ऋषिवामदेवो गौतमः

इ॒होप॑ यात शवसो नपात॒: सौध॑न्वना ऋभवो॒ माप॑ भूत । अ॒स्मिन्हि व॒: सव॑ने रत्न॒धेयं॒ गम॒न्त्विन्द्र॒मनु॑ वो॒ मदा॑सः ॥
इ॒ह । उप॑ । या॒त॒ । श॒व॒सः॒ । न॒पा॒तः॒ । सौध॑न्वनाः । ऋ॒भ॒वः॒ । मा । अप॑ । भू॒त॒ । अ॒स्मिन् । हि । वः॒ । सव॑ने । र॒त्न॒ऽधेय॑म् । गम॑न्तु । इन्द्र॑म् । अनु॑ । वः॒ । मदा॑सः ॥
हे शवसो नपातः बलस्य पुत्रास्तस्य न पातयितारो वा हे सौधन्वनाः सुधन्वनः पुत्राः हे ऋभवः यूयम् इहोप यात अस्मिन् तृतीयसवने उपगच्छत । माप भूत अपगता न भवत । अस्मिन् सवने रत्नधेयं रमणीयधनस्य दातारम् इन्द्रमनु अनुसृत्य वः युष्मान् मदासः मदकराः सोमाः गमन्तु गच्छन्तु । अन्विति क्रियया वा संबध्यते । इन्द्रं युष्मांश्चान्वागच्छन्तु इत्यर्थः । हि पूरणः ॥
“Come hither, sons of strength, sons of Sudhanvan; Ṛbhus, keep not away; may the exhilarating juices proceed to you at this sacrifice, after the munificent Indra.”
Come hither, O ye Sons of Strength, ye Rbhus; stay not afar, ye Children of Sudhanvan.
At this libation is your gift of treasure. Let gladdening draughts approach you after Indra's.
Travel here, children of strength! Do not keep away, o R̥bhus, sons of Sudhanvan,
for in this pressing the conferring of treasure is yours. Let your
exhilarating draughts follow after Indra.
O kommet her, ihr Söhne des Sudhanvan, ihr kraftentsprossnen, seid nicht fern, o Ribhu's; Denn reiche Spende ist bei diesem Mahl euch; dem Indra möge folgen euer Trinken.
Kommet hierher, ihr Kinder der Stärke, ihr Ribhu´s, Söhne des Sudhanvan, bleibet nicht fern, denn in dieser Trankspende ist eure Belohnung. Nach Indra sollen eure Räusche kommen!
Сюда приходите, о отпрыски силы!
О Рибху, сыновья Судханвана, не оставайтесь в стороне!
Ведь при этом выжимании (происходит) раздача ваших сокровищ.
Пусть ваши опьяняющие соки направятся за Индрой!

आ । अ॒ग॒न् । ऋ॒भू॒णाम् । इ॒ह । र॒त्न॒ऽधेय॑म् । अभू॑त् । सोम॑स्य । सुऽसु॑तस्य । पी॒तिः । सु॒ऽकृ॒त्यया॑ । यत् । सु॒ऽअ॒प॒स्यया॑ । च॒ । एक॑म् । वि॒ऽच॒क्र । च॒म॒सम् । च॒तुः॒ऽधा ॥
ऋभूणां युष्माकम् इह तृतीयसवने रत्नधेयं रत्नदानम् आगन् आगच्छतु मह्यम् । यद्वा । युष्माकमेव सोमाख्यं रत्नमागन्। यस्मात् सोमस्य सुषुतस्य पीतिः पानम् अभूत् प्रजापतिना लब्धमित्यर्थः । तदपि कुत इति चेत् । उच्यते । यत् यस्मात् सुकृत्यया शोभनहस्तव्यापारेण स्वपस्यया शोभनरथनिर्माणादिकर्मेच्छया च एकं सन्तं चमसं चतुर्धा विचक्र कृतवन्तः ॥
“The munificene of the Ṛbhus come to me on this occasion, (since) there has been the drinking of the effused Soma, in consequence of one ladle having been made fourfold by their dexterous and excellent work.”
Hither is come the Rbhus' gift of riches; here was the drinking of the well-pressed Soma,
Since by dexterity and skill as craftsmen ye made the single chalice to be fourfold
The R̥bhus’ conferring of treasure has come here; the drinking of well-pressed soma has become (yours),
since by your good work and your good labor you divided the single cup fourfold.
Es kam hierher der Ribhu's reiche Spende; des schöngepressten Soma's Trunk erfolgte, Als sie durch, schöne That und kunstreich Wirken aus einer Schale vier der Becher machten.
Nunmehr ist die Belohnung der Ribhu´s an der Reihe, es gibt vom wohlgepreßten Soma zu trinken, da ihr mit Geschicklichkeit und Kunstfertigkeit den einen Becher vervierfacht habt.
Пришла сюда раздача сокровищ Рибху,
Началось питье прекрасно выжатого сомы,
Потому что благодаря вашему прекрасному трудолюбию и мастерству
Вы сделали из одного кубка четыре.
व्य॑कृणोत चम॒सं च॑तु॒र्धा सखे॒ वि शि॒क्षेत्य॑ब्रवीत । अथै॑त वाजा अ॒मृत॑स्य॒ पन्थां॑ ग॒णं दे॒वाना॑मृभवः सुहस्ताः ॥
वि । अ॒कृ॒णो॒त॒ । च॒म॒सम् । च॒तुः॒ऽधा । सखे॑ । वि । शि॒क्ष॒ । इति॑ । अ॒ब्र॒वी॒त॒ । अथ॑ । ऐ॒त॒ । वा॒जाः॒ । अ॒मृत॑स्य । पन्था॑म् । ग॒णम् । दे॒वाना॑म् । ऋ॒भ॒वः॒ । सु॒ऽह॒स्ताः॒ ॥
हे ऋभवो यूयं चमसं चतुर्धा व्यकृणोत व्यकुरुत । कृत्वा च हे सखे हे सखिभूताग्ने वि शिक्ष अनुगृहाण सोमपानम् इत्यब्रवीत अवदत यूयम् । अथ सोऽग्निर्युष्मानवादीत् खलु । किमिति । हे वाजाः ऋभवः सुहस्ताः कुशलहस्ता यूयम् अमृतस्य अमरणधर्मकस्य स्वर्गस्य पन्थां पन्थानम् ऐत गच्छत । किं तदमृतमिति । देवानाम् इन्द्रादीनां गणं संघातमैत ॥
“You have made the ladle fourfold, and have said (to Agni), assent (to the division); therefore have you gone, Vājas, the path of the immortals; dexterous-handed Ṛbhus (you have joined) the company of the gods.”
Ye made fourfold the chalice that wag single: ye spake these words and said, O Friend, assist us;
Then, Vajas! gained the path of life eternal, deft-handed Rbhus, to the Gods' assembly.
You divided the cup fourfold; you said, “O companion, work to cut it apart!”
Then, o Vājas, you went along the path of the immortality to the throng of gods, o R̥bhus of skilled hands.
Vier Becher machtet ihr aus einer Schale, »sei hülfreich uns, Genosse«, also spracht ihr, Dann gingt ihr Vadscha's auf den Pfad des Ew'gen zur Götterschar, ihr kunstgeübten Ribhu's.
Ihr habt den Becher vervierfacht. "Freund, probiere", so sprachet ihr. Darauf ginget ihr Vaja´s den Weg der Unsterblichkeit unter das Gefolge der Götter, ihr handfertigen Ribhu´s.

Друг, попробуй! – сказали вы.
Затем отправились вы, о Ваджи, путем бессмертия,
К толпе богов, о Рибху прекраснорукие.
कि॒म्मय॑: स्विच्चम॒स ए॒ष आ॑स॒ यं काव्ये॑न च॒तुरो॑ विच॒क्र । अथा॑ सुनुध्वं॒ सव॑नं॒ मदा॑य पा॒त ऋ॑भवो॒ मधु॑नः सो॒म्यस्य॑ ॥
कि॒म्ऽमयः॑ । स्वि॒त् । च॒म॒सः । ए॒षः । आ॒स॒ । यम् । काव्ये॑न । च॒तुरः॑ । वि॒ऽच॒क्र । अथ॑ । सु॒नु॒ध्व॒म् । सव॑नम् । मदा॑य । पा॒त । ऋ॒भ॒वः॒ । मधु॑नः । सो॒म्यस्य॑ ॥
किंमयः स्वित् किमात्मकः एषः चमसः आस । स्वित् प्रश्ने । यं चमसमेकं सन्तं काव्येन कवीनां मेधाविनां संबन्धिना कर्मणा कौशलेन चतुरो विचक्र कृतवन्तः । अथ अधुना सवनम् । सूयते इति सवनः सोमः । तं मदाय हर्षाय सुनुध्वं हे ऋत्विजः । हे ऋभवः यूयं च सोम्यस्य सोमसंबन्धिनं मधुनः मधुररसं पात पिबत ॥
“What sort of ladle was that which by skill you have made four? now pour forth the Soma for their exhilaration; drink, Ṛbhus, of the sweet Soma libation.”
Out of what substance was that chalice fashioned which ye made fourfold by your art and wisdom?
Now for the gladdening draught press out the liquor, and drink, O Rbhus, of die meath of Soma.
Of what was this cup made, which you divided into four by your artistry? Now then press the soma-pressing for your exhilaration; drink of the soma-honey, o R̥bhus!
Woraus bestand doch dieser eine Becher, aus dem ihr vier gebildet habt mit Weisheit? Nun keltert euch den Soma jetzt zum Rausche, und trinkt, o Ribhu's, von dem süssen Safte.
Aus welchem Stoff war denn jener Becher, den ihr mit Weisheit vervierfacht habt? Nun presset euch die Trankspende zum Rausche! Trinket, Ribhu´s, von dem somischen Met!
Из чего же был этот кубок,
Из которого вы сделали четыре силой поэтического искусства?
Так выжимайте выжимание (сомы) для опьянения!
Пейте, о Рибху, сладость сомы!
शच्या॑कर्त पि॒तरा॒ युवा॑ना॒ शच्या॑कर्त चम॒सं दे॑व॒पान॑म् । शच्या॒ हरी॒ धनु॑तरावतष्टेन्द्र॒वाहा॑वृभवो वाजरत्नाः ॥
शच्या॑ । अ॒क॒र्त॒ । पि॒तरा॑ । युवा॑ना । शच्या॑ । अ॒क॒र्त॒ । च॒म॒सम् । दे॒व॒ऽपान॑म् । शच्या॑ । हरी॒ इति॑ । धनु॑ऽतरौ । अ॒त॒ष्ट॒ । इ॒न्द्र॒ऽवाहौ॑ । ऋ॒भ॒वः॒ । वा॒ज॒ऽर॒त्नाः॒ ॥
हे वाजरत्नाः रमणीयसोमान्ना हे ऋभवः यूयं शच्या कर्मणा पितरा मातापितरौ । युवाना युवानो अकर्त अकुरुत । तथा शच्या चमसं देवपानं देवपानार्हम् अकर्त चतुर्धाकुरुतेत्यर्थः। शच्या हरी अश्वौ अतष्ट तक्षणेन संपादितवन्तः । कीदृशौ हरी । धनुतरौ शीघ्रं गन्तृतरौ इन्द्रवाहौ इन्द्रवोढारौ ॥ ॥ ५ ॥
“By your (marvellous) deeds you have made your parents youg; by your deeds you have made the ladle (fit) for the drinking of the gods; by your deeds you have made the two horses, the bearers of Indra, swifter than (an arrow from) a bow, Ṛbhus, who are rich in (sacrificial) food.”
Ye with your cunning made your Parents youthful; the cup, for Gods to drink, ye formed with cunning;
With cunning, Rbhus, rich in treasure, fashioned the two swift Tawny Steeds who carry Indra.
By your ability you have made your parents to be young; by your ability you have made the cup from which the gods drink.
By your ability you fashioned the two swift-running fallow bays that convey Indra, o R̥bhus whose treasure is victory’s prize.
Durch Kunst habt jung gemacht ihr eure Aeltern, durch Kunst gemacht den gottgetrunknen Becher, Durch Kunst das schnelle Füchsepaar gebildet, das fährt den Indra, güterreiche Ribhu's.
Mit Kunst habt ihr die Eltern jung gemacht, mit Kunst zimmertet ihr die beiden Falben, die besten Läufer, die Zugtiere des Indra, ihr reichbelohnten Ribhu´s.
(Своею) силой вы сделали родителей юными,
(Своею) силой вы сделали кубок для питья богов,
(Своею) силой вытесали пару быстрых коней,
Возящих Индру, о Рибху, награждающие сокровищами.
यो व॑: सु॒नोत्य॑भिपि॒त्वे अह्नां॑ ती॒व्रं वा॑जास॒: सव॑नं॒ मदा॑य । तस्मै॑ र॒यिमृ॑भव॒: सर्व॑वीर॒मा त॑क्षत वृषणो मन्दसा॒नाः ॥
यः । वः॒ । सु॒नोति॑ । अ॒भि॒ऽपि॒त्वे । अह्ना॑म् । ती॒व्रम् । वा॒जा॒सः॒ । सव॑नम् । मदा॑य । तस्मै॑ । र॒यिम् । ऋ॒भ॒वः॒ । सर्व॑ऽवीरम् । आ । ता॒क्ष॒त॒ । वृ॒ष॒णः॒ । म॒न्द॒सा॒नाः ॥
हे ऋभवः वाजासः अन्नवन्तः वः युष्मभ्यं यः यजमानः अह्नाम् अभिपित्वे अभिपतने। तृतीयसवने इत्यर्थः । तस्मिन् तीव्रं रसवत्तरं सवनम् । सूयते इति सवनः सोमः । तं मदाय सुनोति तस्मै सर्ववीरं बहुपुत्रोपेतं रयिं धनं हे वृषणः फलवर्षितारः मन्दसानाः मोदमानाः सन्तः आ तक्षत संपादयतेत्यर्थः ॥
“Distributors of food, Ṛbhus, showerers (of benefits), exhilarated (by the Soma draught), fabricated wealth, comprising all posterity for him who pours out for your exhilaration, the acrid libation at the deline of day.”
Whoso pours out for you, when days are closing, the sharp libation for your joy, O Vajas,
For him, O mighty Rbhus, ye, rejoicing, have fashioned wealth with plenteous store of heroes.
Who presses for you in the evening of the day the sharp pressing for exhilaration, o Vājas,
for him, o R̥bhus, fashion wealth that consist of hale heroes since you find exhilaration, o bulls.
Wer euch, o Vadscha's, bei des Tages Sinken den scharfen Soma zur Berauschung keltert, Dem schaffet Reichthum her sammt allen Helden, vom Trunk erfreut, o Ribhu's, muntre Stiere.
Wer euch, wenn die Tage zur Rüste gehen, die scharfe Trankspende zum Rausche preßt, ihr Vaja´s, dem stellet, ihr Ribhu´s, einen Schatz von lauter Söhnen her, euch berauschend, ihr Bullen!
Кто выжимает для вас (сому) в конце дней (жертвоприношения),
Резкий выжатый сок для опьянения, о Ваджи,
Тому, опьяняясь (сомой), вытешите богатство,
Состоящее из здоровых мужей, о Рибху мужественные!
प्रा॒तः सु॒तम॑पिबो हर्यश्व॒ माध्यं॑दिनं॒ सव॑नं॒ केव॑लं ते । समृ॒भुभि॑: पिबस्व रत्न॒धेभि॒: सखीँ॒र्याँ इ॑न्द्र चकृ॒षे सु॑कृ॒त्या ॥
प्रा॒तरिति॑ । सु॒तम् । अ॒पि॒बः॒ । ह॒रि॒ऽअ॒श्व॒ । माध्य॑न्दिनम् । सव॑नम् । केव॑लम् । ते॒ । सम् । ऋ॒भुऽभिः॑ । पि॒ब॒स्व॒ । र॒त्न॒ऽधेभिः॑ । सखी॑न् । यान् । इ॒न्द्र॒ । च॒कृ॒षे । सु॒ऽकृ॒त्या ॥
हे हर्यश्व हरितवर्णाश्वोपेतेन्द्र प्रातः प्रातःसवने सुतम् अभिषुतं सोमम् अपिबः पिबस्व । माध्यंदिनं सवनं केवलं ते परं तवैव नान्येषाम् । सवनद्वयस्य पृथगभिधानात्तृतीयसवनं परिशिष्यते । तृतीयसवने रत्नधेभिः रमणीयदानैः ऋभुभिः सं पिबस्व । हे इन्द्र यान् ऋभून् सुकृत्या शोभनकर्मणा सखीन् चकृषे अकरोः ॥
“Drink, lord of horses, Indra, the libation offered at dawn; the noon-day libation is alone for you; but (in the evening) drink with the munificent Ṛbhus, whom, Indra, you have made your friends by good deeds.”
Lord of Bay Steeds, at dawn thejuice thou drankest: thine, only thine, is the noonday libation.
Now drink thou with the wealth-bestowing Rbhus, whom for their skill thou madest friends, O Indra.
In the early morning you drank the pressed soma, o you with the fallow bays [=Indra]; the Midday Pressing is yours alone.
Drink together with the treasure-conferring R̥bhus, whom you made your companions by their good work.
Früh morgens trankst du Soma, Füchselenker, die Mittagsspende, die war ganz dein eigen, Nun trinke mit den schatzverleihnden Ribhu's, die du durch Wohlthun, Indra, dir verbandest.
Am Morgen trankest du Falbenlenker den ausgepreßten Soma, die mittägliche Somaspende gehört dir allein. Trink zusammen mit den Belohnung bringenden Ribhu´s, die du, o Indra, wegen Kunstfertigkeit zu deinen Freunden gemacht hast.
Рано утром ты напился выжатого (сомы), о обладатель буланых коней,
Полуденное выжимание – только твое.
Пей вместе с Рибху, наделяющими сокровищами,
(С теми,) кого, о Индра, ты сделал (своими) друзьями за (их) прекрасное трудолюбие!
ये दे॒वासो॒ अभ॑वता सुकृ॒त्या श्ये॒ना इ॒वेदधि॑ दि॒वि नि॑षे॒द । ते रत्नं॑ धात शवसो नपात॒: सौध॑न्वना॒ अभ॑वता॒मृता॑सः ॥
ये । दे॒वासः॑ । अभ॑वत । सु॒ऽकृ॒त्या । श्ये॒नाःऽइ॑व । इत् । अधि॑ । दि॒वि । नि॒ऽसे॒द । ते । रत्न॑म् । धा॒त॒ । श॒व॒सः॒ । न॒पा॒तः॒ । सौध॑न्वनाः । अभ॑वत । अ॒मृता॑सः ॥
हे ऋभवः ये यूयं सुकृत्या शोभनकर्मणा देवासः देवाः अभवत अभूत । श्येनाइवेत् शंसनीयगतयो गृध्रविशेषा इव दिवि द्युलोके अधि निषेद अधिनिषण्णाः हे शवसो नपातः बलवन्तः ते यूयं रत्नं धनं धात प्रयच्छत । हे सौधन्वनाः सुधन्वनः पुत्राः अमृतासः अमृता देवाः अभवत ॥
“Do you, sons of strength, who have become gods by (your) good deeds, soaring aloft in the sky like falcons, bestow upon us riches; sons of Sudhanvan, you have become immortals.”
Ye, whom your artist skill hath raised to Godhead have set you down above in heaven like falcons.
So give us riches, Children of Sudhanvan, O Sons of Strength; ye have become immortal.
You who became gods by your good work—settle down upon heaven like falcons!
Confer treasure, o children of strength! O sons of Sudhanvan, you
became immortal.
Die ihr durch gute Werke Götter wurdet, und euch wie Adler in dem Himmel setztet, ihr gebt uns Schätze, o ihr kraftgebornen, unsterblich wurdet ihr Sudhanvansöhne.
Die ihr Götter wurdet durch eure Kunstfertigkeit und wie Adler im Nest im Himmel euch niedergelassen habt, ihr sollt Belohnungen bringen, ihr Kinder der Stärke! Ihr Sudhanvansöhne werdet unsterblich.
Те, что стали богами за (свое) прекрасное трудолюбие,
(И) уселись на небе, словно орлы (в гнезде),
Вы должны дать сокровище, о отпрыски силы!
О сыновья Судханваны, вы стали бессмертными!
यत्तृ॒तीयं॒ सव॑नं रत्न॒धेय॒मकृ॑णुध्वं स्वप॒स्या सु॑हस्ताः । तदृ॑भव॒: परि॑षिक्तं व ए॒तत्सं मदे॑भिरिन्द्रि॒येभि॑: पिबध्वम् ॥
यत् । तृ॒तीय॑म् । सव॑नम् । र॒त्न॒ऽधेय॑म् । अकृ॑णुध्वम् । सु॒ऽअ॒प॒स्या । सु॒ऽह॒स्ताः॒ । तत् । ऋ॒भ॒वः॒ । परि॑ऽसिक्तम् । वः॒ । ए॒तत् । सम् । मदे॑भिः । इ॒न्द्रि॒येभिः॑ । पि॒ब॒ध्व॒म् ॥
हे सुहस्ताः शोभनहस्ताः ऋभवः रत्नधेयं रमणीयसोमदानवत् यत्तृतीयं सवनम् अकृणुध्वं प्रसाधितवन्तः । स्वपस्या शोभनकर्मेच्छया तत् एतत् सवनं सवनगतं सोमद्रव्यं परिषिक्तं परिषेचनवत् वः युष्माकं संबन्धिभिः मदेभिः माद्यद्भिः इन्द्रियेभिः इन्द्रियैः सं पिबध्वम् । यद्यपि वदनमेव पानसाधनं तथापि चक्षुःश्रोत्रादीनामपि दर्शनश्रवणादिना तृप्तिसद्भावात् पातृत्वमुपचर्यते ॥ ॥ ६ ॥
“Dexterous-handed, since you have instrumental tuted, through desire of good works, the third sacrifice, which is the bestower of wealth, therefore, Ṛbhus, drink this effused Soma with exhilarated senseṣ ”
The third libation, that bestoweth treasure, which ye have won by skill, ye dexterous-handed,-
This drink hath been effused for you, O Rbhus . drink it with high delight, with joy like Indra's.
The Third Pressing, the conferring of treasure, which you made by your good labor, o you of skillful hands,
that is poured all around here for you, o R̥bhus. Drink it along with the exhilarating draughts belonging to Indra!
Das dritte Mahl, die reiche Spende, die ihr, kunstreiche, euch erwarbt durch schöne Werke, Die ist, o Ribhu's, hier euch rings ergossen, die trinkt gemeinsam mit des Indra Rauschtrunk.
Die dritte Somaspende, die ihr euch als Belohnung verdient habt durch eure Geschicklichkeit, ihr Handfertige, die ist euch, Ribhu´s, eingeschenkt. Trinkt zusammen mit den indrischen Räuschen!
Третье выжимание, которое вы себе сделали
Раздачей сокровищ благодаря своему прекрасному трудолюбию, о прекраснорукие,
Этот (сома) налит для вас, о Рибху:
Пейте его вместе с опьяняющими соками, предназначенными для Индры!
