ऋषिसंवननः
देवतासंज्ञानं
मन्त्र3
छन्दअनुष्टुप्
सं ग॑च्छध्वं॒ सं व॑दध्वं॒ सं वो॒ मनां॑सि जानताम् । दे॒वा भा॒गं यथा॒ पूर्वे॑ संजाना॒ना उ॒पास॑ते ॥
सम् । ग॒च्छ॒ध्व॒म् । सम् । व॒द॒ध्व॒म् । सम् । वः॒ । मनां॑सि । जा॒न॒ता॒म् । दे॒वाः । भा॒गम् । यथा॑ । पूर्वे॑ । स॒म्ऽजा॒ना॒नाः । उ॒प॒ऽआस॑ते ॥
हे स्तोतारः यूयं सं गच्छध्वम् । संगताः संभूता भवत” ॥ ‘समो गम्यृच्छि” इत्यादिना गमेरात्मनेपदम् ॥ तथा सं वदध्वं सह वदत । परस्परं विरोधं परित्यज्यैकविधमेव वाक्यं ब्रूतेति यावत् । ‘ व्यक्तवाचां समुच्चारणे ' ( पा. सू. १. ३. ४८) इति वदेरात्मनेपदम्। वः युष्माकं मनांसि सं जानताम् । समानमेकरूपमेवार्थमवगच्छन्तु ॥ ‘ संप्रतिभ्यामनाध्याने ' (पा. सू. १. ३. ४६ ) इति जानातेरात्मनेपदम् ॥ यथा पूर्वे पुरातनाः देवाः संजानानाः ऐकमत्यं प्राप्ता हविर्भागम् उपासते यथास्वं स्वीकुर्वन्ति तथा यूयमपि वैमत्यं परित्यज्य धनं स्वीकुरुतेति शेषः ॥
“Meet together, talk together, let your minds apprehend alike; in like manner as the ancient godsconcurring accepted their portion of the sacrifice.”
Assemble, speak together: let your minds be all of one accord,
As ancient Gods unanimous sit down to their appointed share.
Come together, speak together; together let your thoughts agree,
just as the gods of long ago, coming to an agreement together, reverently approach their sacrificial portion.
Und aus dem Meer, dem wogenden, erzeugte sich des Jahres Lauf; Vertheilend Tag und Nacht beherrscht er alles, was die Augen schliesst.
Geht zusammen, verständiget euch! Eure Sinne sollen einträchtig sein, wie die Götter vor Zeiten einträchtig bei ihrem Opferanteil saßen.
Вместе сходитесь! Вместе договаривайтесь!
Вместе пусть будут направлены ваши мысли.
Как некогда боги с мыслями, направленными вместе,
Сидели у (своей) доли (на жертвоприношении)!
स॒मा॒नो मन्त्र॒: समि॑तिः समा॒नी स॑मा॒नं मन॑: स॒ह चि॒त्तमे॑षाम् । स॒मा॒नं मन्त्र॑म॒भि म॑न्त्रये वः समा॒नेन॑ वो ह॒विषा॑ जुहोमि ॥
स॒मा॒नः । मन्त्रः॑ । सम्ऽइ॑तिः । स॒मा॒नी । स॒मा॒नम् । मनः॑ । स॒ह । चि॒त्तम् । ए॒षा॒म् । स॒मा॒नम् । मन्त्र॑म् ॥
पूर्वोऽर्धर्चः परोक्षकृतः उत्तरः प्रत्यक्षकृतः । एषाम् एकस्मिन् कर्मणि सह प्रवृत्तानामृत्विजां स्तोतॄणां वा मन्त्रः स्तुतिः शस्त्राद्यात्मका गुप्तभाषणं वा समानः एकविधोऽस्तु । तथा समितिः प्राप्तिरपि समानी एकरूपास्तु ॥ ‘ केवलमामक° इत्यादिना समानशब्दात् ङीप् । उदात्तनिवृत्तिस्वरेण ङीप उदात्तत्वम् । तथा मनः मननसाधनमन्तःकरणं चैषां समानम् एकविधमप्यस्तु । चित्तं विचारजं ज्ञानं तथा सह सहितं परस्परस्यैकार्थेनैकीभूतमस्तु । अहं च वः युष्माकं समानम् एकविधं मन्त्रम् अभि मन्त्रये । ऐकविध्याय संस्करोमि । तथा वः युष्माकं स्वभूतेन समानेन साधारणेन हविषा चरुपुरोडाशादिना अहं जुहोमि ॥ तृतीया च होश्छन्दसि’ (पा. सू. २. ३. ३) इति कर्मणि कारके तृतीया ॥ वषट्कारेण हविः प्रक्षेपयामीत्यर्थः ॥
“Common be the prayer of these (assembled worshippers), common be the acquisition, common thepurpose, associated be the desire. I repeat for you a common prayer, I offer for you with a common oblation.”
The place is common, common the assembly, common the mind, so be their thought united.
A common purpose do I lay before you, and worship with your general oblation.
Common to them all is the solemn utterance, common the assembly, common their thought along with their perception.
I (hereby) utter an utterance common to you all on your behalf; with an oblation common to you all I offer on your behalf.
Und nach der Reihe bildete der Schöpfer Sonne dann und Mond, Den Himmel und die Erde dann, den Luftkreis und den Aetherraum.
Einig der Rat, einig die Versammlung, einig sei ihr Sinn, zusammenstimmend ihr Denken. Einträchtigen Rat rate ich euch an, mit einigem Opfer opfere ich für euch.
Единый совет, собрание единое,
Единая мысль, решение совместное у них.
Единый совет я советую вам,
Единым возлиянием жертвую вам.
स॒मा॒नी व॒ आकू॑तिः समा॒ना हृद॑यानि वः । स॒मा॒नम॑स्तु वो॒ मनो॒ यथा॑ व॒: सुस॒हास॑ति ॥
स॒मा॒नी । वः॒ । आऽकू॑तिः । स॒मा॒ना । हृद॑यानि । वः॒ । स॒मा॒नम् । अ॒स्तु॒ । वः॒ । मनः॑ । यथा॑ । वः॒ । सुऽस॑ह । अस॑ति ॥
हे ऋत्विग्यजमानाः वः युष्माकम् आकूतिः संकल्पोऽध्यवसायः समानी एकविधोऽस्तु । तथा वः युष्माकं हृदयानि समाना समानान्येकविधानि सन्तु । तथा वः युष्माकं मनः अन्तःकरणम् । प्रत्येकापेक्षयैकवचनम् । तदपि समानमस्तु । यथा वः युष्माकं सुसह शोभनं साहित्यम् असति भवति तथा समानमस्त्वित्यन्वयः ॥ अस्तेर्लटि ‘बहुलं छन्दसि' इति शपो लुगभावः ॥ ॥ ४९ ॥
“Common, (worshipppers), be your intention; common be (the wishes of) your hearts; common be yourthoughts, so that there may be thorough union among you.”
One and the same be your resolve, and be your minds of one accord.
United be the thoughts of all that all may happily agree.
Common is your purpose; common your hearts;
let your thought be common, so that it will go well for you together.
Einig sei euer Vorhaben, einig eure Herzen; einig soll euer Sinn sein, auf daß euch schönes Zusammenhalten sei!
Единым (да будет) ваш замысел,
Едиными – ваши сердца!
Единой да будет ваша мысль,
Чтоб было у вас доброе согласие!
