देवताअश्विनौ (गर्भस्राविण्युपनिषत्)

अश्वि॑ना॒वेह ग॑च्छतं॒ नास॑त्या॒ मा वि वे॑नतम् । हं॒सावि॑व पतत॒मा सु॒ताँ उप॑ ॥
अश्वि॑नौ । आ । इ॒ह । ग॒च्छ॒त॒म् । नास॑त्या । मा । वि । वे॒न॒त॒म् । हं॒सौऽइ॑व । प॒त॒त॒म् । आ । सु॒तान् । उप॑ ॥
हे अश्विनौ इह अस्मिन् यागे आ गच्छतम् । हे नासत्या मा वि वेनतम् । वेनतिः कान्तिकर्मा । मा विकामौ भवतम् । निःस्पृहावकामौ वा न भवतमित्यर्थः । हंसाविव तौ यथा निर्मलोदकमागच्छतस्तद्वत् सुतान् अभिषुतान् सोमान् उप आ पततम् उपागच्छतम् ॥
“Aśvins, come hither; Nāsatyas, be not ill-disposed; alight like two swans upon the effused libations.”
YE Asvins, hither come to us: Nasatyas, be not disinclined.
Fly hither like two swans unto the juice we shed.
O Aśvins, come here! O Nāsatyas, do not lose the track!
– Like wild geese, fly here to the soma-pressings.
O Ritter, kommet her zu uns, entzieht euch nicht, wahrhaftige; So wie zwei Schwäne fliegt zu unsern Tränken her.
Asvin! Kommet hierher! Nasatya´s, wendet euren Blick nicht ab! Gleich Gänsen flieget zum Somasaft!
О Ашвины, приезжайте сюда!
О Насатьи, не отворачивайтесь!
Прилетайте, как два лебедя, к выжатым (сокам сомы)!
अश्वि॑ना हरि॒णावि॑व गौ॒रावि॒वानु॒ यव॑सम् । हं॒सावि॑व पतत॒मा सु॒ताँ उप॑ ॥
अश्वि॑ना । ह॒रि॒णौऽइ॑व । गौ॒रौऽइ॑व । अनु॑ । यव॑सम् । हं॒सौऽइ॑व । प॒त॒त॒म् । आ । सु॒तान् । उप॑ ॥
हे अश्विनौ हरिणाविव गौराविव गौरमृगाविव च । ती यथा यवसं घासम् अनु धावतः ताविव हंसाविव च सोममागच्छतम् ॥
“Like two deer, Aśvins, like two wild cattle on (fresh) pasture; like two swans alight upon the effused libation.”
O Asvins, like a pair of deer, like two wild cattle to the mead:
Fly hither like two swans unto the juice we shed.
O Aśvins, like antelopes, like buffaloes searching after pasturage, like wild geese, fly here to the soma-pressings.
O Ritter, wie zwei Rehe kommt, wie Büffel, die zur Weide gehn, So wie zwei Schwäne fliegt zu unsern Tränken her.
Asvin! Wie Gazellen, wie Büffel zur Weide, gleich Gänsen flieget zum Somasaft!
О Ашвины, как две газели,
Как два буйвола на пастбище,
Прилетайте, как два лебедя, к выжатым (сокам сомы)!
अश्वि॑ना वाजिनीवसू जु॒षेथां॑ य॒ज्ञमि॒ष्टये॑ । हं॒सावि॑व पतत॒मा सु॒ताँ उप॑ ॥
अश्वि॑ना । वा॒जि॒नी॒व॒सू॒ इति॑ वाजिनीऽवसू । जु॒षेथा॑म् । य॒ज्ञम् । इ॒ष्टये॑ । हं॒सौऽइ॑व । प॒त॒त॒म् । आ । सु॒तान् । उप॑ ॥
हे वाजिनीवसू अन्नार्थं वासयितारौ अश्विना यज्ञम् अस्मदीयम् इष्टये अभीष्टायैषणाय वा जुषेथा सेवेथाम् ॥
“Aśvins, affluent in food, be propitiated at your plural asure by the sacrifice; alight like two swans uon the effused libation.”
O Asvins rich in gifts, accept our sacrifice to prosper it:
Fly hither like two swans unto the juice we shed.
O Aśvins, whose goods are prizewinners, take pleasure in our sacrifice to your liking.
– Like wild geese, fly here to the soma-pressings.
O gabenreiche Ritter ihr, empfangt das Opfer zum Genuss; So wie zwei Schwäne fliegt zu unsern Tränken her.
Asvin, lohnreiche! Findet an meinem Opfer Wohlgefallen, um gern zu kommen! Gleich Gänsen flieget zum Somasaft!
О Ашвины, богатые наградой,
Наслаждайтесь (нашей) жертвой, чтоб охотно приходить (и дальше)!
Прилетайте, как два лебедя, к выжатым (сокам сомы)!
अत्रि॒र्यद्वा॑मव॒रोह॑न्नृ॒बीस॒मजो॑हवी॒न्नाध॑मानेव॒ योषा॑ । श्ये॒नस्य॑ चि॒ज्जव॑सा॒ नूत॑ने॒नाग॑च्छतमश्विना॒ शंत॑मेन ॥
अत्रिः॑ । यत् । वा॒म् । अ॒व॒ऽरोह॑न् । ऋ॒बीस॑म् । अजो॑हवीत् । नाध॑मानाऽइव । योषा॑ । श्ये॒नस्य॑ । चि॒त् । जव॑सा । नूत॑नेन । आ । अ॒ग॒च्छ॒त॒म् । अ॒श्वि॒ना॒ । शम्ऽत॑मेन ॥
अत्रिः अस्मत्पिता यत् यदा वां युवाम् अजोहवीत् अस्तौषीत् नाधमाना याचमाना योषा योषिदिव । सा यथा पतिं प्रीणयति तद्वत् कुर्वन् ऋबीसं तुषाग्निमग्निकुण्डे क्षिप्तः सन् अवरोहन विमुञ्चन् अजोहवीत् । श्येनस्य चिज्जवसा श्येनस्य गरुत्मत इव वेगेन । चिदित्युपमार्थे । अथवा श्येनस्य जवसा वेगेन नूतनेन प्रथमोत्पनेन सततं गच्छतः श्येनस्य प्रथमजवेन शंतमेन अस्माकं सुखतमेन च रथेन तं रक्षितुम् आगच्छतं हे अश्विना ॥ ॥ १९ ॥
“Inasmuch as Atri, escaping by your aid from the fire of chaff, conciliates you, like a wife soliciting the affection of a husband, therefore come with (your) propitious cars; with the new-born rapidity of the falcon.”
As Atri when descending to the cavem called on you loudly like a wailing woman.
Ye came to him, O Asvins, with the freshest and most auspicious fleetness of a falcon.
As when Atri, sinking down into the earth cleft, called upon you again and again, like a young woman in need (at childbirth),
now by the very speed of a falcon, come here, Aśvins, with your most luck-bringing (help).
Als Atri euch, zur Erdkluft niedersteigend, wie eine Gattin, Hülfe suchend anrief, da kamt ihr mit des Edelaares Schnelle, o Ritter, mit der neusten, segensreichen.
Als Atri in den Glutofen hinabstieg und euch anrief wie eine Frau in Kindesnöten, da kamet ihr Asvin mit des Falken frischer, glückbringendster Eile herbei.
Когда Атри, проваливаясь в яму,
Громко взывал к вам, как ищущая защиты женщина,
Вы примчались, о Ашвины, с сиюминутной
Скоростью сокола, больше всех приносящей счастье.
वि जि॑हीष्व वनस्पते॒ योनि॒: सूष्य॑न्त्या इव । श्रु॒तं मे॑ अश्विना॒ हवं॑ स॒प्तव॑ध्रिं च मुञ्चतम् ॥
वि । जि॒ही॒ष्व॒ । व॒न॒स्प॒ते॒ । योनिः॑ । सूष्य॑न्त्याःऽइव । श्रु॒तम् । मे॒ । अ॒श्वि॒ना॒ । हव॑म् । स॒प्तऽव॑ध्रिम् । च॒ । मु॒ञ्च॒त॒म् ॥
हे वनस्पते वनस्पतिविकाररूपे पेटिके वि जिहीष्व विगच्छ । विवृता भव । सूष्यन्त्याइव प्रसवोन्मुख्याः स्त्रियाः योनिः इव भगो यथा विव्रियते तथा त्वमपि विवृता भव । तदर्थं हे अश्विना अश्विनौ मे हवम् आह्वानं श्रुतं शृणुतम् । श्रुत्वा च सप्तवध्रिं च मामृषिं मुञ्चतं मोचयतम् ॥
“Open, Vanaspati, like the womb of parturient feminine le; hear, Aśvins, my invocation; set Saptavadhri free.”
Tree, part asunder like the side of her who bringeth forth a child.
Ye Asvins, listen to my call: loose Saptavadhri from his bonds.
O tree, spread apart, like the womb of a woman about to give birth. Hear my call, Aśvins, and free Saptavadhri.
Thu auseinander dich, o Block, gleichwie der Schooss der kreissenden; O Ritter, höret meinen Ruf, den Saptavadhri machet los.
Tu dich auf, o Baum, wie der Schoß der Kreisenden! Höret, ihr Asvin, meinen Ruf und befreiet den Saptavadhri!
Разверзнись, о дерево,
Словно лоно собирающейся родить!
Услышьте, о Ашвины, мой зов
И освободите Саптавадхри!
भी॒ताय॒ नाध॑मानाय॒ ऋष॑ये स॒प्तव॑ध्रये । मा॒याभि॑रश्विना यु॒वं वृ॒क्षं सं च॒ वि चा॑चथः ॥
भी॒ताय॑ । नाध॑मानाय । ऋष॑ये । स॒प्तऽव॑ध्रये । मा॒याभिः॑ । अ॒श्वि॒ना॒ । यु॒वम् । वृ॒क्षम् । सम् । च॒ । वि । च॒ । अ॒च॒थः॒ ॥
भीताय निर्गमात् बिभ्युषे नाधमानाय विमोक्षं याचमानाय सप्तवध्रये ऋषये हे अश्विना अश्विनौ युवं युवां मायाभिः वृक्षं वृक्षविकारां पेटिकां सं चाचथः मम निर्गमार्थं संगच्छथः । वि अचथः च विभक्तं कुरुथः ॥
“Aśvins, by your devices sunder the wicker-work for (the liberation of the) terrified, imploring Ṛṣi, Saptavadhri.”
For Saptavadhri, for the seer affrighted when he wept and wafled,
Ye, Asvins, with your magic powers rent up the tree and shattered it.
For the seer Saptavadhri, who is fearful and in need,
o Aśvins, you bend the tree together and apart by your cunning.
Dem fürchtenden, dem flehenden, dem Dichter Saptavadhri biegt Mit Zauberkunst, o Ritter ihr, den Baum zurecht und löset ihn.
Dem geängstigten, in Not befindlichen Rishi Saptavadhri klemmet ihr Asvin durch Zauberkünste den Baum auf und zu.

Защемляете и расщемляете дерево.
यथा॒ वात॑: पुष्क॒रिणीं॑ समि॒ङ्गय॑ति स॒र्वत॑: । ए॒वा ते॒ गर्भ॑ एजतु नि॒रैतु॒ दश॑मास्यः ॥
यथा॑ । वातः॑ । पु॒ष्क॒रिणी॑म् । स॒म्ऽइ॒ङ्गय॑ति । स॒र्वतः॑ । ए॒व । ते॒ । गर्भः॑ । ए॒ज॒तु॒ । निः॒ऽऐतु॑ । दश॑ऽमास्यः ॥
एतदादि ऋक्त्रयं गर्भस्राविण्युपनिषत् । एतदाद्यृक्त्रयेणासौ सप्तवध्रिः स्वयोषितः । गर्भिण्याः प्रसवायाशु स्तुतवानश्विनावृषिः । यथा वातः पुष्करिणीं सरआदिकं सर्वतः समिङ्गयति सम्यक् चालयति एव एवं तव गर्भः एजतु कम्पताम्' इतस्ततः संचरतु । दशमास्यः दश मासान् गर्भे स्थितः निरैतु निर्गच्छतु ॥
“As the wind ruffles the lake on every side, so may your womb be stimulated, and the conception of the months come forth.”
Like as the wind on every side ruffles a pool of lotuses,
So stir in thee the babe unborn, so may the ten-month babe descend.
As the wind sways a lotus-pond in every direction,
so let your unborn child stir. Let him in his tenth month come out.
Gleichwie der Wind den Lotusteich zu Wogen aufregt überall so reg' sich deine Leibesfrucht die zehnmondliche geh hervor.
Wie der Wind allerwärts den Lotusteich bewegt, so soll sich deine Leibesfrucht regen, sie soll zehn Monate alt herauskommen.
Как ветер повсюду
Колеблет пруд с лотосами,
Так пусть шевелится твой плод!
Пусть он выйдет десятимесячным!
यथा॒ वातो॒ यथा॒ वनं॒ यथा॑ समु॒द्र एज॑ति । ए॒वा त्वं द॑शमास्य स॒हावे॑हि ज॒रायु॑णा ॥
यथा॑ । वातः॑ । यथा॑ । वन॑म् । यथा॑ । स॒मु॒द्रः । एज॑ति । ए॒व । त्वम् । द॒श॒ऽमा॒स्य॒ । स॒ह । अव॑ । इ॒हि॒ । ज॒रायु॑णा ॥
वातोयथाकम्पमानोवनङ्कम्पयतिस्वयं ॥ यथासमुद्रश्चलतिचाल्यतेवाथवायुना ॥ १ ॥ स्थित्वादशैवमासांस्त्वङ्गर्भोल्बेनसुवेष्टितः ॥ निर्गच्छजठारान्मातुर्जरायुयुजआपत ॥ २ ॥ ८ ॥
“As the wind, as the wood, as the ocean are agitated, so do you, gestation of ten months, invested with the uterine membranes, descend.”
Like as the wind, like as the wood, like as the sea is set astir,
So also, ten-month babe, descend together with the after-birth.
As the wind, as the forest, as the ocean stirs,
so you in your tenth month—descend together with the afterbirth.
Wie sich der Wind, wie sich der Wald, wie sich das Meer in Wogen regt, so du auch zehnmonatliche, geh mit der Eihaut du hervor.
Wie sich der Wind, wie der Wald, wie das Meer bewegt, so geh du Zehnmonatskind samt der Nachgeburt ab!

Так выходи ты, о десятимесячный,

दश॒ मासा॑ञ्छशया॒नः कु॑मा॒रो अधि॑ मा॒तरि॑ । नि॒रैतु॑ जी॒वो अक्ष॑तो जी॒वो जीव॑न्त्या॒ अधि॑ ॥
दश॑ । मासा॑न् । श॒श॒या॒नः । कु॒मा॒रः । अधि॑ । मा॒तरि॑ । निः॒ऽऐतु॑ । जी॒वः । अक्ष॑तः । जी॒वः । जीव॑न्त्या । अधि॑ ॥
दशमासानुषित्वासौजननीजठरेसुखं ॥ निर्गच्छतुसुखञ्जीवोजननीचापिजीवतु ॥ १ ॥ ९ ॥महेनोअद्येतिदशर्चंसप्तमंसूक्तं आत्रेयस्यसत्यश्रवसस्यार्षं पाङ्क्तमुषस्यं अनुक्रम्यतेच-महेदशसत्यश्रवाउषस्यन्तुपाङ्क्तमिति । प्रात- रनुवाकेउषस्येक्रतौपाङ्क्तेछन्दसिआश्विनशस्त्रेचेदंसूक्तं सूत्र्यतेहि-महेनोअद्येतिपाङ्क्तमिति ।
“May the boy who has reposed for ten months in the bosom of his mother come forth, alive, unharmed, living, from a living (parent).”
The child who hath for ten months' time been lying in his mother's side,-
May he come forth alive, unharmed, yea, livingfrorn the living dame.
Having lain for ten months within his mother, let the boy
come out, alive and unharmed—alive from his living mother.
Zehn Monde lag die junge Frucht im Mutterleibe hingestreckt; sie gehe unverletzt hervor lebendig aus der lebenden.
Nachdem der Knabe zehn Monate in der Mutter gelegen hat, soll er lebendig, unversehrt, lebendig aus der Lebenden herauskommen!

В матери, пусть мальчик
Выйдет живой (и) невредимый,
Живой из живущей!
