्भिः अयं नः अस्माकं सोमः विहव्यः विशेषेण होतव्यो भवति इतरथा व्यर्थः स्यात् । तस्मादिन्द्राग्नी आगच्छतमित्यर्थः ॥ वृणानः । वृङ् संभक्तौ'। लटः शानच् । ‘ श्नाभ्यस्तयोरातः' इति आकारलोपः । असुरैः । ‘असु क्षेपणे'। असेरुरन् ' ( उ. सू. १. ४२ ) इति उरन्प्रत्ययः । विहव्यः । ‘हु दानादनयोः । अचो यत् । गुणः । ‘ धातोस्तन्निमित्तस्यैव इति अवादेशः । ‘ यतोऽनावः' इत्याद्युदात्तत्वम् । कृदुत्तरपदप्रकृतिस्वरत्वम् ॥
“Come and witness the sincere faith with which, selecting you two, I first promised (you the libation); drink of the effused libation, for the Soma is prepared by the priests.”
As first I said when choosing you, in battle we must contend with Asuras for this Soma.
So came ye unto this my true conviction, and drank libations of the flowing Soma.
Since I said first on choosing you two: “This soma here is to be invoked by us in competition with the (other human) lords,”
toward this confidence (of ours) (which has) come true—yes! drive here. Then drink of the pressed soma.
Wie ich zuerst auch sagte, euch erwählend: »Für Götter ist der Soma zu ergiessen«, So kommt denn her, des wahren Glaubens achtend und trinket nun vom ausgepressten Soma.
Da ich zuerst euch erwählend sprach: "Diesen Soma wollen wir den Asura´s streitig machen", für dieses aufrichtige Vertrauen kommet doch ja her und trinket vom gepreßten Soma!

यत् । इ॒न्द्रा॒ग्नी॒ इति॑ । मद॑थः । स्वे । दु॒रो॒णे । यत् । ब्र॒ह्मणि॑ । राज॑नि । वा॒ । य॒ज॒त्रा॒ । अतः॑ । परि॑ । वृ॒ष॒णौ॒ । आ । हि । या॒तम् । अथ॑ । सोम॑स्य । पि॒ब॒त॒म् । सु॒तस्य॑ ॥
यजत्रा यष्टव्यौ हे इन्द्राग्नी स्वे दुरोणे स्वकीये गृहे निवासस्थाने यत् यदि मदथः हृष्यथः । यत् यदि वा ब्रह्मणि ब्राह्मणे अन्यस्मिन्यजमाने हविः स्वीकरणायागत्य हृष्यथः। यदि वा राजनि क्षत्रिये युद्धे साहाय्यं कर्तुमागत्य हृष्यथः । अतः परि परितोऽस्मात् सर्वस्मात् स्थानात हे वृषणौ कामानां वर्षिताराविन्द्राग्नी आ यातं हि अगच्छतमेव । औदासीन्यं मा कार्ष्टम् । अन्यत् पूर्ववत् ॥ मदथः । ‘ मदी हर्षे '। व्यत्ययेन शप् । यजत्रा । अमिनक्षि' इत्यादिना यजतेः कर्मणि अत्रन् । ‘ सुपां सुलुक् ' इति विभक्तेः आकारः ॥
“If, adorable Indra and Agni, you have ever been delighted (withlibations) in your own dwelling, in tha tof a Brāhmaṇa, or in that of a prince, then, showerers of benefits, come hither from wherever you may be, and drink of the effused Soma libation.”
If in your dwelling, or with prince or Brahman, ye, Indra-Agni, Holy Ones, rejoice you,
Even from thence, ye mighty Lords, come hither, and drink libation of the flowing Soma.
When, o Indra and Agni, you are reaching exhilaration in your own dwelling, when at a brahmin’s or at a king’s, o you who deserve the
sacrifice,
from there, bulls—yes! drive here. Then drink of the pressed soma.

Wenn ihr, Indra und Agni, euch im eignen Hause gütlich tut, wenn bei einem Brahmanen oder König, ihr Opferwürdige, so kommet doch ja von dort her, ihr Bullen, und trinket vom gepreßten Soma!

अत्र यदुषु इत्यादीनि पञ्च मनुष्यनामानि । हे इन्द्राग्नी यत् यदि यदुषु नियतेषु परेषामहिंसकेषु मनुष्येषु स्थः भवथः वर्तेथे । यदि वा तुर्वशेषु हिंसकेषु मनुष्येषु वर्तेथे। यत् यदि वा द्रुह्युषु द्रोहं परेषामुपद्रवमिच्छत्सु मनुष्येषु वर्तेथे । यदि वा अनुषु प्राणत्सु सफलैः प्राणैर्युक्तेषु ज्ञातृष्वनुष्ठातृषु मनुष्येषु । अन्येषां हि प्राणा निष्फला ज्ञानहीनत्वादनुष्ठानाभावाच्च । तेषु यदि भवथः। तथा पुरुषु कामैः पूरयितव्येष्वन्येषु स्तोतृजनेषु यदि भवथः । अतः सर्वस्मात् स्थानात हे कामाभिवर्षकाविन्द्राग्नी आगच्छतम् । अनन्तरम्' अभिषुतं सोमं पिबतम् ॥ यदुषु । ‘यम उपरमे'। नियम्यन्ते इन्द्रियाण्येभिरिति यदवः । ‘यमेर्दुक् च' इति कुप्रत्ययो दुगागमश्च । अनुदात्तोपदेश' इत्यादिना अनुनासिकलोपः । तुर्वशेषु । तुर्वी हिंसार्थः । औणादिकः अशप्रत्ययः । द्रुह्युषु । ‘द्रुह जिघांसायाम्। संपदादिलक्षणो भावे क्विप्। द्रुहं परेषामिच्छन्ति। 'छन्दसि परेच्छायामपि' इति क्यच् । ‘क्याच्छन्दसि' इति उप्रत्ययः । अनुषु । ‘ अन प्राणने'। अणश्च ' ( उ. सू. १. ८) इति विधीयमान उप्रत्ययो बहुलवचनादस्मादपि भवति । नित्' इत्यनुवृत्तेराद्युदात्तत्वम् । पूरुषु ।' पूरी आप्यायने । पूर्यन्ते इति पूरवः । औणादिक उप्रत्ययः ॥
“If, Indra and Agni, you are amongst men who are in offensive, malevolent, or tyrannical, or those who live (to fulfil the duties of life), or those who receive the fruits (of good deeds), then, showerers of benefits, come hither from wherever you may be, and drink of the effused Soma libation.”
If with, the Yadus, Turvasas, ye sojourn, with Druhyus, Anus, Purus, Indra-Agni!
Even from thence, ye mighty Lords, come hither, and drink libations of the flowing Soma.
When, o Indra and Agni, you are among the Yadus, the Turvaśas, when among the Druhyus, the Anus, the Pūrus,
from there, bulls—yes! drive here. Then drink of the pressed soma.
Wenn, bei den Jadu's, Turvaça's ihr weilet, bei Druhju's, Anu's, Puru's, Indra-Agni, So kommt von da zu uns doch her, ihr Stiere, und trinket nun vom ausgepressten Soma.
Wenn ihr, Indra und Agni, bei den Yadu´s, den Turvasa´s, wenn ihr bei den Druhuy´s, den Anu´s, den Puru´s seid, so kommt doch ja von dort her, ihr Bullen, und trinket vom gepreßten Soma!

“Whether, Indra and Agni, you are in the lower, the central, or the upper region of the world, showerers of benefits, come hither from wherever you may be, and drink of the effused Soma libation.”
Whether, O Indra-Agni, ye be dwelling in lowest earth, in central, or in highest.
Even from thence, ye mighty Lords, come hither, and drink libations of the flowing Soma.
When, o Indra and Agni, you are on the lowest earth, on the middle one, and on the highest one,
from there, bulls—yes! drive here. Then drink of the pressed soma.

“Whether, Indra and Agni, you are in the upper, central, or lower region of the world, come,showerers of benefits, hither from wherever you may be, and drink of the effused Soma libation.”

हे इन्द्राग्नी दिवि द्युलोके यत् यदि स्थः भवथः । यदि वा पृथिव्यां भूलोके यदि वा पर्वतेषु मेर्वादिषु मेघेषु वा । तथा ओषधीषु तिलमाषव्रीह्यादिषु अप्सु उदकेषु चानुग्राहकतया यदि वा स्थः । हे कामाभिवर्षकौ युवाम् अतः सर्वस्मात् स्थानादागच्छतम् । आगत्य चाभिषुतं सोमं पिबतम् ॥ पृथिव्याम् ।' उदात्तयण:०' इति विभक्तेरुदात्तत्वम् । ओषधीषु । ओषः पाक आसु धीयते इति ओषधयः । ‘ कर्मण्यधिकरणे च' इति किप्रत्ययः । दासीभारादित्वात् पूर्वपदप्रकृतिस्वरत्वम् । तच्च घञन्तमाद्युदात्तम् । ओषधेश्च विभक्तावप्रथमायाम्' इति दीर्घः ॥
“Whether, Indra and Agni, you are in heaven or upon earth, in the mountains, in the herbs, or in the waters, showerers of benefits, come hither from wherever you may be, and drink of the effused Soma libation.”
Whether ye be in heaven, O Indra-Agni, on earth, on mountains, in the herbs, or waters,
Even from thence, ye mighty Lords, come hither, and drink libations of the flowing Soma.
When, o Indra and Agni, you are in heaven, when on earth, when in the mountains, in the plants, in the waters,
from there, bulls—yes! drive here. Then drink of the pressed soma.

Wenn ihr, Indra und Agni, im Himmel seid, wenn auf Erden, wenn in den Bergen, Pflanzen, Gewässern, so kommt doch ja von dort her, ihr Bullen, und trinket vom gepreßten Soma!

हे इन्द्राग्नी उदिता उदितस्योदयं प्राप्तस्य सूर्यस्य आदित्यस्य संबन्धिनः दिवः द्योतमानस्य अन्तरिक्षस्य मध्ये मध्यभागे स्वधया आत्मीयेन तेजसा हविर्लक्षणेनान्नेन वा यत् यस्मात् कारणात् मादयेथे तृप्तौ भवथः तस्मात् कारणात् अतः सर्वस्मादन्तरिक्षभागात् हे कामाभिवर्षकाविन्द्राग्नी आगच्छतम् । आगमनानन्तरमभिषुतं सोमं पिबतम् ॥ उदिता । ‘सुपां सुलुक्° ' इति षष्यातम डादेशः । दिवः । ऊडिदम्' इति विभक्तेरुदात्तत्वम् । मादयेथे । ‘ मद तृप्तियोगे । चुरादिरात्मनेपदी ।
“Although, Indra and Agni, in the midst of the sky, on the rising of the sun, you may be exhilarated by your own splendour, yet, showerers of benefits, come hither from wherever you maybe, and drink of the effused Soma libation.”
If, when the Sun to the mid-heaven hath mounted, ye take delight in food, O Indra-Agni,
Even from thence, ye mighty Lords, come hither, and drink libations of the flowing Soma.
When, o Indra and Agni, at the rising of the sun in the middle of the heaven you bring yourselves to exhilaration by your own power,
from there, bulls—yes! drive here. Then drink of the pressed soma.
Wenn, Indra-Agni, ihr bei Sonnenaufgang, zu Mittag euch berauscht am süssen Tranke, So kommt von da zu uns doch her, ihr Stiere, und trinket nun vom ausgepressten Soma.
Wenn ihr, Indra und Agni, im Aufgang der Sonne, in der Mitte des Himmels euch nach eigenem Ermessen ergötzet, so kommt doch ja von dort her, ihr Bullen, und trinket vom gepreßten Soma!

हे इन्द्राग्नी सुतस्य अभिषुतं सोमम् एव एवं पपिवांसा पीतवन्तौ युवाम् अस्मभ्यं विश्वा सर्वाणि धनानि सं जयतं प्रयच्छतम् । यदनेन सूक्तेन प्रार्थितं तत् मित्रादयः ममहन्तां पूजयन्तु' । पपिवांसा। ‘पा पाने'। लिटः क्वसुः। ‘वस्वेकाजाद्धसाम्' इति इडागमः ॥।॥ २७ ॥
“Thus, Indra and Agni, drinking deep of the libation, grant to us all (kinds of) wealth; and may Mitra, Varuṇa and Aditi--ocean, earth, and heaven, preserve it to us.”
Thus having drunk your fill of our libation, win us all kinds of wealth, Indra and Agni.
This prayer of ours may Varuna grant, and Mitra, and Aditi and Sindhu, Earth and Heaven.
Thus, o Indra and Agni, having drunk of the pressed soma, entirely conquer all rich prizes for us.
– This let Mitra and Varuṇa grant to us, and Aditi, River, and Earth and Heaven.
Wenn so den Saft geschlürft ihr, Indra-Agni, so mögt für uns ihr alles Gut erbeuten, Das mög' uns Mitra, Varuna gewähren und Aditi, das Meer, und Erd' und Himmel.
Nachdem ihr, Indra und Agni, also vom gepreßten Soma getrunken habt, gewinnt für uns alle Kampfpreise! Das sollen uns Mitra, Varuna gewähren, Aditi, Sindhu, Erde und Himmel!

Завоюйте для нас все награды!
Пусть нам это щедро даруют Митра, Варуна,
