ऋषिवत्स आग्नेयः

छन्दगायत्री
प्राग्नये॒ वाच॑मीरय वृष॒भाय॑ क्षिती॒नाम् । स न॑: पर्ष॒दति॒ द्विष॑: ॥
प्र । अ॒ग्नये॑ । वाच॑म् । ई॒र॒य॒ । वृ॒ष॒भाय॑ । क्षि॒ती॒नाम् । सः । नः॒ । प॒र्ष॒त् । अति॑ । द्विषः॑ ॥
हे स्तोतः अग्नये स्तुतिरूपां वाचं प्र ईरय उच्चारय । कथंभूताय । क्षितीनां मनुष्याणां यजमानानां वृषभाय कामानां वर्षित्रे । किं प्रयोजनमिति चेत् । सः अग्निः नः अस्मान् द्विषः द्वेष्टॄन् अति पर्षत् अतिपारयेत् ॥
“Raise the hymn to Agni, the benefactor of mankind; may he bear us (safe) beyond (the reach of) thosewho hate us.”
To Agni send I forth my song, to him the Bull of all the folk:
So may he bear us past our foes.
Rouse forth speech for Agni, for the bull of the settlements.
He will carry us across hatreds.
Uns wehe Arzenei der Wind, die Heil und Lust dem Herzen sei, Er dehne unser Leben aus.
Auf Agni heb die Rede an, auf den Bullen der Stämme; er helfe uns über die Feinde hinweg!
Приведи в движение речь для Агни,
Быка поселений!
Да перевезет он нас через проявления ненависти!
यः पर॑स्याः परा॒वत॑स्ति॒रो धन्वा॑ति॒रोच॑ते । स न॑: पर्ष॒दति॒ द्विष॑: ॥
यः । पर॑स्याः । प॒रा॒ऽवतः॑ । ति॒रः । धन्व॑ । अ॒ति॒ऽरोच॑ते । सः । नः॒ । प॒र्ष॒त् । अति॑ । द्विषः॑ ॥
यः अग्निः परस्याः परावतः अतिशयिताद्दूरदेशात् तिरः । प्राप्तनामैतत् । प्राप्तसंबन्धं धन्व मरुभूमिं जलवर्जितं देशम् अतिरोचते अतिक्रम्य प्रज्वलति । यद्वा । धन्व अन्तरिक्षम् । धन्वन्यन्तरिक्षे तिरस्तिर्यगतिरोचते भृशं प्रकाशते । गतमन्यत् ॥
“May (Agni), who from a great distance shines fiercely upon the desert tract that he has attained, bearus (safe) beyond (the reach of) those who hate us.”
Who from the distance far away shines brilliantly across the wastes:
So may he bear us past our foes.
Who from the distant distance shines across the wastelands,
he will carry us across hatreds.
Und du, o Wind, bist Vater uns, du bist uns Bruder, bist uns Freund, Drum schaffe langes Leben uns.
Der aus fernster Ferne über die Steppe hinweg leuchtet, der helfe uns über die Feinde hinweg!

यो रक्षां॑सि नि॒जूर्व॑ति॒ वृषा॑ शु॒क्रेण॑ शो॒चिषा॑ । स न॑: पर्ष॒दति॒ द्विष॑: ॥
यः । रक्षां॑सि । नि॒ऽजूर्व॑ति । वृषा॑ । शु॒क्रेण॑ । शो॒चिषा॑ । सः । नः॒ । प॒र्ष॒त् । अति॑ । द्विषः॑ ॥
वृषा वर्षिता यः अग्निः शुक्रेण निर्मलेन शुभ्रवर्णेन वा शोचिषा तेजसा रक्षांसि यज्ञस्य हन्तॄणि निजूर्वति निहिनस्ति । जूर्वी हिंसार्थः । गतमन्यत् ॥
“May (Agni), the showerer of benefits, who, his pure radiance destroys the rākṣasas, bear us (safe)beyond (the reach of) those who hate us.”
The Bull with brightly-gleaming flame who utterly consumes the fiends
So may he bear us past our foes.
Who grinds down the demonic forces, the bull with flaming flame, he will carry us across hatreds.
O Wind, welch Schatz von Amrita in deinem Haus dort ist bewahrt, Von dem verleih zum Leben uns.
Der die Unholde niederbrennt, der Bulle mit heller Glut, der helfe uns über die Feinde hinweg!
Кто испепелит ракшасов,
(Этот) бык со светлым пламенем,
Да перевезет он нас через проявления ненависти!
यो विश्वा॒भि वि॒पश्य॑ति॒ भुव॑ना॒ सं च॒ पश्य॑ति । स न॑: पर्ष॒दति॒ द्विष॑: ॥
यः । विश्वा॑ । अ॒भि । वि॒ऽपश्य॑ति । भुव॑ना । सम् । च॒ । पश्य॑ति । सः । नः॒ । प॒र्ष॒त् । अति॑ । द्विषः॑ ॥
यः अग्निः सूर्यरूपेण विश्वा विश्वानि सर्वाणि भूतजातानि अभि अभिमुखं विपश्यति विशेषेण तेजसा प्रेक्षते । प्रकाशयतीत्यर्थः । भुवना भुवनानि भूतजातानि सं पश्यति च सम्यग्जानाति च । अन्यत्सिद्धम् ॥
“The Agni that glances at all the lokas, should protect us from the ill-will of enemies.”
Who looks on all existing things and comprehends them with his view:
So may he bear us past our foes.
Who looks at all creatures separately and sees them whole,
he will carry us across hatreds.
Der nach allen Geschöpfen ausschaut und sie überschaut, der helfe uns über die Feinde hinweg!
Кто смотрит на все существа поотдельности
И смотрит (на них) вместе взятых,
Да переведет он нас через проявления ненависти!
यो अ॒स्य पा॒रे रज॑सः शु॒क्रो अ॒ग्निरजा॑यत । स न॑: पर्ष॒दति॒ द्विष॑: ॥
यः । अ॒स्य । पा॒रे । रज॑सः । शु॒क्रः । अ॒ग्निः । अजा॑यत । सः । नः॒ । प॒र्ष॒त् । अति॑ । द्विषः॑ ॥
अस्य रजसः लोकस्यान्तरिक्षस्य पारे उपरिदेशे शुक्रः शुभ्रवर्णः यः अग्निः विद्युदात्मना सूर्यात्मना वा अजायत प्रादुर्भवति सः नः अस्मान् द्विषः द्वेष्टॄन् अति पर्षत् अतिपारयतु ॥ ॥ ४५ ॥
“The Agni that appears in the celestial sphere above us in the form of illumined light, should protect usfrom all kinds of sorrows and troubles.”
Resplendent Agni, who was born in farthest region of the air:
So may he bear us past our foes.
Who on the far shore of this airy realm was born as flaming Agni, he will carry us across hatreds.
Der am anderen Ende dieses Luftraumes als der helle Agni geboren wird, der helfe uns über die Feinde hinweg!

Этого пространства, светлый Агни,
