प्र घा॒ न्व॑स्य मह॒तो म॒हानि॑ स॒त्या स॒त्यस्य॒ कर॑णानि वोचम् । त्रिक॑द्रुकेष्वपिबत्सु॒तस्या॒स्य मदे॒ अहि॒मिन्द्रो॑ जघान ॥
प्र । घ॒ । नु । अ॒स्य॒ । म॒ह॒तः । म॒हानि॑ । स॒त्या । स॒त्यस्य॑ । कर॑णानि । वो॒च॒म् । त्रिऽक॑द्रुकेषु । अ॒पि॒ब॒त् । सु॒तस्य॑ । अ॒स्य । मदे॑ । अहि॑म् । इन्द्रः॑ । ज॒घा॒न॒ ॥
गृत्समदोभ्रूते महतोबलवतः सत्यस्य सत्यसङ्कल्पस्यास्येन्द्रस्य सत्या सत्यानियथार्थानि महानि- महान्तिकरणानि अस्मिन् सूक्तेवक्ष्यमाणानिकर्माणिनुअद्यप्रवोचं प्रकर्षेणब्रवीमि वचपरिभाषणे छन्दसिलुङ्लङ् लिटइतिवर्तमानेलुङि अस्यतिवक्तिख्यातिभ्योङ् वचउम् घेतिप्रसिद्धौ कानितानि- उच्यन्ते त्रिकद्र्४उकेषुज्योतिर्गोरायुरित्येवंरूपेष्वाभिप्लविकेष्वहस्सु सुतस्याभिषुतंसोमं इन्द्रोपिबत् ततःपीतस्यास्यसोमस्यमदेहर्षेसञ्जातेसति इन्द्रः अहिंवृत्रमसुरञ्जघानहतवान् ॥ १ ॥
“Verily, I proclaim the great and authentic deeds of the mighty and true (Indra); of him who drank the effused Soma at the Trikadruka rites, and in his exhilaration slew Ahi.”
Now, verily, will I declare the exploits, mighty and true, of him the True and Mighty.
In the Trikadrukas he drank the Soma then in its rapture Indra slew the Dragon.
Now I shall proclaim the great deeds of him the great one, the real acts of the real one.
He drank of the pressed soma among the Trikadrukas [=the Maruts?]. In its exhilaration Indra smashed the serpent.
Des grossen Indra grosse Heldenwerke, des Wahren wahre Thaten will ich preisen; Aus den Drei-Eimern trank er von dem Safte, in dessen Rausch er schlug den Drachen Indra.
Nun will ich dieses Großen große, des Wahrhaften wahrhafte Taten verkünden. Bei den Trikadruka´s trank er Soma; in dessen Rausch hat Indra den Drachen erschlagen.
Вот хочу я сейчас провозгласить великие
Деяния этого великого, истинные – истинного.
На (праздниках) трикадрука он напился выжатого (сомы),
В опьянении им Индра убил змея.

अ॒वं॒शे । द्याम् । अ॒स्त॒भा॒य॒त् । बृ॒हन्त॑म् । आ । रोद॑सी॒ इति॑ । अ॒पृ॒ण॒त् । अ॒न्तरि॑क्षम् । सः । धा॒र॒य॒त् । पृ॒थि॒वीम् । प॒प्रथ॑त् । च॒ । सोम॑स्य । ता । मदे॑ । इन्द्रः॑ । च॒का॒र॒ ॥
अवंशेआकाशेद्यान्द्योतमानंसूर्यन्द्युलोकंवा अस्तभायत् इन्द्रः अस्तभ्रात् अनवलम्बनस्यतस्थावस्था- पनमकरोदित्यर्थः स्तम्भुइतिसौत्रोधातुः क्र्यादिः लङिव्यत्ययोबहुलमितिअहावपि शायजदेशः बृहन्तं- महदन्तरिक्षं रोदसीद्यावापृथिव्यौचआअपृणत् स्वतेजसापूरितवान् किञ्च सइन्द्रः पृथिवींविस्तीर्णां- भूमिन्धारयत् अधारयत् तथा पप्रथच्च एनाम्भूमिंअप्रथयत् प्रथप्रख्याने ण्यन्तस्यलुङिचङिरूपम् चङ्य- न्यतरस्यामितिमध्योदात्तत्वं सोमस्यमदेहर्षेसञ्चातेसति ता तानीमानिकर्माणीन्द्रश्चकार ॥ २ ॥
“Who fixed the heaven in unsupported (space) and filled the spacious firmament, and heaven and earth, (with light); he it is who has upheld, and has made the earth renowned; in the exhilaration of the Soma, Indra has done these (deeds).”
High heaven unsupported in space he stablished: he filled the two worlds and the air's mid-region.
Earth he upheld, and gave it wide expansion. These things did Indra in the Soma's rapture.
He propped up lofty heaven on (the midspace) that has no pole. He filled the two world-halves and the midspace.
He held the earth fast and spread it out. – In soma’s exhilaration Indra did these things.
Den grossen Himmel stützt er ohne Balken, erfüllte beide Welten und den Luftraum; Er setzte fest und dehnte aus die Erde; im Rausch des Soma hat vollbracht dies Indra.
Da, wo kein Balken haftet, stützte er den hohen Himmel, er füllte beide Welten, den Luftraum an. Die Erde hat er befestigt und ausgebreitet. - Im Rausche des Soma hat das Indra getan.

सद्म॑ऽइव । प्राचः॑ । वि । मि॒मा॒य॒ । मानैः॑ । वज्रे॑ण । खानि॑ । अ॒तृ॒ण॒त् । न॒दीना॑म् । वृथा॑ । अ॒सृ॒ज॒त् । प॒थिऽभिः॑ । दी॒र्घ॒ऽया॒थैः । सोम॑स्य । ता । मदे॑ । इन्द्रः॑ । च॒का॒र॒ ॥
सद्मेव यथायज्ञगृहान्मानैः षट् त्रिंश्त्प्रक्रमप्राचीत्येवंरूपैःपरिमाणैः प्राक् प्रवणान्कुर्वन्ति तद्वत् सिन्धून् लोकान्वानृजून्मानैः परिमाणैः प्राचः प्राङ्मुखान्विमिमाय इन्द्रोविशेषेणनिर्मितवान् तथा- नदीनाङ्खानिनिर्गमनद्वाराणिवज्रेणचअतृणत् अखनत् तृहिहिंसानादरयोः रुधादिलङ् तथाचमन्त्रः— इन्द्रोअस्माँअरदद्वज्रबाहुरिति । तथादीर्घयाथैः बहुकालङ्गन्तव्यैः पथिभिर्मार्गैः वृथासृजत् अनाया- सेनतानदीःसृष्टवान् सोमस्येतिसिद्धार्थइति ॥ ३ ॥
“(He it is) who has measured the eastern (quarters) with measures like a chamber; who has dug with the thunderbolt the beds of the rivers, and has easily sent them forth by long-continued paths; in the exhilaration of the Soma, Indra has done these (deeds).”
From front, as 'twere a house, he ruled and measured; pierced with his bolt the fountains of the rivers,
And made them flow at ease by paths far-reaching, These things did Indra in the Soma's rapture.
Like (ritual) seats, he fixed (the rivers) eastward with his measuring rods: by his mace, he drilled out channels for the rivers;
by his choice, he released them along paths stretching far away. – In
soma’s exhilaration Indra did these things.
Wie Bauten mass er aus die Bahnen messend, den Strömen bohrte Rinnen mit dem Blitz er, Hiess sie durcheilen langgestreckte Pfade; im Rausch des Soma hat vollbracht dies Indra.
Er hat mit Maßen wie ein Wohnhaus die vorwärts gehenden Bahnen abgesteckt; mit der Keule öffnete er die Kanäle der Flüsse. Er ließ sie in ihren langgstreckten Bahnen nach Lust laufen. - Im Rausche des Soma hat das Indra getan.
. Он измерил мерами устремленные вперед (горы), словно (жертвенное) сиденье.
Ваджрой он пробил русла рек.
Он пустил (воды) весело течь по (их) долгобегущим путям.
В опьянении сомой Индра совершил эти (подвиги).

प्राक्विलचुमुरिधुनिप्रभृतयोसुराः दभीतेःपुरंसंरुध्यतम्परिगृह्यतस्मात्पुरान्निरगुरितिकथा सइन्द्रः दभीतेः दभीतिर्नामकश्चिद्राजर्षिः तस्यप्रवोह्ळ्न् प्रवोढृन् सहिव्होरोदवर्णस्येत्योत्वम् प्रकर्षेणतं- दभीतिंवहतस्तानसुरान्मध्येमार्गम्परिगत्यतेषांविश्वंसर्वमायुधमिद्धेग्नौदीप्यमानेवह्नौअधाक् अधा- क्षित् दहेर्लुङि मन्त्रेघसेत्यादिनाच्लेर्लुक् पश्चात्तन्दभीतिङ्गोभिरश्वैरथेभिः रथैश्चसमसृजत् संयोजित- वान् सोमस्येत्यादिसिद्धमिति ॥ ४ ॥ अतिमूर्तिनाम्न्येकाहेमरुत्वतीयेसूक्तमुखीया अतिमूर्तिनेतिखण्डेसूत्रितम्—सईम्महीन्धुनिमेतो- ररम्णादिति ।
“Encountering the (asuras), carrying off Dabhiti, he burnt all their weapons in a kindled fire, and enriched (the prince) with their cattle, their horses and their chariots; in the exhilaration of the Soma, Indra has done these (deeds).”
Compassing those who bore away Dabhiti, in kindled fire he burnt up all their weapons.
And made him rich with kine and cars and horses. These things did Indra in the Soma's rapture.
Having surrounded the raiders against Dabhīti, he burned their every weapon in the kindled fire.
He brought him together with cows, horses, and chariots. – In soma’s exhilaration Indra did these things.
Umlagernd die Entführer des Dabhiti, verbrannt er all ihr Rüstzeug in den Flammen, Versah ihn reich mit Rindern, Rossen, Wagen; im Rausch des Soma hat vollbracht dies Indra.
Er holte die Entführer des Dabhiti ein, die ganzen Waffen verbrannte er im entzündeten Feuer. Er versah ihn mit Rindern, Rossen und Wagen. - Im Rausche des Soma hat das Indra getan.
. Окружив похитителей Дабхити,
Он сжег все (их) оружие во вспыхнувшем огне.
Он снабдил (Дабхити) коровами, конями, колесницами.
В опьянении сомой Индра совершил эти (подвиги).

सः । ई॒म् । म॒हीम् । धुनि॑म् । एतोः॑ । अ॒र॒म्णा॒त् । सः । अ॒स्ना॒तॄन् । अ॒पा॒र॒य॒त् । स्व॒स्ति । ते । उ॒त्ऽस्नाय॑ । र॒यिम् । अ॒भि । प्र । त॒स्थुः॒ । सोम॑स्य । ता । मदे॑ । इन्द्रः॑ । च॒का॒र॒ ॥
सइन्द्रः ईमेनाम्महीम्महतीं धुनिं धुनोतिस्तोतॄणाम्पापानीतिधुनिः परुष्णीनदी तां एतोः ईश्वर- पदासन्निधानेपि तोसुन्प्रत्ययः ऋषीणाङ्गमनार्थंअरम्णात् उपाशमयत् महाजलान्नदींअल्पोदकाम- करोदित्यर्थः सइन्द्रः अस्नातॄन् स्नातुमशक्तान् तरणासमर्थानृषीन् स्वस्तिक्षेमेणअपरयत् तेमहर्षयः उत्स्नायतान्नदीमुत्तीर्ययंरयिमपेक्ष्यगच्छन्ति तंरयिंअभिलक्ष्यप्रतस्थुः प्रतस्थिरे शिष्टंसिद्धम् ॥ ५ ॥
“He tranquilized this great river, (so that it) might be crossed; he conveyed across it in safety (the sages) who had been unable to pass over it, and who, having crossed, proceeded to realize the wealthy they sought; in the exhilaration of the Soma, Indra has done these (deeds).”
The mighty roaring flood he stayed from flowing, and carried those who swam not safely over.
They having crossed the stream attained to riches. These things did Indra in the Soma's rapture.
He stopped the great, tumultuous (river) from going. He made the non-bathers cross over safely.
Having risen from this bath, they set out toward wealth. – In soma’s exhilaration Indra did these things.
Er bracht' zur Ruh den Strom, der reissend hinschoss, und setzte glücklich unbenetzt sie über; Heraus dann tauchend kamen sie zu Reichthum; im Rausch des Soma hat vollbracht dies Indra.
Er brachte den großen Strom in seinem Laufe zum Stillstand, er brachte die Nichtschwimmer heil hinüber. Dem Wasser entstiegen zogen diese auf Reichtum aus. - Im Rausche des Soma hat das Indra getan.
Он остановил в движении эту великую бурлящую (реку).
Неплавающих он благополучно переправил.
Выбравшись из воды, они отправились за богатством.
В опьянении сомой Индра совершил эти (подвиги).
सोद॑ञ्चं॒ सिन्धु॑मरिणान्महि॒त्वा वज्रे॒णान॑ उ॒षस॒: सं पि॑पेष । अ॒ज॒वसो॑ ज॒विनी॑भिर्विवृ॒श्चन्त्सोम॑स्य॒ ता मद॒ इन्द्र॑श्चकार ॥
सः । उद॑ञ्चम् । सिन्धु॑म् । अ॒रि॒णा॒त् । म॒हि॒त्वा । वज्रे॑ण । अनः॑ । उ॒षसः॑ । सम् । पि॒पे॒ष॒ । अ॒ज॒वसः॑ । ज॒विनी॑भिः । वि॒ऽवृ॒श्चन् । सोम॑स्य । ता । मदे॑ । इन्द्रः॑ । च॒का॒र॒ ॥
सइन्द्रः सिन्धुम्प्राञ्चंसन्तम्महित्वास्वकीयेनमहिम्नाउदञ्चमरिणात् उदङ्मुखमकरोत् सिन्धुशब्दः छन्दसिपुल्ँलिङ्गः उषसः उषोदेव्याः अनः शकटंवज्रेणसम्पिपेष चूर्णीचकार एतच्चदिवश्चिद्घादुहितर मित्यत्रस्पष्टंवक्ष्यते किङ्कुर्वन् अजवसः जवहीनादुर्बलाःसेनाःजविनीभिः जवयुक्ताभिः सेनाभिः विवृश्चन् विशेषेणभिन्दन् पिपेषेतिसमन्वयः ओव्रश्चूछेदने शतरिग्रहिज्यादिनासम्प्रसारणं शिष्टं- स्पष्टम् ॥ ६ ॥
“By his great power he turned the Sindhu towards the north; with his thunderbolt he ground to pieces the wagon of the dawn, scattering the tardy enemy with his swift forces; in the exhilaration of the Soma, Indra has done these (deeds).”
With mighty power he made the stream flow upward, crushed with his thunderbolt the car of Usas,
Rending her slow steeds with his rapid coursers. These things did Indra in the Soma's rapture.
By his greatness he made the Sindhu to flow northward, and with his mace he completely crushed the ox cart of Dawn,
while hewing apart the unswift ones by the swift ones. – In soma’s
exhilaration Indra did these things.
Er liess mit Macht den hohen Strom zerrinnen; der Uschas Wagen schlug er mit dem Blitze, Ihr träges Zugvieh spaltend mit den Raschen; im Rausch des Soma hat vollbracht dies Indra.
Er ließ durch seine Macht den Sindhu nordwärts fließen. Mit der Keule zerschmiß er den Karren der Usas, indem er die langsamen mit den geschwinden zerhieb. - Im Rausche des Soma hat das Indra getan.
Своим величием он пустил течь реку вверх.
Ваджрой он разбил повозку Ушас,
Кромсая неспешных силой спешащих.
В опьянении сомой Индра совершил эти (подвиги).

सः । वि॒द्वान् । अ॒प॒ऽगो॒हम् । क॒नीना॑म् । आ॒विः । भव॑न् । उत् । अ॒ति॒ष्ठ॒त् । प॒रा॒ऽवृक् । प्रति॑ । श्रो॒णः । स्था॒त् । वि । अ॒नक् । अ॒च॒ष्ट॒ । सोम॑स्य । ता । मदे॑ । इन्द्रः॑ । च॒का॒र॒ ॥
पुराकिलकन्यकाः चक्षुर्हीनम्पादहीनम्परावृजञ्जिघृक्षुमृषिन्दृष्ट्वाभिदुद्रुवुः ततःसऋषिः इन्द्रं स्तु- त्वाचक्षुःपादञ्चलेभे तदेतदाह सःकनीनाङ्कन्यकानांअपगोहं अपगोहनन्तिरोभावं विद्वान् परावृगृषिः आविर्भवन् सर्वेषाम्प्रत्यक्षोभवन् उदतिष्ठन् श्रोणः पूर्वम्पङ्मुरिदानींइन्द्रस्यप्रसादाद्विभग्नजानुः ताः कन्याः प्रतिस्थात् पूर्वमन्धः अधुनचक्षुर्लाभाद्भ्यचष्ट ताः कन्यकाः विशेषेणपश्यति स्म तानीमानि- कर्माणि सइन्द्रश्चकार ॥ ७ ॥
“Conscious of the disappearance of the damsels, the (ṛṣi) Parivṛj, becoming manifest, stood up; the lame man overtook (them), the blind man beheld (them); in the exhilaration of the Soma, Indra has done these (deeds).”
Knowing the place wherein the maids were hiding, the outcast showed himself and stood before them.
The cripple stood erect, the blind beheld them. These things did Indra in the Soma's rapture.
Knowing the maidens’ concealment (of him but) becoming manifest, he stood up—he who was shunned:
the lame one stood firm; the blind one looked afar. – In soma’s
exhilaration Indra did these things.
Der Krüppel, kennend den Versteck der Mädchen, erhob von dort sich, offenbar sich zeigend; der Lahme ging und deutlich sah der Blinde; im Rausch des Soma hat vollbracht dies Indra.
Er kannte das Versteck der Jungfern; zum Vorschein kommend erhob sich der Aussetzling. Der Lahme stand fest, der Blinde wurde sehend. - Im Rausche des Soma hat das Indra getan.
Он знал место укрытия юных жен.
Показавшись на свет, появился отверженный (ребенок).
Расслабленный крепко встал (на свои ноги), слепой прозрел.
В опьянении сомой Индра совершил эти (подвиги).
भि॒नद्व॒लमङ्गि॑रोभिर्गृणा॒नो वि पर्व॑तस्य दृंहि॒तान्यै॑रत् । रि॒णग्रोधां॑सि कृ॒त्रिमा॑ण्येषां॒ सोम॑स्य॒ ता मद॒ इन्द्र॑श्चकार ॥
भि॒नत् । व॒लम् । अङ्गि॑रःऽभिः । गृ॒णा॒नः । वि । पर्व॑तस्य । दृं॒हि॒तानि॑ । ऐ॒र॒त् । रि॒णक् । रोधां॑सि । कृ॒त्रिमा॑णि । ए॒षा॒म् । सोम॑स्य । ता । मदे॑ । इन्द्रः॑ । च॒का॒र॒ ॥
अङ्गिरोभिर्गृणानः स्तूयमानः सइन्द्रः वलंवलनामकमसुरम्भिनत् अभिनत् तथागवान्निरोधक- स्यपर्वतस्यदृंहितानिशिलाभिर्दृढीकृतानिद्वाराणि व्यैरत् उद्घाटितवान् तदेवाह एषाम्पर्वतानां कृत्रि- माणिक्रिययानिर्वृत्तानिरोधांसिनिरुद्धानिद्वाराणिरिणक् उदघटयत् गतमन्यत् ॥ ८ ॥ अतिमूर्तिनाम्न्येकाहे निष्केवल्येसूक्तमुखीयास्वप्नेनेत्येषा सूत्रितम्—स्वप्नेनाभ्युप्याचुमुरिन्धुनिं- चेतिसूक्तमुखीयेति ।
“Praised by the Aṅgirasas, he destroyed Bala; he forced upon the firm shut (doors) of the mountain; he broke down their artificial defences; in the exhilaration of the Soma, Indra has done these (deeds).”
Praised by the Angirases he slaughtered Vala, and burst apart the bulwarks of the mountain.
He tore away their deftly-built defences. These things did Indra in the Soma's rapture.
Being sung by the Aṅgirases, he split the cave. He broke apart the fortifications of the mountain
and cleared their fashioned obstructions. – In soma’s exhilaration Indra did these things.
Den Vala schlug er mit den Angirasen, und nahm hinweg des Wolkenberges Wehren; Er räumte weg die aufgeworf'nen Wälle; im Rausch des Soma hat vollbracht dies Indra.
Er erbrach den Vala, von den Angiras´ gepriesen; er zersprengte die Festen des Berges, er räumte ihre künstlichen Wälle fort. - Im Rausche des Soma hat das Indra getan.
Он проломил (пещеру) Вала, воспеваемый Ангирасами.
Он взорвал твердыни горы,
Он устранил их искусственные валы.
В опьянении сомой Индра совершил эти (подвиги).
स्वप्ने॑ना॒भ्युप्या॒ चुमु॑रिं॒ धुनिं॑ च ज॒घन्थ॒ दस्युं॒ प्र द॒भीति॑मावः । र॒म्भी चि॒दत्र॑ विविदे॒ हिर॑ण्यं॒ सोम॑स्य॒ ता मद॒ इन्द्र॑श्चकार ॥
स्वप्ने॑न । अ॒भि॒ऽउप्य॑ । चुमु॑रिम् । धुनि॑म् । च॒ । ज॒घन्थ॑ । दस्यु॑म् । प्र । द॒भीति॑म् । आ॒वः॒ । र॒म्भी । चि॒त् । अत्र॑ । वि॒वि॒दे॒ । हिर॑ण्यम् । सोम॑स्य । ता । मदे॑ । इन्द्रः॑ । च॒का॒र॒ ॥
सत्वन्दस्युंसर्वस्योपक्षपयितारञ्चुमुरिन्धुनिञ्च एतन्नामानावसुरौस्वप्नेनदीर्घनिद्रयाअभ्युप्य संयोज्य- जघन्थहतवानसि ततस्ताभ्यांयुध्यमानन्दभीतिंराजर्षिम्प्रावः रक्षितवानसि तथाचमन्त्रवर्णः—त्वन्निद- स्युञ्चुमुरिन्धुनिञ्चास्वापयोदभीतयेसुहन्त्विति । आवः अवतेरक्षणार्थस्यलङिसिपिरूपम् रम्भीचित् वेत्रधारीचास्यदौवारिकः अत्रास्मिन्युद्धेतयोरसुरयोरसुरयोर्हिरण्यन्धनंविविदेलेभे विदॢलाभे स्वरिते- त् तानीमानिकर्माणिसोमस्यमदेसतिचकारेति ॥ ९ ॥
“You have slain the Dasyus Cumuri and Dhuni, having cast them into (profound) sleep; you have protected Dabhīti, while his chamberlain gained in that (contest) the gold (of the asuras); in the exhilaration of the Soma, Indra has done these (deeds).”
Thou, with sleep whelming Cumuri and Dhuni, slewest the Dasyu, keptest safe Dabhiti.
There the staff-bearer found the golden treasure. These things did Indra in the Soma's rapture.
Having scattered sleep on Cumuri and Dhuni, you smashed the Dasyu and helped Dabhīti.
Though leaning on a staff, he found gold there. – In soma’s exhilaration Indra did these things.
In Schlaf versenkend Tschumuri und Dhuni schlugst du den Dämon, halfest dem Dabhiti, Und goldnen Schatz fand da der Krückengänger; im Rausch des Soma hat vollbracht dies Indra.
Den Cumuri und Dhuni hast du in Schlaf versenkt; du hast den Dasyu erschlagen, dem Dabhiti standest du bei. Selbst der Stockträger fand dabei Gold. - Im Rausche des Soma hat das Indra getan.

Ты убил Дасью, помог Дабхити.
Даже старый тогда находил золото.

एषाऋग्व्याख्याता ॥ १० ॥प्रवः सतामितिनवर्चम्पञ्चमंसूक्तङ्गार्त्समदमैन्द्रम् अत्रानुक्रमणिका—प्र्वोनवान्त्यात्रिष्टुबिति नव- मीत्रिष्टुप् शिष्टास्त्रिष्टुबन्तपरिभाषयाजगत्यः तृतीयेपर्यायेच्छावाकशस्त्रेप्रवःसतामितिसूक्तम् अतिरा- त्रेइतिखण्डेसूत्रितम्—प्रवः सताम्प्रोद्रोणेहरयःकर्माग्मन्नितियाज्येति ।
“That opulent donation which proceeds, Indra, from you, assuredly bestows upon him who praises you the boon (that he desires); grant it to (us) your adorers; do not you, who are the object of adoration, disregard our prayers; so that, blessed with worthy descendants, we may glorify you at this sacrifice.”
Now let that wealthy Cow of thine, O Indra , yield in return a boon to him who lauds thee.
Give to thy praisers: let not fortune fail us. Loud may we speak, with brave men, in assembly.
Now should the generous priestly gift yield your boon for the singer as its milk, Indra.
Exert yourself for the praise singers. Let fortune not pass us by. – May we speak loftily at the ritual distribution, in possession of good
heroes.
Wohlan, es locke diese reiche Gabe dir ab, o Indra, was der Sänger wünschet; Den Preisern spende, kürze nicht den Antheil. Lasst laut im Chore bei dem Fest uns singen.
Nun soll diese deine reichliche Lohngabe, o Indra, dem Sänger nach Wunsch ergiebig sein. Suche den Sängern zu nützen; das Glück soll nicht an uns vorübergehen. - Wir möchten das große Wort führen als Meister in der Weisheit.
