त्री रो॑च॒ना व॑रुण॒ त्रीँरु॒त द्यून्त्रीणि॑ मित्र धारयथो॒ रजां॑सि । वा॒वृ॒धा॒नाव॒मतिं॑ क्ष॒त्रिय॒स्यानु॑ व्र॒तं रक्ष॑माणावजु॒र्यम् ॥
त्री । रो॒च॒ना । व॒रु॒ण॒ । त्रीन् । उ॒त । द्यून् । त्रीणि॑ । मि॒त्र॒ । धा॒र॒य॒थः॒ । रजां॑सि । व॒वृ॒धा॒नौ । अ॒मति॑म् । क्ष॒त्रिय॑स्य । अनु॑ । व्र॒तम् । रक्ष॑माणौ । अ॒जु॒र्यम् ॥
हे वरुण हे मित्र युवां त्री त्रीणि रोचना रोचनानि द्युलोकान् धारयथ इति संबन्धः । उत अपि च त्रीन् द्यून् द्योतमानानन्तरिक्षलोकान् धारयथः । तथा त्रीणि रजांसि भूलोकान् । कीदृशौ युवाम् । वावृधानौ वर्धमानौ क्षत्रियस्य । क्षत्रं बलम् । तद्वत इन्द्रस्य । यद्वा । क्षत्रियजातीयस्य यजमानस्य अमतिम् । रूपनामैतत् । रूपं व्रतं कर्म च अजुर्यम् अजीर्णमविरतं वा रक्षमाणौ ॥
“Mitra and Varuṇa, you uphold the three realms of light, the three heavens, the three regions (of the earth), augmenting the force of the vigorous (indra) and protecting the imperishable rite.”
THREE spheres of light, O Varuna, three heavens, three firmaments ye comprehend, O Mitra:
Waxed strong, ye keep the splendour of dominion, guarding the Ordinance that lasts for ever.
The three realms of light and the three heavens, the three airy spaces do you two uphold, o Varuṇa and Mitra,
strengthening the emblem of your lordship, protecting your unaging commandment.
Drei Aetherräume, Varuna, drei Himmel, drei Luftgebiete haltet fest ihr, Mitra; Vermehrend eurer Herrschaft mächt'ges Walten, der Satzung nach das Götterreich bewahrend.
Die drei Lichträume und die drei Himmel, die drei Lufträume erhaltet ihr, Mitra und Varuna, die Herrschererscheinung erhöhend, über das unverwelkliche Gesetz wachend.
Три светлых пространства, о Варуна, а также три неба,
Вы поддерживаете, о Митра, три (воздушных) пространства,
Усиливаясь по образу властителя,
Охраняя нестареющий завет.
इरा॑वतीर्वरुण धे॒नवो॑ वां॒ मधु॑मद्वां॒ सिन्ध॑वो मित्र दुह्रे । त्रय॑स्तस्थुर्वृष॒भास॑स्तिसृ॒णां धि॒षणा॑नां रेतो॒धा वि द्यु॒मन्त॑: ॥
इरा॑ऽवतीः । व॒रु॒ण॒ । धे॒नवः॑ । वा॒म् । मधु॑ऽमत् । वा॒म् । सिन्ध॑वः । मि॒त्र॒ । दु॒ह्रे॒ । त्रयः॑ । त॒स्थुः॒ । वृ॒ष॒भासः॑ । ति॒सॄ॒णाम् । धि॒षणा॑नाम् । रे॒तः॒ऽधाः । वि । द्यु॒ऽमन्तः॑ ॥
हे वरुण हे मित्र वां युवयोराज्ञया धेनवः गावः इरावतीः । इरा क्षीरलक्षणा। तद्वत्यो भवन्ति । तथा सिन्धवः स्यन्दनशीला मेघा नद्यो वा मधुमत् मधुररसमुदकं दुहे दुहन्ति । तथा त्रयः त्रिसंख्याकाः वृषभासः वर्षितारः रेतोधाः उदकस्य धारकाः द्युमन्तः दीप्तिमन्तोऽग्निवाय्वादित्याः तिसॄणां त्रिसंख्याकानां धिषणानां स्थानानां पृथिव्यन्तरिक्षद्युलोकानां स्वामिनः सन्तः वि विविधं प्रत्येकं तस्थुः तिष्ठन्ति । युवयोरनुग्रहात् त्रयोऽपि देवास्त्रिषु स्थानेषु वर्तन्ते इत्यर्थः ॥
“Mitra and Varuṇa, the cows are full o fmilk through your (command), and the rivers yield through your (will) sweet water; through you the three radiant receptacles and showerers of rain stand severally in their three spheres.”
Ye, Varuna, have kine who yield refreshment; Mitra, your floods pour water full of sweetness.
There stand the Three Steers, splendid in their brightness, who fill the three world-bowls with genial moisture.
O Varuṇa and Mitra, your milk-cows are filled with refreshments. Your rivers give honey-rich milk.
Three brilliant bulls [=fires?] stand far and wide, the semen-givers of the three holy places.
Voll Labung sind, Varuna, eure Kühe, und Süsses milchen, Mitra, eure Ströme; Drei Stiere stehen der drei Weltenschalen vertheilt, voll Glanz, die ihren Samen lassen.
Eure Milchkühe sind labungsreich, o Varuna, eure Ströme geben süße Milch, o Mitra. Drei herrliche Stiere stehen als die Besamer der drei Dhisana´s verteilt.
Ваши дойные коровы, о Варуна, богаты жертвенными возлияниями;
Ваши реки, о Митра, доятся медом.
Стоят трое быков – влагателей семени
В трех мирах, ярко сверкая.
प्रा॒तर्दे॒वीमदि॑तिं जोहवीमि म॒ध्यंदि॑न॒ उदि॑ता॒ सूर्य॑स्य । रा॒ये मि॑त्रावरुणा स॒र्वता॒तेळे॑ तो॒काय॒ तन॑याय॒ शं योः ॥
प्रा॒तः । दे॒वीम् । अदि॑तिम् । जो॒ह॒वी॒मि॒ । म॒ध्यन्दि॑ने । उत्ऽइ॑ता । सूर्य॑स्य । रा॒ये । मि॒त्रा॒व॒रु॒णा॒ । स॒र्वऽता॑ता । ईळे॑ । तो॒काय॑ । तन॑याय । शम् । योः ॥
अहमृषिः प्रातः प्रातःकाले अदितिम् अखण्डनीयां देवानां जननीं देवीं द्योतमानां जोहवीमि आह्वयामि । तथा मध्यंदिने सूर्यस्य उदिता उदितौ तत्समृद्धिकाले माध्यंदिने सवने जोहवीमि । हे मित्रावरुणा युवां राये धनप्राप्तये सर्वतातौ यज्ञे ईळे स्तौमि । पुनः किमर्थम् । तोकाय पुत्राय तनयाय तत्पुत्राय च शम् अरिष्टशमनाय योः सुखस्य मिश्रणाय चेळे इति ॥
“I invoke the divine and bright Aditi at dawn, and at mid-day, when the sun is high; I worship you, Mitra and Varuṇa, at all seasons, for the sake of riches, for sons and grandsons, for prosperity and happiness.”
I call at dawn on Aditi the Goddess, I call at noon and when the Sun is setting.
I pray, O Mitra-Varuna, for safety, for wealth and progeny, in rest and trouble.
In the early morning, at midday, and at the rising of the sun, again and again I call upon the goddess Aditi
for wealth in its entirety, o Mitra and Varuṇa. I invoke (her) for kith and kin, for luck and life.

Ich ruf' die Göttin Aditi am Morgen, zur Mittagszeit und bei der Sonne Weggang, Um Gut und Wohlfahrt, Varuna und Mitra; um Kind und Enkel, Heil und Segen fleh ich.
Am Morgen rufe ich die Göttin Aditi, am Mittag, bei Sonnenaufgang, um Reichtum euch vollzählig, Mitra und Varuna; ich flehe um Glück und Segen für den leiblichen Samen.
Утром громко зову я богиню Адити,
В полдень (и) на восходе солнца.
Для полноты богатства, о Митра-Варуна,
Я призываю (вас), для продолжения рода, для счастья и блага.
या ध॒र्तारा॒ रज॑सो रोच॒नस्यो॒तादि॒त्या दि॒व्या पार्थि॑वस्य । न वां॑ दे॒वा अ॒मृता॒ आ मि॑नन्ति व्र॒तानि॑ मित्रावरुणा ध्रु॒वाणि॑ ॥
या । ध॒र्तारा॑ । रज॑सः । रो॒च॒नस्य॑ । उ॒त । आ॒दि॒त्या । दि॒व्या । पार्थि॑वस्य । न । वा॒म् । दे॒वाः । अ॒मृताः॑ । आ । मि॒न॒न्ति॒ । व्र॒तानि॑ । मि॒त्रा॒व॒रु॒णा॒ । ध्रु॒वाणि॑ ॥
या यौ रोचनस्य रोचमानस्य रजसः लोकस्य । स्वर्गाख्यस्येत्यर्थः । उत अपि च पार्थिवस्थ रजसः या यौ धर्तारौ आदित्या अदितेः पुत्रौ दिव्या दिवि भवौ तौ युवामीळे इति पूर्वत्र संबन्धः । हे मित्रावरुणा वां युवयोः ध्रुवाणि व्रतानि कर्माणि देवाः अन्ये इन्द्रादयः अमृताः अमरणधर्माणोऽपि न आ मिनन्ति न हिंसन्ति । यतो ध्रुवाण्यत इत्यभिप्रायः ॥ ॥ ७ ॥
“I worship you two, divine Ādityas, who are upholders of the celestial and terrestrial worlds; the immortal gods impair not, Mitra and Varuṇa, your eternal works.”
Ye who uphold the region, sphere of brightness, ye who support earth's realm Divine Adityas,
The Immortal Gods, O Varuna and Mitra, never impair your everlasting statutes.
(You) two heavenly Ādityas, who are the upholders of the earthly space and the realm of light—
o Mitra and Varuṇa, the immortal gods do not violate your enduring commandments.
Die ihr des Aethers und des Luftraums Träger des Erdraums seid, o himmlische Aditja's, Die Götter selbst verletzen eure festen Gesetze nicht, o Varuna und Mitra.
Die ihr, die himmlischen Aditisöhne, die Erhalter der Lichtwelt und der irdischen Welt seid, eure feststehenden Gebote beeinträchtigen nicht die unsterblichen Götter, o Mitra und Varuna.
Те двое, что поддерживают светлое пространство,
А также земное, небесные Адитьи, –
Бессмертные боги не нарушают ваших
Твердых заветов, о Митра-Варуна.
