ऋषिवामदेवो गौतमः

वि॒हि होत्रा॒ अवी॑ता॒ विपो॒ न रायो॑ अ॒र्यः । वाय॒वा च॒न्द्रेण॒ रथे॑न या॒हि सु॒तस्य॑ पी॒तये॑ ॥
वि॒हि । होत्रा॑ । अवी॑ताः । विपः॑ । न । रायः॑ । अ॒र्यः । वायो॒ इति॑ । आ । च॒न्द्रेणे॑ । रथे॑न । या॒हि । सु॒तस्य॑ । पी॒तये॑ ॥
हे वायो विहि वीहि भक्षय । होत्राः होमसाधिकाः सोमाहुतीः अवीताः अन्यैः पूर्वमभक्षिताः विपो न शत्रूणां वेपयिता राजेव। किंच अर्यः स्तोतुर्मम रायः धनानि । संपादयेति शेषः । हे वायो 'चन्द्रेण आह्लादकेन रथेन आ याहि सुतस्य सोमस्य पीतये पानाय ॥
“Drink, Vāyu, the oblations yet untested, like (a prince) the terrifier of foes; (bestow) upon the worshipper wealth; come with your brilliant car to drink the Soma juice.”
TASTE offerings never tasted yet, as bards enjoy the foeman's wealth.
O Vayu, on refulgent car come to the drinking of the juice.
Pursue the invocations not (yet) pursued, just as “the riches of the stranger” [=the poets of the Āryas] pursue poetic inspirations.
– O Vāyu, drive here with your glittering chariot, to drink of the pressed (soma).
Zu unberührten Opfern komm, gleich Reisern spriess des Frommen Gut; Auf lichtem Wagen komme her, o Vaju, zu des Saftes Trunk.
Hab nach den Opfergaben Verlangen; unverlangt seien Reichtümer wie die Redekünste des Nebenbuhlers. Komm, Vayu, auf schimmerndem Wagen zum Trunke des Soma!

निः॒ऽयु॒वा॒नः । अश॑स्तीः । नि॒युत्वा॑न् । इन्द्र॑ऽसारथिः । वायो॒ इति॑ । आ । च॒न्द्रेणे॑ । रथे॑न । या॒हि । सु॒तस्य॑ । पी॒तये॑ ॥
हे वायो त्वम् अशस्तीः अभिशस्तीः निर्युवाणः निःशेषेण नियोजयन् नियुत्वान् नियुत्संज्ञकाश्ववान् इन्द्रसारथिः इन्द्रसहायः सन् आ याहि ॥
“Vāyu, who are the represser of calumnies, who are drawn by the Niyuts, and have Indra for your charioteer come with your brilliant car to drink the Soma juice.”
Removing curses, drawn by teams, with Indra, seated by thy side,
O Vayu, on refulgent car come to the drinking of the juice.
Taking taunts out of harness, (but yourself) provided with a team, with Indra as charioteer,
o Vāyu, drive here with your glittering chariot, to drink of the pressed (soma).
Verjagend die Verwünschenden mit Indra fahrend, vielbespannt, Auf lichtem Wagen komme her, o Vaju, zu des Saftes Trunk.
Die Afterreden abwendend, mit den Niyutgespannen und mit Indra als Wagenlenker komm, Vayu, auf schimmerndem Wagen zum Trunke des Soma!

अनु॑ । कृ॒ष्णे । वसु॑धिती॒ इति॒ वसु॑ऽधिती । ये॒माते॒ इति॑ । वि॒श्वऽपे॑शसा । वायो॒ इति॑ । आ । च॒न्द्रेणे॑ । रथे॑न । या॒हि । सु॒तस्य॑ । पी॒तये॑ ॥
कृष्णे कृष्णवर्णे वसुधिती वसूनां धात्र्यौ विश्वपेशसा विश्वरूपे द्यावापृथिव्यौ त्वाम् अनु येमाते अनुगच्छतः ॥
“The dark nurses of wealth, the universal forms (heaven and earth), attend upon you; come Vāyu with your brilliant car to drink the Soma juice.”
The two dark treasuries of wealth that wear
all beauties wait on thee.
O Vayu, on refulgent car come to the drinking of the juice.
The two black treasure chambers [=Night and Dawn], with all their ornaments, have directed themselves after each other in turn.
– O Vāyu, drive here with your glittering chariot, to drink of the pressed (soma).
Die dunkeln, allgestaltigen Schatzkammern beide folgen nach; Auf lichtem Wagen komme her, o Vaju, zu des Saftes Trunk.
Die beiden Schatzhalterinnen, die schwarze Nacht und die helle Usas, die allfarbigen haben sich darnach gerichtet. Komm, Vayu, auf schimmerndem Wagen zum Trunke des Soma!

Покрытые всеми украшениями, последовали (за тобой).

वह॑न्तु । त्वा॒ । म॒नः॒ऽयुजः॑ । यु॒क्तासः॑ । न॒व॒तिः । नव॑ । वायो॒ इति॑ । आ । च॒न्द्रेणे॑ । रथे॑न । या॒हि । सु॒तस्य॑ । पी॒तये॑ ॥
हे वायो त्वा त्वां मनोयुजः मनःसमानगतयः युक्तासः परस्परसंयुक्ताः नवतिर्नव नवोत्तरनवतिसंख्याका अश्वाः वहन्तु धारयन्तु ॥
“May the ninety-nine steeds harnessed together, that are as swift as thought, convey you; come, Vāyu, with your brilliant car, to drink the Soma juice.”
May nine-and-ninety harnessed steeds who yoke them at thy will bring thee.
O Vayu, on refulgent car come to the drinking of the juice.
Let the ones with mind as yoke, the ninety-nine yoked ones, convey you. – O Vāyu, drive here with your glittering chariot, to drink of the pressed (soma).
Lass neunundneunzig fahren dich geschirrte, folgend deinem Wink, Auf lichtem Wagen komme her, o Vaju, zu des Saftes Trunk.
Es sollen dich die neunundneunzig Gespanne fahren, die durch den bloßen Gedanken geschirrt sind. Komm, Vayu, auf schimmerndem Wagen zum Trunke des Soma!
Да привезут тебя запряженные (одной) мыслью
Девяносто девять запряженных (коней)!

वायो॑ श॒तं हरी॑णां यु॒वस्व॒ पोष्या॑णाम् । उ॒त वा॑ ते सह॒स्रिणो॒ रथ॒ आ या॑तु॒ पाज॑सा ॥
वायो॒ इति॑ । श॒तम् । हरी॑णाम् । यु॒वस्व॑ । पोष्या॑णाम् । उ॒त । वा॒ । ते॒ । स॒ह॒स्रिणः॑ । रथः॑ । आ । या॒तु॒ । पाज॑सा ॥
हे वायो त्वं पोष्याणां पोषणीयानां हरीणां शतं युवस्व योजय रथे। उत वा अपि च ते सहस्रिणः सहस्रसंख्यापूरका अश्वाः । तैर्युक्तः रथः पाजसा बलेन आ यातु आगच्छतु ॥ ॥ २४ ॥
“Harness, Vāyu, a hundred plural mp steeds, or even a thousand, and let your chariot come with rapidity (hither).”
Harness, O Vayu, to thy car a hundred well-fed tawny steeds,
Yea, or a thousand steeds, and let thy chariot come to us with might.
O Vāyu, hitch up a hundred flourishing fallow bays,
or, since you have thousands, let your chariot drive here with its (full) dimension.
Vaju, schirre dir hundert wohlgenährte goldgelbe Rosse au, oder auch mit tausenden bespannt komme dein Wagen her mit Macht.
Vayu! Spann hundert wohlgenährte Falben an, oder, da du tausend Falben hast, soll der Wagen in voller Gestalt kommen.
О Ваю, запрягай сто
Буланых цветущих коней!
Или же, раз у тебя (их) тысяча,
Пусть приедет колесница в полную силу!
