ऋषिवामदेवो गौतमः

आ न॑: स्तु॒त उप॒ वाजे॑भिरू॒ती इन्द्र॑ या॒हि हरि॑भिर्मन्दसा॒नः । ति॒रश्चि॑द॒र्यः सव॑ना पु॒रूण्या॑ङ्गू॒षेभि॑र्गृणा॒नः स॒त्यरा॑धाः ॥
आ । नः॒ । स्तु॒तः । उप॑ । वाजे॑भिः । ऊ॒ती । इन्द्र॑ । या॒हि । हरि॑ऽभिः । म॒न्द॒सा॒नः । ति॒रः । चि॒त् । अ॒र्यः । सव॑ना । पु॒रूणि । आ॒ङ्गू॒षेभिः॑ । गृ॒णा॒नः । स॒त्यऽरा॑धाः ॥
हे इन्द्र स्तुतः त्वं वाजेभिः वाजैरन्नैः सह तिरश्चित् प्राप्तानि । ' तिरः सत इति प्राप्तस्य' ( निरु. ३. २० ) इति यास्कः । पुरूणि पूर्णानि सवना सवनानि नः अस्मदीयान् यज्ञान उप प्रति ऊती ऊत्यै नोऽस्माकं रक्षणार्थं हरिभिः अश्वैः आ याहि आगच्छ । कीदृशः । मन्दसानः मोदमानः अर्यः स्वामी आङ्गूषेभिः स्तोत्रैः गृणानः स्तूयमानः सत्यराधाः सत्यधनः ॥
“Honoured with accepted (sacrificial) viands, come, Indra, exulting, with your steeds, to our many rites, for our protection; you who are the lord, glorified by hymns, whose wealth is truth.”
COME, lauded, unto us with powers and succours, O Indra, with thy Tawny Steeds; exulting,
Past even the foeman's manifold libations, glorified with our hymns, true Wealth-bestower.
Praised, o Indra, with your fallow bays drive here right up to us, with prizes and with help, to find exhilaration for yourself;
(drive) even across the many pressings of the stranger, being hymned by songs, as one whose benefit is real.
Komm her zu uns, gepriesner, mit den schnellen zur Hülfe, Indra, lustig mit, den Füchsen, Auch durch des Feindes viele Opferspenden, durch Lobgesang erfreut, o gabenreicher.
Gepriesen komm, Indra, mit deinen Siegesgewinnen und Gunsterweisungen zu uns her, mit den Falben, dich berauschend, an noch so vielen Trankopfern des Nebenbuhlers vorüber, in Lobgesängen gefeiert, mit echter Freigebigkeit.

Приезжай, о Индра, опьяненный (сомой), на буланых конях
Мимо многих выжиманий соперника,
Воспеваемый в похвалах, воодушевленный истинной щедростью.
आ हि ष्मा॒ याति॒ नर्य॑श्चिकि॒त्वान्हू॒यमा॑नः सो॒तृभि॒रुप॑ य॒ज्ञम् । स्वश्वो॒ यो अभी॑रु॒र्मन्य॑मानः सुष्वा॒णेभि॒र्मद॑ति॒ सं ह॑ वी॒रैः ॥
आ । हि । स्म॒ । याति॑ । नर्यः॑ । चि॒कि॒त्वान् । हू॒यमा॑नः । सो॒तृऽभिः॑ । उप॑ । य॒ज्ञम् । सु॒ऽअश्वः॑ । यः । अभी॑रुः । मन्य॑मानः । सु॒ऽस्वा॒णेभिः॑ । मद॑ति । सम् । ह॒ । वी॒रैः ॥
नर्यः नृभ्यो हितः चिकित्वान् सर्वं जानन् सोतृभिः सोममभिषुण्वद्भिर्ऋत्विग्भिः हूयमानः आहूयमान इन्द्रोऽस्मदीयं यज्ञम् उप प्रति आ याति आगच्छतु । हि स्म इति पूरणौ । स्वश्वः शोभनाश्वोपेतः अभीरुः निर्भयशीलः सुस्वानेभिः सुन्वद्भिर्यजमानैः मन्यमानः स्तूयमानः यः इन्द्रः वीरैः शूरैर्मरुद्भिः सह सं मदति ह सह माद्यत्येव। स इन्द्र आगच्छत्विति पूर्वेण संबन्धः ॥
“May Indra, the friend of man, the omniscient, come to the sacrifice when invoked by the offerers of libations; he is possessed of good horses, who is fearless honoured by the effusers of libations, who rejoices with the heroes (the Maruts).”
Man's Friend, to this our sacrifice he cometh marking how he is called by Soma-pressers.
Fearless, and conscious that his Steeds are noble, he joyeth with the Soma-pouring heroes.
For the manly one, ever attentive, drives here, when being called by the pressers to the sacrifice—
he who, with his good horses, thinking himself non-frightening, becomes exhilarated along with the heroes who have pressed the soma.
Schon kommt ja her der tapfere vernehmend, zum Opfer her gerufen von den Pressern, Mit schönen Rossen, furchtlos sich erweisend, mit Männern schwelgt er, die den Soma pressten.
Denn der Mannhafte kommt aufmerksam herbei, wenn er von den Somapressenden zum Opfer gerufen wird, mit schönen Rossen, der für furchtlos gilt und mit den pressenden Männern zusammen zecht.
Ведь приходит мужественный, внимательный,
Когда зовут его выжиматели (сомы) на жертву,
Обладатель прекрасных коней, (тот,) кто, слывя бесстрашным,
Пирует вместе с выжимающими (сому) мужами.
श्रा॒वयेद॑स्य॒ कर्णा॑ वाज॒यध्यै॒ जुष्टा॒मनु॒ प्र दिशं॑ मन्द॒यध्यै॑ । उ॒द्वा॒वृ॒षा॒णो राध॑से॒ तुवि॑ष्मा॒न्कर॑न्न॒ इन्द्र॑: सुती॒र्थाभ॑यं च ॥
श्रा॒वय॑ । इत् । अ॒स्य॒ । कर्णा॑ । वा॒ज॒यध्यै॑ । जुष्टा॑म् । अनु॑ । प्र । दिश॑म् । म॒न्द॒यध्यै॑ । उ॒त्ऽव॒वृ॒षा॒णः । राध॑से । तुवि॑ष्मान् । कर॑त् । नः॒ । इन्द्रः॑ । सु॒ऽती॒र्था । अभ॑यम् । च॒ ॥
हे स्तोतः त्वम् अस्य इन्द्रस्य संबन्धिनौ कर्णा कर्णौ वाजयध्यै इन्द्रं बलिनं कर्तुं जुष्टामनु दिशं सेवितासु सर्वासु दिक्षु प्र मन्दयध्यै प्रकर्षेणेन्द्रं मादयितुं च श्रवय स्तोत्राणि श्रावय । इत् इति पूरणः । उद्ववृषाणः सोमेनोत्सिच्यमानः तुविष्मान् बलवान् इन्द्रः नः अस्माकं राधसे धनार्थं सुतीर्था शोभनानि तीर्थानि अभयं च भयराहित्यं च करत् करोतु ॥
“Let (his worshipper) cause his ears to listen so as to invigorate him (by praise), and to give him plural asure in every acceptable plural ce; and being well moistened with the Soma juice, may the vigorous Indra render the holy plural ces (conducive) to our wealth, and free from danger.”
Make his cars hear, that he may show his vigour and may be joyful in the way he loveth.
May mighty Indra pouring forth in bounty bestow on us good roads and perfect safety;
Cause his ears to hear—to rouse him, to make him reach exhilaration following our pleasing instruction.
Boiling up and over for our benefit, powerful Indra will make
fearlessness and good fords for us.
Mach seine Ohren hörend, dass er lechze, sich zu berauschen nach beliebter Weise; Es schaff' uns Indra Sicherheit und Wohlfahrt, der reichlich strömt zum Schenken, der gewalt'ge,
Mache seine Ohren hellhörig, daß er nach dem Ziel fahre, lenke ihn nach der gewohnten Richtung, daß er sich berausche. Zur Freigebigkeit sich aufraffend soll uns der starke Indra gute Furten und Sicherheit schaffen.
Сделай уши его слышащими для стремления к добыче,
(Направь его) в излюбленную сторону для опьянения!
Возбуждаясь для дарения, сильный Индра
Пусть создаст нам хорошие водные переправы и отсутствие страха!
अच्छा॒ यो गन्ता॒ नाध॑मानमू॒ती इ॒त्था विप्रं॒ हव॑मानं गृ॒णन्त॑म् । उप॒ त्मनि॒ दधा॑नो धु॒र्या॒३॒॑शून्त्स॒हस्रा॑णि श॒तानि॒ वज्र॑बाहुः ॥
अच्छ॑ । यः । गन्ता॑ । नाध॑मानम् । ऊ॒ती । इ॒त्था । विप्र॑म् । हव॑मानम् । गृ॒णन्त॑म् । उप॑ । त्मनि॑ । दधा॑नः । धु॒रि । आ॒शून् । स॒हस्रा॑णि । श॒तानि॑ । वज्र॑ऽबाहुः ॥
वज्रबाहुः वज्रहस्तः यः इन्द्रः त्मनि आत्मनि स्थितानात्मवश्यान् सहस्राणि सहस्रसंख्याकान् शतानि शतसंख्याकान् आशून् शीघ्रगामिनोऽश्वान् धुरि रथवहनप्रदेशे उप दधानः संस्थापयन् ऊती रक्षणार्थं नाधमानं याचमानं विप्रं मेधाविनं हवमानम् आह्वयन्तम् इत्था इत्थमनेन प्रकारेण गृणन्तं स्तुवन्तं यजमानम् अच्छ आभिमुख्येन गन्ता गमनशीलः । भवतीति शेषः । स इन्द्रः सुतीर्थानि अभयं च करोत्विति पूर्वेण संबन्धः ॥
“(That Indra), who repairs to the suppliant or (his) protection, to the sage in this manner invoking and praising him; he who, armed with the thunderbolt, plural ces, of his own accord, hundred and thousands of swift-going (horses) in the shafts (of their cars).”
He who with succour comes to his implorer, the singer here who with his song invites him;
He who himself sets to the pole swift Coursers, he who hath hundreds, thousands, Thunder-wielder.
He who will come here with his help to a man in distress, to an inspired poet who calls and hymns just so—
the mace-bearer putting his swift (horses) to the chariot-pole in person— hundreds and thousands (of them).
Der zu dem flehnden hülfereich herbeikommt zum Sänger, der ihn ernstlich ruft und preiset, Anschirrend selbst die Schnellen an die Deichsel, den Blitz im Arm, die hunderttausend Rosse.
Der zu dem Schutzbedürftigen mit seiner Hilfe kommt, zu dem darum rufenden und preisenden Redner, indem er selbst die Renner an die Deichsel legt, die Tausende, Hunderte, mit der Keule im Arm.
(Он тот,) кто приходит с поддержками к нуждающемуся в помощи,
К вдохновенному, который поэтому зовет (его и) воспевает,
(Индра) с ваджрой в руке, сам впрягающий в дышло
Быстрых коней – тысячи, сотни.
त्वोता॑सो मघवन्निन्द्र॒ विप्रा॑ व॒यं ते॑ स्याम सू॒रयो॑ गृ॒णन्त॑: । भे॒जा॒नासो॑ बृ॒हद्दि॑वस्य रा॒य आ॑का॒य्य॑स्य दा॒वने॑ पुरु॒क्षोः ॥
त्वाऽऊ॑तासः । म॒घ॒ऽव॒न् । इ॒न्द्र॒ । विप्राः॑ । व॒यम् । ते॒ । स्या॒म॒ । सू॒रयः॑ । गृ॒णन्तः॑ । भे॒जा॒नासः॑ । बृ॒हत्ऽदि॑वस्य । रा॒यः । आ॒ऽका॒य्य॑स्य । दा॒वने॑ । पु॒रु॒ऽक्षोः ॥
हे मघवन् धनवन् इन्द्र त्वोतासः त्वया रक्षिताः विप्राः मेधाविनः गृणन्तः त्वां स्तुवन्तः सूरयः स्तोतारः वयं बृहद्दिवस्य महद्दीप्तेः आकाय्यस्य आ समन्तात् स्तुत्यस्य पुरुक्षोः बह्वन्नस्य बहुकीर्तेर्वा ते त्वदीयस्य रायः धनस्य दावने दाने निमित्ते सति भेजानासः त्वां भजमानाः स्याम भवेम ॥ ॥ १८ ॥
“Opulent Indra, may we, who are protectedby you, who are intelligent, devout, and offerers of praise, be participant with you for the sake of distributing brilliant wealth, and abundant food, entitled to (our) commendation.”
O Indra Maghavan, by thee protected may we be thine, princes and priests and singers,
Sharing the riches sent from lofty heaven which yields much food, and all desire its bounty.
Aided by you, bounteous Indra, might we—inspired poets and patrons— hymning (you) be yours,
for your giving of desirable (wealth) consisting of much livestock, as we receive our share of the wealth coming from lofty heaven.
Von dir gefördert, mächt'ger Indra, seien wir Priester dein, die Opferherrn und Sänger, Theilhaft des Reichthums aus dem hohen Himmel, den wünschenswerthen, nahrungsreichen nehmend.
Von dir begünstigt, gabenreicher Indra, möchten wir Redekundigen - Lohnherren und Sänger - deines himmlischen Reichtums teilhaftig werden, zum Verschenken des begehrenswerten, nahrungsreichen ausersehen.
Поддержанные тобой, о щедрый Индра,
Мы, вдохновенные, – покровители жертвы (и) певцы
Хотели бы получить долю в богатстве того, кто пребывает на высоком небе
В желанном, обильном питанием, (предназначенном) для дарения!
