यस्य॒ त्यच्छम्ब॑रं॒ मदे॒ दिवो॑दासाय र॒न्धय॑: । अ॒यं स सोम॑ इन्द्र ते सु॒तः पिब॑ ॥
यस्य॑ । त्यत् । शम्ब॑रम् । मदे॑ । दिवः॑ऽदासाय । र॒न्धयः॑ । अ॒यम् । सः । सोमः॑ । इ॒न्द्र॒ । ते॒ । सु॒तः । पिब॑ ॥
हे इन्द्र यस्य सोमस्य मदे पानेन जनिते हर्षे सति शम्बरम् असुरं दिवोदासाय रन्धयः अहिंसीः । यद्वा । वशीकृतवानसि । रध्यतिर्वंशगमने ' (निरु, ६. ३२) इति यास्कः । इति क्रियाविशेषणम् । त्यत् तत् प्रसिद्धं यथा भवति तथा अरन्धय इत्यर्थ: । हे इन्द्र सः सोमः ते त्वदर्थं सुतः अभिषुतः अतस्तं पिब ॥
“This Soma, in the exhilaration of which it is known that you have subdued Śambara for (the sake of) Divodāsa, is poured out, Indra, for you; drink.”
IN whose wild joy thou madest once Sambara Divodasa's prey,
This Soma is pressed out for thee, O Indra: drink!
In whose exhilaration you subdued Śambara for Divodāsa—
here is that soma, Indra, pressed for you. Drink!

हे इन्द्र त्वं यस्य सोमस्यावयवभूतं तीव्रसुतम् । तीक्ष्णं सुतमभिषवो यस्य स तीव्रसुतः प्रातःसवनिकः । तं मदं मदकरं सोमरसं मध्यं मध्यंदिनसवनगतम् अन्तं तृतीयसवनगतं च सोमरसं रक्षसे रक्षसि सः अयं सोमः त्वदर्थमभिषुतस्तं पिब इति ॥
“This Soma, the exhilarating draught of which, when fresh effused (at dawn), or at noon, or at the last (or evening worship), you cherish, is poured out, Indra, for you; drink.”
Whose gladdening draught, shed from the points, thou guardest in the midst and end,
This Soma is pressed out for thee, O Indra drink!
Whose sharp-pressed exhilaration, whose middle and end, you guard— here is that soma, Indra, pressed for you. Drink!
Er, dessen scharfen Saft du hegst, den letzten und den mittleren, Der Soma ist gepresst dir, Indra, trinke ihn.
Des scharfgepreßten Rauschtrank, dessen Mitte und Ende du dir wahrest, dieser Soma ist für dich, Indra, gepreßt. Trink!

यस्य सोमस्य मदे मदकरे रसे पीते सति अश्मनः वलासुरेण निहितस्य पर्वतस्य अन्तः मध्ये विद्यमानाः दृब्हाः दृढपिधानाश्च गाः पणिभिरपहृताः अवासृजः वलस्य बन्धनाद्व्यसृजः स सोम इत्यादि गतम् ॥
“This Soma, in the exhilaration of which you have liberated the cattle, firm (fastened) within the rock, is poured out, Indra, for you; drink.”
In whose wild joy thou settest free the kine held fast within the rock,
This Soma is pressed out for thee, O Indra: drink!
In whose exhilaration you set loose from the rock the cows fixed firm within—
here is that soma, Indra, pressed for you. Drink!
In dessen Rausch die Kühe du befreitest, die der Fels urnschloss, Der Soma ist gepresst dir, Indra, trinke ihn.

यस्य॑ । म॒न्दा॒नः । अन्ध॑सः । माघो॑नम् । द॒धि॒षे । शवः॑ । अ॒यम् । सः । सोमः॑ । इ॒न्द्र॒ । ते॒ । सु॒तः । पिब॑ ॥
हे इन्द्र त्वं यस्य अन्धसः सोमलक्षणस्यान्नस्य पानेन’ मन्दानः मन्दमानो हृष्टः सन् माघोनम् ऐन्द्रं शवः असाधारणं बलं दधिषे धारयसि । येन सोमेन तवेन्द्रत्वं जातमित्यर्थः । सः अयं सोमः सुतः अभिषुतस्तं पिब ॥ ॥ १५ ॥ ॥ ३ ॥
“This Soma, exhilarated (by drinking) of which (sacrificial) food you possessed the might of Maghavan, is poured out, Indra, for you; drink.”
This, in whose juice delighting thou gainest the might of Maghavan,
This Soma is pressed out for thee, O Indra drink!
Finding exhilaration in whose stalk, you acquire the capacity for generosity—
here is that soma, Indra, pressed for you. Drink!
