अहे॑ळमान॒ उप॑ याहि य॒ज्ञं तुभ्यं॑ पवन्त॒ इन्द॑वः सु॒तास॑: । गावो॒ न व॑ज्रि॒न्त्स्वमोको॒ अच्छेन्द्रा ग॑हि प्रथ॒मो य॒ज्ञिया॑नाम् ॥
अहे॑ळमानः । उप॑ । या॒हि॒ । य॒ज्ञम् । तुभ्य॑म् । प॒व॒न्ते॒ । इन्द॑वः । सु॒तासः॑ । गावः॑ । न । वा॒ज्रि॒न् । स्वम् । ओकः॑ । अच्छ॑ । इन्द्र॑ । आ । ग॒हि॒ । प्र॒थ॒मः । य॒ज्ञिया॑नाम् ॥
हे इन्द्र अहेळमानः अक्रुध्यंस्त्वं यज्ञम् अस्मदीयम् उप याहि उपगच्छ । यतः कारणात तुभ्यं त्वदर्थ सुतासः अभिषुता: इन्दवः सोमा: पवन्ते पूयन्ते दशपवित्रेण शोध्यन्ते । हे वज्रिन् वज्रवन् इन्द्र गावो न गावः स्वकीयं गोष्ठमिव स्वं स्वकीय ओकः स्थानं द्रोणकलशादिलक्षणम् अच्छ आभिमुख्येन प्राप्नुवन्तीति शेषः । अतः कारणात् हे इन्द्र यज्ञियानां यज्ञार्हाणां देवानां मध्ये प्रथमः मुख्यत्वं आ गहि आगच्छ ॥
“Unirascible (Indra), come to the sacrifice; the effused Soma is purified for you; they flow, thunderer, (into the pitchers), as cows go to their stalls; come, Indra, the first of those who are to be worshipped.”
COME gracious to our sacrifice, O Indra: pressed Soma-drops are purified to please thee.
As cattle seek their home, so Thunderwielder, come, Indra, first of those who claim our worship.
Free of anger, drive here to the sacrifice. For you do the pressed soma drops purify themselves.
Like cows toward their own home, o mace-bearer, come here, Indra, as the first of those worthy of the sacrifice.
Komm ohne Zürnen her zu unserm Opfer; dir strömen hell die ausgepressten Indus; Wie Kühe in ihr Haus, so komm, o Blitzer, o Indra, her, als erster du der heil'gen.
Ohne Murren komm zum Opfer; für dich klären sich die ausgepreßten Säfte. Wie die Rinder zu ihrem Heim, so komm du Keulenträger Indra als Erster der opferwürdigen Götter!

या । ते॒ । का॒कुत् । सुऽकृ॑ता । या । वरि॑ष्ठा । यया॑ । शश्व॑त् । पिब॑सि । मध्वः॑ । ऊ॒र्मिम् । तया॑ । पा॒हि॒ । प्र । ते॒ । अ॒ध्व॒र्युः । अ॒स्था॒त् । सम् । ते॒ । वज्रः॑ । व॒र्त॒ता॒म् । इ॒न्द्र॒ । ग॒व्युः ॥
हे इन्द्र या ते तव काकुत् जिह्वा सुकृता सुष्ठु धात्रा निर्मिता। या च वरिष्ठा उरुतमा विस्तीर्णतमा। यया च मध्वः मधुनः सोमस्य ऊर्मिं रसं शश्वत् बहुकृत्वः पिबसि तया जिह्वयास्मदीयं सोमं पाहि पिब। तदर्थम् अध्वर्युः अध्वरस्य नेता ऋत्विग्गृहीतसोमः सन् प्र अस्थात् हविर्धानादुत्तरवेदिदेशं प्रत्यगमत् । अपि च हे इन्द्र गव्युः शत्रुसंबन्धिनीर्गा आत्मन इच्छन् ते त्वदीयः वज्रः सं वर्ततां शत्रुभिः संगतो भवतु । तान् हन्त्वित्यर्थः ॥
“Drink, Indra, with that well-formed and expanded tongue wherewith you ever quaff the sweet (Soma); before you stands the ministrant priest; let your bolt, Indra, designed (to recover) the cattle, be hurled (against your foes).”
With that well-formed most wide-extending palate, wherewith thou ever drinkest streams of sweetness,
Drink thou; the Adhvaryu standeth up before thee: let thy spoil-winning thunderbolt attend thee.
Your throat, which is well-fashioned, which is the widest, with which you are always drinking the wave of honey,
take a drink with it. The Adhvaryu has set (the soma) forth for you. Let your mace turn itself to the pursuit of cows, Indra.
Welch Schlund dir ist, sehr weit und schön gebildet, mit dem du stets des Methes Welle schlürfest, Mit dem geniesse, vor dir steht der Priester, dein Blitz, o Indra, komme beutelustig.
Dein wohlbeschaffener, geräumigster Schlund, mit dem du immer wieder die Welle des Mets trinkst, mit dem trinke! Der Adhvaryu ist vorgetreten. Deine nach Kühen lüsterne Keule soll mitkommen.
Эта твоя хорошо устроенная глотка, самая обширная,
Которою ты постоянно заглатываешь волну сладости,
Заглатывай ею (и сейчас)! Адхварью выступил вперед для тебя.

ए॒षः । द्र॒प्सः । वृ॒ष॒भः । वि॒श्वऽरू॑पः । इन्द्रा॑य । वृष्णे॑ । सम् । अ॒का॒रि॒ । सोमः॑ । ए॒तम् । पि॒ब॒ । ह॒रि॒ऽवः॒ । स्था॒तः॒ । उ॒ग्र॒ । यस्य॑ । ईशि॑षे । प्र॒ऽदिवि॑ । यः । ते॒ । अन्न॑म् ॥
द्रप्सः द्रवणशील: वृषभः कामानां वर्षिता विश्वरूपः बहुविधरूपोपेत ईदृग्विधः एषः सोमः वृष्णे कामानां वर्षित्रे इन्द्राय इन्द्रस्य पानार्थं समकारि अभिषवादिभिः संस्कृतोऽभूत् । हे हरिवः । हरी अश्वौ । तद्वन् हे स्थातः सर्वेषामधिष्ठातः उग्र उद्गूर्णबलेन्द्र एतम् ईदृशं सोमं पिब । यस्य सोमस्य प्रदिवि । जातावेकवचनम् । प्रभूतेषु दिवसेषु प्रगतेष्वहःसु वा ईशिषे त्वमेवेश्वरो भवसि । यः च सोमः ते तव अन्नम् अन्नत्वेन परिकल्पित एतं पिबेत्यन्वयः ॥
“This dropping, omniform Soma, the showerer (of benefits), has been duly prepared for Indra, the showerer (of rain); lord of steeds, ruler over all, mighty (Indra), drink this over which you have of old pressed, which is your food.”
This drop, steer-strong and omniform, the Soma, hath been made ready for the Bull, for India.
Drink this, Lord of the Bays, thou Strong Supporter, this that is thine of old, thy food for ever.
This drop, the soma, a bull of all colors, has been brought to perfection for bullish Indra.
Drink it, o powerful master of bays, (chariot-)mounter—this of which you are master from of old, which is your food.
Dem Stiere, Indra, ist der Stier, der Tropfen, der vielgestalt'ge Soma zubereitet; Ihn trink, o Herr der Füchse, mächt'ger Lenker, der dein von je war, deine rechte Speise.
Dieser Tropfen, der bunte Bulle, der Soma, ist für den Bullen Indra bereitet. Den trink, Falbenlenker, gewaltiger Wagenfahrer, über den du schon längst verfügst, der deine Speise ist.

Сома приготовлен для Индры-быка.
Пей его, хозяин буланых коней, грозный возница,
(Того,) кем ты владеешь от века, кто пища твоя!

सु॒तः । सोमः॑ । असु॑तात् । इ॒न्द्र॒ । वस्या॑न् । अ॒यम् । श्रेया॑न् । चि॒कि॒तुषे॑ । रणा॑य । ए॒तम् । ति॒ति॒र्वः॒ । उप॑ । या॒हि॒ । य॒ज्ञम् । तेन॑ । विश्वाः॑ । तवि॑षीः । आ । पृ॒ण॒स्व॒ ॥
हे इन्द्र सुतः अभिषुतः अयं सोमः असुतात् अकृताभिषवात् सोमादन्यदीयात् वस्यान् वसीयान् वसुमत्तरः प्रशस्यतरः। तथा चिकितुषे विदुषेऽभिज्ञाय तुभ्यं रणाय रमणीयाय तदर्थं श्रेयान् श्रेष्ठश्च भवति । त्वामतिशयेन रमयितेत्यर्थः। हे तितिर्वः शत्रूणां तरितरिन्द्र यज्ञं यजनसाधनम् एतं सोमम् उप याहि उपागच्छ । तेन च सोमेन विश्वास्तविषीः सर्वाणि बलानि आ पृणस्व आपूरय ॥
“”
Soma when pressed excels the unpressed Soma, better, for one who knows, to give him pleasure.
Come to this sacrifice of ours, O Victor replenish all thy powers with this libation.
Pressed soma is better than unpressed, Indra, and this (soma) here is even better, for the discriminating to enjoy.
Drive here to this sacrifice, you overcomer. Through it fulfill all your powers.
Gebrauter Soma ist, o Indra, besser als ungebrauter, mehr zur Lust dem weisen; Zu diesem Opfer komm herbei, o Sieger, mit ihm erfülle alle deine Kräfte.
Der ausgepreßte Soma ist besser als der ungepreßte, Indra. Dieser ist noch vorzüglicher, dem Kenner gereicht er zur Lust. Zu diesem Opfer komm, du Überwinder. Mit ihm füll alle deine Kräfte auf!
Выжатый сома, о Индра, лучше невыжатого,
Он предпочтительнее знатоку для радостного возбуждения.
Приди, о победитель, к этой жертве!
Восполни ею все (свои) силы!
ह्वया॑मसि॒ त्वेन्द्र॑ याह्य॒र्वाङरं॑ ते॒ सोम॑स्त॒न्वे॑ भवाति । शत॑क्रतो मा॒दय॑स्वा सु॒तेषु॒ प्रास्माँ अ॑व॒ पृत॑नासु॒ प्र वि॒क्षु ॥
ह्वया॑मसि । त्वा॒ । आ । इ॒न्द्र॒ । या॒हि॒ । अ॒र्वाङ् । अर॑म् । ते॒ । सोमः॑ । त॒न्वे॑ । भ॒वा॒ति॒ । शत॑क्रतो॒ इति॒ शत॑ऽक्रतो । मा॒दय॑स्व । सु॒तेषु॑ । प्र । अ॒स्मान् । अ॒व॒ । पृत॑नासु । प्र । वि॒क्षु ॥
हे इन्द्र त्वा त्वां ह्वयामसि आह्वयामः । अतः कारणात् त्वम् अर्वाङ् अस्मदभिमुखः सन् आ याहि आगच्छ । अस्मदीयः सोमः च ते तन्वे तव शरीराय अरं पर्याप्तं भवाति भवतु । त्वदीयं शरीरं यथाभिलाषं, तर्पयत्वित्यर्थः । हे शतक्रतो बहुविधकर्मन्निन्द्र त्वं च सुतेषु अभिषुतेषु अस्मदीयेषु सोमेषु मादयस्व तृप्यस्व । ‘मद तृप्तियोगे'। तदनन्तरं पृतनासु संग्रामेषु अस्मान् प्र अव प्रकर्षेण रक्ष । न केवलं पृतनासु किंतु विक्षु सर्वासु प्रजास्वस्मान् प्र अव प्ररक्ष ॥ ॥१३॥
“We invoke you, Indra, come down; may the Soma be sufficient for (the satisfaction of) your person n; exult Śatakratu with the libations, defend us in combats, and against the people.”
We call on thee, O Indra: come thou hither: sufficient be the Soma for thy body.
Rejoice thee, Satakratu! in the juices guard us in wars, guard us among our people.
We are calling you, Indra: drive nearby. The soma will be fit for
your body.
O you of a hundred resolves, bring yourself to exhilaration on the
pressed (drinks). Further us in battles and among the clans.
Wir rufen dich, o Indra, komm herbei nun; willkommen sei der Soma deinem Leibe, O hundertkräft'ger, an dem Saft berausch dich, in Schlachten hilf uns, hilf uns in den Häusern.
Wir rufen dich, komm herbei, o Indra! Der Soma möge deinem Leib wohl bekommen. Du Ratreicher berausche dich an den Säften, hilf uns in den Kämpfen und zu Hause weiter!
