ऋषिपरुच्छेपो दैवोदासिः

सु॒षु॒मा या॑त॒मद्रि॑भि॒र्गोश्री॑ता मत्स॒रा इ॒मे सोमा॑सो मत्स॒रा इ॒मे । आ रा॑जाना दिविस्पृशास्म॒त्रा ग॑न्त॒मुप॑ नः । इ॒मे वां॑ मित्रावरुणा॒ गवा॑शिर॒: सोमा॑: शु॒क्रा गवा॑शिरः ॥
सु॒षु॒म । आ । या॒त॒म् । अद्रि॑ऽभिः । गोऽश्री॑ताः । म॒त्स॒राः । इ॒मे । सोमा॑सः । मत्स॒राः । इ॒मे । आ । रा॒जा॒ना॒ । दि॒वि॒ऽस्पृ॒शा॒ । अ॒स्म॒ऽत्रा । ग॒न्त॒म् । उप॑ । नः॒ । इ॒मे । वा॒म् । मि॒त्रा॒व॒रु॒णा॒ । गोऽआ॑शिरः । सोमाः॑ । शु॒क्राः । गोऽआ॑शिरः ॥
हे मित्रावरुणौ आ यातम् अस्मद्यज्ञं प्रति आगच्छतम् । आगमनाय किमस्तीति चेत् तत्राह। अद्रिभिः अभिषवसाधनैर्ग्रावभिः सुषुम सोमं सुतवन्तो वयम् ॥ सुनोतेर्लिटि रूपम् । अतः गोश्रीताः । विकारे प्रकृतिशब्दः । पयोभिर्मिश्रिताः । तस्मान्मैत्रावरुणं पयसा श्रीणाति' (तै. सं. ६. ४. ८. १) इति हि ब्राह्मणम् । मत्सराः तृप्तिहेतवः सोमाः ।' मत्सरः सोमो मन्दतेस्तृप्तिकर्मणः । (निरु. २. ५) इति यास्कः । इमे पुरतो गृहीता वर्तन्ते । अतः आ यातम् । पुनस्त एव विशेष्यन्ते । इमे सोमासो मत्सराः मदहेतवो मादने मात्सर्यवन्तो वा इतरयज्ञगतसोमेभ्यः सोमाः। कीदृशौ युवाम् । राजाना राजनशीलौ दिविस्पृशा द्युलोकवासिनौ ॥' हृद्यु्तभ्यां ङेरुपसंख्यानम् । (पा. सू. ६. ३. ९. १) इति अलुक् ॥ ईदृशौ युवाम् अस्मत्रा अस्मासु मध्ये अस्मत्पालकौ वा युवां नः अस्मत्संबन्धिनं यज्ञम् उप गन्तम् आगच्छतम् । किंच हे मित्रावरुणा एतन्नामानौ देवौ वां युवयोरर्थाय इमे सोमाः गवाशिरः । पूर्ववत् विकारे प्रकृतिशब्दः । गोभिः क्षीरैः आशिरो मिश्रिताः संजाताः। किंच गवाशिरः गोभिः उदकैः मिश्रिताः संजाताः । यद्वा । गोभिः स्तुतिलक्षणैर्मन्त्रैः मिश्रिताः । अत एव शुक्राः दीप्ताः संजाताः। 'आशिरमव नयति सशुक्रत्वाय' (तै. सं. ६. १. ६. ५) इति श्रुतेः ॥
“Come, (Mitra and Varuṇa, to our sacrifice); where we express (the Soma) with stones; these Soma mixed with milk are exhilarating; these (Soma) are exhilarating; come to us, royal divinities, dwellers in heaven and our protectors; these Soma are mixed with milk for you, Mitra and Varuṇa, they are pure, mixed with milk.”
WITH stones have we pressed out: O come; these gladdening drops are blent with milk, these Soma-drops which gladden you.
Come to us, Kings who reach to heaven, approach us, coming hitherward.
These milky drops are yours, Mitra and Varuna, bright Soma juices blent with milk.
We have pressed—you two, drive hither—with the stones; these
exhilarating ones here are mixed with cows [=milk]—these
exhilarating soma drinks.
You two kings, touching heaven, come here right to us, into our midst. These with their milk mixture are for you two, Mitra and Varuṇa—the clear soma drinks and those with their milk mixture.

Gekeltert haben wir, o kommt, die Soma's sind mit Milch gemischt, die kräftigen berauschenden; Kommt her, die ihr zum Himmel reicht, o Könige, zu uns herbei; Hier sind die milchgemischten, Mitra-Varuna, die hellen Soma's, milchgemischt.

इ॒मे । आ । या॒त॒म् । इन्द॑वः । सोमा॑सः । दधि॑ऽआशिरः । सु॒तासः॑ । दधि॑ऽआशिरः । उ॒त । वा॒म् । उ॒षसः॑ । बु॒धि । सा॒कम् । सूर्य॑स्य । र॒श्मिऽभिः॑ । सु॒तः । मि॒त्राय । वरु॑णाय । पी॒तये॑ । चारुः॑ । ऋ॒ताय॑ । पी॒तये॑ ॥
हे मित्रावरुणौ आ यातम् आगच्छतम् । यतो युष्मदर्थम् इन्दवः क्लेदनसमर्थाः सोमासः सोमाः दध्याशिरः दध्नाश्रयणवन्तः सन्तः इमे पुरतो ग्रहेण गृहीता वर्तन्ते अतः आ यातम् । किंच दध्याशिरः धीयमानाशिरः सोमाः सुतासः मन्त्रेण ग्रावभिरभिषुताः संपन्नाः । अत आ यातमिति शेषः। आदित्यग्रहे दध्यवनयसद्भावात् तदपेक्षया दध्याशिर इत्युक्तम्। उत अपि च वां युवयोः प्रीतये पालनाय उषसो बुधि उषसः संबन्धिनि बोधे सति ॥ संपदादिलक्षणो भावे क्विप्। ‘ सावेकाचः । इति विभक्तेरुदात्तत्वम् ॥ प्रकाशे संजाते सति । न केवलमुषस एव बोधे अपि तु सूर्यस्य रश्मिभिः साकं सूर्यकिरणैः सह प्रकाशे हविष्प्रदानाय संजाते सति सुतः सोमोऽभिषुतः। इदानीं वियुज्य उच्यते । मित्राय सर्वहिताय एतन्नामकाय अहरभिमानिदेवाय तथा वरणाय आवरकाय रात्र्यभिमानिदेवाय च तदर्थं सोमः सुतः इति शेषः । किंच ऋताय यज्ञाय तन्निर्वाहकाय तदर्थं पीतये पानाय । यज्ञसिद्ध्यर्थं हि देवानां सोमपानम् । यद्वा ॥ कर्तरि क्तिच् ॥ पीतये पात्रे ऋत्विगादये ऋताय यज्ञाय तन्निर्वाहकाय । चारुः चरणीयो भक्षणीयः सोमः सुतोऽभिषुतः ॥
“Come, for the dipping Soma are mixed with curds; they are expressed and mixed with curds; whether they be prepared for you at the awaking of the dawn, or (be associated) with the rays of the sun; the juice is effused for Mitra and Varuṇa, for their drinking the grateful (libation); for their drinking at the sacrifice.”
Here are the droppings; come ye nigh the Soma-droppings blent with curd, juices expressed and blent with curd.
Now for the wakening of your Dawn together with the Sun-God's rays,
juice waits for Mitra and for Varuna to drink, fair juice for drink, for sacrifice.
Here—you two, drive hither—are the drops, the soma drinks mixed with curds—the pressings mixed with curds.
And at the waking of the dawn, simultaneous with the rays of the sun, it is pressed for you two, Mitra and Varuṇa, for drinking—the pleasing one (pressed) for truth and for drinking.
Hier sind die Indu's, kommet her, die milchgemischten Soma's hier, die milchgemischten Säfte hier; Und bei des Morgens Anbruch auch und bei der Sonne erstem Strahl Steht schöner Saft zum Trunk euch, Mitra-Varuna, bereit zu regelrechtem Trunk.
Diese Somasäfte sind mit saurer Milch gemischt - kommt her - die ausgepreßten sind mit saurer Milch gemischt. Auch für euch beide ist er bei dem Erwachen der Morgenröte, gleichzeitig mit den ersten Strahlen der Sonne gepreßt, für Mitra, für Varuna zum Trunke, der angenehme für den Wahrhaften zum Trunke.

वां युवयोः संबन्धिनम् अंशुं वल्लीरूपं सोमं दुहन्ति संपादयन्त्यध्वर्यवः । किमिव । तां प्रसिद्धामग्निहोत्राद्यर्थां वासरीं सर्वाङ्गाच्छादितपयस्कां बहुक्षीरामित्यर्थः । यद्वा । पयआदिनाच्छादयित्रीम् ॥ ‘वस आच्छादने'। औणादिकः अरिप्रत्ययः। ' कृतिकारादक्तिनः' इति ङीष् । यद्वा । केवलः औणादिकः अरप्रत्ययः स्वार्थिकः अण् ॥ धेनुं न प्रीणयित्रीं गामिव । केन साधनेनेति तदाह । अद्रिभिः अभिषवसाधनैर्ग्रावभिः । किच अद्रिभिः तैरेव साधनैः सोमं युष्मदर्थमेव दुहन्ति वल्लीरूपं सोमं युष्मदर्थमेव उदकेन आप्लाव्य रसं दुहन्ति। किंच अर्वाञ्चा अस्मदभिमुखौ सन्तौ सोमपीतये सोमपानाय अस्मत्रा अस्मत्त्रातारौ युवां नः अस्मदीयं यज्ञम् उप गन्तम् उपागच्छतम्। किंच वां युष्मदर्थम् अयं सोमः नृभिः नेतृभिर्यज्ञनिर्वाहकैर्ऋत्विग्भिः सुतः अभिषुतः । किंच आ पीतये संपूर्णपानाय सुतः अतः आगच्छतमित्यर्थः ॥ ॥ १ ॥
“They milk for you two with stones, that succulent creeper, like a productive cow; they milk the Soma with stones; come to us as our protectors; be present with us to drink the Soma; thos Soma has been effused, Mitra and Varuṇa, for you both; effused for your drinking.”
As 'twere a radiant-coloured cow, they milk with stones the stalk for you, with stones they milk the Soma-plant.
May ye come nigh us, may ye turn hither to drink the Soma juice.
The men pressed out this juice, Mitra and Varuna, pressed out this Soma for your drink.
This plant, like a dawn cow, do they milk for you two with the stones— the soma they milk with the stones.
Come here right to us, into our midst, nearby, to drink the soma.
Here it is, pressed by men for you two, Mitra and Varuṇa—the soma pressed for drinking.
Mit Steinen melken sie den Schaft, wie eine Kuh im Morgenroth, mit Steinen melken Soma sie; Ihr möget kommen zu uns her, recht nahe zu dem Somatrunk, Euch ist der Soma, Mitra-Varuna, gebraut, von Männern euch zum Trunk gebraut
Diesen Stengel melken sie für euch mit den Steinen wie die Kuh am Morgen, den Soma melken sie mit den Steinen aus. Kommt zu uns herbei zum Somatrunk! Dieser ist für euch beide, Mitra und Varuna, von den Männern ausgepreßt, der Soma zum Trunke ausgepreßt.

Вот для вас, о Митра-Варуна, мужами выжат
