ऋषिभुवन आप्त्यः साधनो वा भौवनः
देवताविश्वेदेवाः

छन्दद्विपदा त्रिष्टुप्
इ॒मा नु कं॒ भुव॑ना सीषधा॒मेन्द्र॑श्च॒ विश्वे॑ च दे॒वाः ॥
इ॒मा । नु । क॒म् । भुव॑ना । सी॒स॒धा॒म॒ । इन्द्रः॑ । च॒ । विश्वे॑ । च॒ । दे॒वाः ॥
इमा इमानि प्रदृश्यमानानि भुवना भुवनानि नु क्षिप्रं सीषधाम साधयामः वशीकुर्मः । कम् इति पूरकः । यद्वा । इमानि सर्वाणि भूतजातान्यस्मभ्यं कं सुखं सीषधाम । साधयन्तु । पुरुषव्यत्ययः। इन्द्रश्च विश्वे सर्वे अन्ये देवाः च स्तुत्या प्रीता इममर्थं साधयन्तु ॥
“May we, along with Indra and the universal gods, possess all these worlds.”
WE will, with Indra and all Gods to aid us, bring these existing worlds into subjection.
These living worlds here let us bring to success—we and Indra and all the gods.

Diese Welt wollen wir fürwahr zurecht bringen, wir und Indra und alle Götter.

य॒ज्ञं च॑ नस्त॒न्वं॑ च प्र॒जां चा॑दि॒त्यैरिन्द्र॑: स॒ह ची॑कॢपाति ॥
य॒ज्ञम् । च॒ । नः॒ । त॒न्व॑म् । च॒ । प्र॒ऽजाम् । च॒ । आ॒दि॒त्यैः । इन्द्रः॑ । स॒ह । ची॒कॢ॒पा॒ति॒ ॥
नः अस्माकं यज्ञं ज्योतिष्टोमादिकं यागं तन्वं शरीरं च प्रजां पुत्रादिकां च आदित्यैः अदितिपुत्रैरन्यैर्देवैः सह वर्तमानः इन्द्रः चीक्लृपाति कल्पयतु । यज्ञादिकं स्वव्यापारसमर्थं करोतु ॥
“May Indra with the Ādityas perfect our sacrifice and our bodies and our offspring.”
Our sacrifice, our bodies, and our offspr. let Indra form together with Adityas.
Our sacrifice and our own body and our offspring may Indra, along with the Ādityas, set in order.
Das Opfer und uns selbst und unsre Kinder mög' Indra segnen, er mit den Aditja's.
Unser Opfer, unseren Leib und unsere Kinder möge Indra mit den Aditya´s in Ordnung halten.
И жертву нашу, и тело, и потомство
Индра вместе с Адитьями пусть приведут в порядок!
आ॒दि॒त्यैरिन्द्र॒: सग॑णो म॒रुद्भि॑र॒स्माकं॑ भूत्ववि॒ता त॒नूना॑म् ॥
आ॒दि॒त्यैः । इन्द्रः॑ । सऽग॑णः । म॒रुत्ऽभिः॑ । अ॒स्माक॑म् । भू॒तु॒ । अ॒वि॒ता । त॒नू॑नाम् ॥
आदित्यैः अदितिपुत्रैर्मित्रादिभिः मरुद्भिः च सगणः सहितः इन्द्रः अस्माकं तनूनां शरीराणां तनयानां वा अविता भूतु रक्षिता भवतु ॥
“May Indra with the Ādityas, and attended by the Maruts, be the protector of our bodies.”
With the Adityas, with the band of Maruts, may Indra be Protector of our bodies.
Along with the Ādityas, let Indra, flocking with the Maruts, be the helper of our bodies.
Geschart mit den Aditja's und den Marut's mög' Indra sein der Schützer unsrer Leiber.
Indra mit den Aditya´s, mit der Gefolgschaft der Marut soll der Schützer unserer Leiber sein.
Индра вместе с Адитьями, окруженный толпой Марутов.

ह॒त्वाय॑ दे॒वा असु॑रा॒न्यदाय॑न्दे॒वा दे॑व॒त्वम॑भि॒रक्ष॑माणाः ॥
ह॒त्वाय॑ । दे॒वाः । असु॑रान् । यत् । आय॑न् । दे॒वाः । दे॒व॒ऽत्वम् । अ॒भि॒ऽरक्ष॑माणाः ॥
देवाः इन्द्रादयः असुरान् क्षेप्तॄन् वृत्रादीन् हत्वाय हत्वा विनाश्य यत् यदा आयन आगच्छन् स्वकीयॆ स्थानॆ प्राप्नुवन् तदानीं ते देवाः देवत्वम् आत्मीयममृतत्वम् अभिरक्षमाणाः अभितः सर्वतो रक्षन्तोऽभूवन् । बाधकाभावात् सर्वत्र प्रख्यापितवन्त इत्यर्थः ॥
“When the gods returned (home), after slaying the asuras, (then were) the deities protecting theirdivinity.”
As when the Gods came, after they had slaughtered the Asuras, keeping safe their Godlike nature,
The gods upon having smashed the Asuras when they came—the gods guarding their own godhood—
Als nach Besiegung der Asuren kamen die Götter ihre Gottheit zu befest'gen,
Als die Götter die Asura´s geschlagen hatten und ihre Göttlichkeit wahrend ihres Wegs gingen,
Когда боги пришли, убив асуров,
Боги, защищающие (свою) божественную суть,
प्र॒त्यञ्च॑म॒र्कम॑नय॒ञ्छची॑भि॒रादित्स्व॒धामि॑षि॒रां पर्य॑पश्यन् ॥
प्र॒त्यञ्च॑म् । अ॒र्कम् । अ॒न॒य॒न् । शची॑भिः । आत् । इत् । स्व॒धाम् । इ॒षि॒राम् । परि॑ । अ॒प॒श्य॒न् ॥
शचीभिः कर्मभिः परिचरणात्मकैः सार्धम् अर्कम् अर्चनसाधनं स्तोत्रं प्रत्यञ्चम् इन्द्रादीन् प्रत्यञ्चत् अनयन् स्तोतारः प्रापयन् । यदैवम् आदित् अनन्तरमेव इषिरां गमनशीलं स्वधां वृष्ट्युदकं पर्यपश्यन् सर्वे जनाः परितः पश्यन्ति । यद्वा । इषिरामेषणीयां स्वधाम् । अन्ननामैतत् । हविर्लक्षणमन्नं सर्वे देवाः परिपश्यन्ति ॥ ॥ १५ ॥
“When (the worshippers) with their pious acts offered praise in honour (of the gods), then (men) beheldaround them the swift descending rain.”
Brought the Sun hitherward with mighty powers, and looked about them on their vigorous Godhead.
Led the ray [=sun] to face toward (us) with their skills. Just after that they surveyed their vigorous self-power.
Da führten sie mit Kraft die Sonne herwärts, da sah man ihre Schöpferkraft sich regen.
Da führten sie durch ihre Künste die Sonne zurück, und alsbald erblickten sie ringsum rege Lebenskraft.
Своими способностями обратили к себе солнце,
И тогда увидели свою животворную природу.
