श्नथ॑द्वृ॒त्रमु॒त स॑नोति॒ वाज॒मिन्द्रा॒ यो अ॒ग्नी सहु॑री सप॒र्यात् । इ॒र॒ज्यन्ता॑ वस॒व्य॑स्य॒ भूरे॒: सह॑स्तमा॒ सह॑सा वाज॒यन्ता॑ ॥
श्नथ॑त् । वृ॒त्रम् । उ॒त । स॒नो॒ति॒ । वाज॑म् । इन्द्रा॑ । यः । अ॒ग्नी इति॑ । सहु॑री॒ इति॑ । स॒प॒र्यात् । इ॒र॒ज्यन्ता॑ । व॒स॒व्य॑स्य । भूरेः॒ । सहः॑ऽतमा॑ । सह॑सा । वा॒ज॒ऽयन्ता॑ ॥
स पुरुषः वृत्रम् आवरकं शत्रुं श्नथत् हिनस्ति । उत अपि च वाजम् अन्नं बलं वा सनोति लभते । यः पुरुषः सहुरी शत्रूणामभिभवितारौ इन्द्राग्नी सपर्यात् परिचरेत् । इतरेतरयोगात् उभयत्र पूर्ववत् द्विवचनम् । कीदृशाविन्द्राग्नी । भूरेः प्रभूतस्य वसव्यस्य वसुसमूहस्य । यद्वा । स्वार्थिको यत् । धनस्य इरज्यन्ता ईशानौ स्वामिनौ । इरज्यतिरैश्वर्यकर्मा। सहसा बलेन सहस्तमा अतिशयेनाभिभवितारौ शत्रूणां वाजयन्ता वाजं हविर्लक्षणमन्नमात्मन इच्छन्तौ ॥ यद्वा । वाजं स्तोतृभ्यो दातव्यमन्नं कामयमानौ ॥।
“He ovecomes his enemy, and acquires food, who worships the victorious Indra and Agni, the lords of infinite opulence, most powerful in strength, desirous of (sacrificial) food.”
HE slays the foe and wins the spoil who worships Indra and Agni, strong and mighty Heroes,
Who rule as Sovrans over ample riches, victorious, showing forth their power in conquest.
He pierces the obstacle and wins the prize who will serve Indra and Agni, the mighty ones
who have control over abundant goods, the two most mighty with their might as they seek the victory prize.
Der schlägt den Feind und der erlanget Beute, der Indra-Agni, die gewalt'gen, ehret, Die über vieles reiche Gut gebieten, die kräftigsten, die überstark an Macht sind.
Der stößt den Feind nieder und gewinnt den Siegespreis, wer Indra und Agni, die Übermächtigem, hochhält, die über großen Reichtum gebieten, die an Macht Mächtigsten, nach dem Siegespreis strebenden.

Кто почитает Индру и Агни победоносных,
Мощно правящих обширным богатством,
Самых сильных силой, обладателей наград.
ता यो॑धिष्टम॒भि गा इ॑न्द्र नू॒नम॒पः स्व॑रु॒षसो॑ अग्न ऊ॒ळ्हाः । दिश॒: स्व॑रु॒षस॑ इन्द्र चि॒त्रा अ॒पो गा अ॑ग्ने युवसे नि॒युत्वा॑न् ॥
ता । यो॒धि॒ष्ट॒म् । अ॒भि । गाः । इ॒न्द्र॒ । नू॒नम् । अ॒पः । स्वः॑ । उ॒षसः॑ । अ॒ग्ने॒ । ऊ॒ळ्हाः । दिशः॑ । स्वः॑ । उ॒षसः॑ । इ॒न्द्र॒ । चि॒त्राः । अ॒पः । गाः । अ॒ग्ने॒ । यु॒व॒से॒ । नि॒युत्वा॑न् ॥
हे इन्द्र हे अग्ने ता तो युवां गाः अपः उदकानि स्वः सूर्यम् उषसः उषःकालान् ऊळ्हाः पणिभिरपहृता एतान् गवादीनभिलक्ष्य योधिष्टम्। तैरसुरैर्युद्धं कृतवन्तौ । नूनम् इति पादपूरणार्थः । हे इन्द्र त्वं दिशः प्राच्याद्याः स्वः सूर्यम् उषसः च चित्राः चायनीयाः अपः उदकानि च गाः च पणिभिरपहृतानेतान् युवसे अनेन लोकेनायोजयः। यद्वा । असुरैरावृतान् दिगादीन् असुरवधेनावरणमपनीय पृथक्कृतवानसीत्यर्थः । हे अग्ने नियुत्वान् नियुद्भिरश्वैर्युक्तः सन् त्वमप्येवमकार्षीरित्यर्थः ॥
“Indra and Agni, verily you have combated for (the recovery of) the cows, the waters, the sun, the dawns that had been carried away (by the asuras); you reunite, Indra (with the world), the quarters of the horizon, the sun, the wonderful waters, the dawns, the cattle and so do you, Agni, who have the Niyut steeds.”
So battle now, O Indra and thou, Agni, for cows and waters, sunlight, stolen Mornings.
Team-borne, thou makest kine thine own, O Agni: thou, Indra, light, Dawns, regions, wondrous waters.
You two, do battle for cows now, o Indra, for the waters, the sun, and the dawns who were carried (away), o Agni.
The quarters, the sun, the brilliant dawns, o Indra—the waters, the cows, do you, o Agni, as teamster hitch up as your team.
Erkämpft euch, Indra-Agni, Kühe, Wasser, die Sonne, die entführten Morgenröthen; Ihr, Indra-Agni, schirrt euch an als Rosse die Räume, Wasser, Sonne, lichte Morgen.
Ihr beide, Indra, Agni, kämpfet auch jetzt für die Rinder, für die Gewässer, die Sonne, die entführten Usas´! Die Weltpole, die Sonne, die buntfarbigen Usas´, o Indra, die Gewässer, die Rinder hältst du fest, o Agni, der Lenker der Niyutgespanne.

आ । वृ॒त्र॒ऽह॒ना॒ । वृ॒त्र॒हऽभिः॑ । शुष्मैः॑ । इन्द्र॑ । या॒तम् । नमः॑ऽभिः । अ॒ग्ने॒ । अ॒र्वाक् । यु॒वम् । राधः॑ऽभिः । अक॑वेभिः । इ॒न्द्र॒ । अग्ने॑ । अ॒स्मे इति॑ । भ॒व॒त॒म् । उ॒त्ऽत॒मेभिः॑ ॥
हे वृत्रहणा वृत्रस्यासुरस्य हन्तारौ हे इन्द्र हे अग्ने वृत्रहभिः वृत्रस्य हन्तृभिः वृत्रहनननिमित्तैः शुष्मैः बलैः नमोभिः अस्मभ्यं दातव्यैरन्नैश्च सार्धम् अर्वाक् अस्मदभिमुखम् आ यातम् आगच्छतम् । हे इन्द्र हे अग्ने युवं युवाम् अकवेभिः अकुत्सितैः महद्भिः उत्तमेभिः उत्कृष्टतमैः राधोभिः धनैः सह अस्मे अस्मासु भवतम् आविर्भवतम् ॥
“Slayers of Vṛtra, Indra and Agni, come down with foe-subduing energies, (to be invigorated) by (our) offerings; be manifest to us, Indra and Agni, with unblameable and most excellent riches.”
With Vrtra-slaying might, Indra and Agni, come, drawn by homage, O ye Vrtra-slayers.
Indra and Agni, show yourselves among us with your supreme and unrestricted bounties.
O you two obstacle-smashers, with your obstacle-smashing tempests, o Indra, drive our direction, o Agni, by reason of our reverences.
You two, with unstinting, highest bounties, o Indra, be here for us,
o Agni.
Mit siegverleihnden Kräften, Feindbesieger, o Indra-Agni, naht euch durch Gebete Mit unverkürzten Gaben, Indra-Agni, und allerhöchsten seid uns gegenwärtig.
Kommet, ihr Feindetöter, mit euren feindetötenden Kräften, Indra und Agni, unter Verbeugung hierher gerufen. Stellet euch beide bei uns ein mit vollkommenen, höchsten Gaben, Indra und Agni!
О два убийцы Вритры, приходите в наши края, (призванные) с поклонениями,
О Индра, с (вашими) убивающими врагов силами, о Агни!
Вы двое с полноценными дарами, о Индра,
О Агни, будьте у нас – с высшими! .
ता हु॑वे॒ ययो॑रि॒दं प॒प्ने विश्वं॑ पु॒रा कृ॒तम् । इ॒न्द्रा॒ग्नी न म॑र्धतः ॥
ता । हु॒वे॒ । ययोः॑ । इ॒दम् । प॒प्ने । विश्व॑म् । पु॒रा । कृ॒तम् । इ॒न्द्रा॒ग्नी इति॑ । न । म॒र्ध॒तः॒ ॥
ता तौ तादृशाविन्द्राग्नी हुवे आह्वये । ययोः इन्द्राग्न्योः पुरा पूर्वस्मिन् काले कृतं विश्वं सर्वम् इदं पूर्वासु ऋक्षु कीर्तितं वीर्यं पप्ने पन्यते ऋषिभिः स्तूयते । ताविन्द्राग्नी हुवे इत्यन्वयः । तौ च इन्द्राग्नी न मर्धतः स्तोतॄन्न हिंस्तः । अतोऽस्मानप्याहूतौ रक्षतामिति भावः । मर्धतिर्हिंसाकर्मा ।
“I invoke those two, the whole of whose deeds of old have been celebrated; Indra and Agni harm us not.”
I call the Twain whose deeds of old have all been famed in ancient days
O Indra-Agni, harm us not.
I call upon these two whose every previous deed is admired.
Indra and Agni do not neglect (us).
Die ruf' ich, deren ganze Welt, die sie geschaffen, herrlich ist, Nie werden Indra-Agni matt.
Die beiden rufe ich, von denen alles das, was sie vormals taten, Anerkennung findet. Indra und Agni lassen nicht im Stich.

उ॒ग्रा वि॑घ॒निना॒ मृध॑ इन्द्रा॒ग्नी ह॑वामहे । ता नो॑ मृळात ई॒दृशे॑ ॥
उ॒ग्रा । वि॒ऽघ॒निना॑ । मृधः॑ । इ॒न्द्रा॒ग्नी इति॑ । ह॒वा॒म॒हे॒ । ता । नः॒ । मृ॒ळा॒तः॒ । ई॒दृशे॑ ॥
उग्रा उग्रौ उद्गूर्णबलावत एव मृधः शत्रून् विघनिना विघनिनौ विशेषेण हतवन्तौ इन्द्राग्नी हवामहे आह्वयामहे । तौ चेन्द्राग्नी ईदृशे अस्मिन् संग्रामे नः अस्मान् मृळातः सुखयताम् । यद्वा । मृळतिरुपदयाकर्मा । नोऽस्माकं मृळातः उपदयां कुरुताम् ॥ ॥ २७ ॥
“We invoke the fierce Indra and Agni, the slayers of enemies; may they give us success in similar warfare.”
The Strong, the scatterers of the foe, Indra and Agni, we invoke;
May they be kind to one like me.
The two strong ones who hew apart the negligent, Indra and Agni, do we call upon.
They will be gracious to such as us.

Die starken, Feind erschlagenden, Indra und Agni rufen wir, Hold sei'n sie solchem Mann wie wir.
Indra und Agni, die Gewaltigen, welche die Verächter zersprengen, rufen wir; die mögen unsereinem barmherzig sein.
Двоих грозных, рассеивающих врагов,
Индру-Агни мы призываем.
Пусть они смилуются над такими, как мы!
ह॒तो वृ॒त्राण्यार्या॑ ह॒तो दासा॑नि॒ सत्प॑ती । ह॒तो विश्वा॒ अप॒ द्विष॑: ॥
ह॒तः । वृ॒त्राणि॑ । आर्या॑ । ह॒तः । दासा॑नि । सत्प॑ती॒ इति॒ सत्ऽप॑ती । ह॒तः । विश्वाः॑ । अप॑ । द्विषः॑ ॥
ताविन्द्राग्नी आर्या आर्यैः कर्मानुष्ठातृभिः कृतानि वृत्राणि उपद्रवजातानि हतः हिंस्तः । तथा सत्पती सतां पालयितारौ इन्द्राग्नी दासानि । दासाः कर्महीनाः शत्रवः । तैः कृतानि चोपद्रवजातानि हतः । अपि च विश्वाः सर्वाः द्विषः द्वेष्ट्रीः शत्रुभूताः प्रजाः अप हतः विनाशयत: । अतोऽस्माकमप्येवमेव कुरुतामिति भावः ॥
“Counteract all oppressions (committed) by the pious; counteract all oppressions (committed) by the impious; protectors of the virtuous, destroy all those who hate us.”
They slay our Arya foes, these Lords of heroes, slay our Dasyu foes
And drive our enemies away.
They smash the Ārya obstacles; they smash those of the Dāsa—the two lords of settlements;
they smash away all hatreds.
Sie schlagen Feinde, arische und fremde, die gewalt'gen Herrn, Sie schlagen alle Hasser fort.
Sie erschlagen die arischen Feinde, sie erschlagen die dasischen als die rechtmäßigen Herren, sie schlagen alle Anfeindungen ab.
Они разбивают арийские препятствия,
Разбивают (препятствия) дасов как два благих господина.

इन्द्रा॑ग्नी यु॒वामि॒मे॒३॒॑ऽभि स्तोमा॑ अनूषत । पिब॑तं शम्भुवा सु॒तम् ॥
इन्द्रा॑ग्नी॒ इति॑ । यु॒वाम् । इ॒मे । अ॒भि । स्तोमाः॑ । अ॒नू॒ष॒त॒ । पिब॑तम् । श॒म्ऽभु॒वा॒ । सु॒तम् ॥
हे इन्द्राग्नी युवामिमे स्तोमाः स्तोतारः अभि अनूषत अभिष्टुवन्ति । हे शंभुवा सुखस्य भावयिताराविन्द्राग्नी सुतम् अभिषुतमस्मदीयं सोमं पिबतम् ॥
“Indra and Agni, these hymns glorify you both; drink, bestowers of happiness, the libation.”
Indra and Agni, these our songs of praise have sounded forth to you:
Ye who bring blessings! drink the juice.
O Indra and Agni, these praises here have roared to you two.
Drink the pressed (soma), you who are luck itself.
Euch, Indra-Agni, jubelten hier diese Lobgesänge zu, Den Soma trinkt, o gütige.
Indra und Agni! Zu euch haben diese Loblieder geschrieen: Trinket den Soma, ihr Wohlwollende!

याः । वा॒म् । सन्ति॑ । पु॒रु॒ऽस्पृहः॑ । नि॒ऽयुतः॑ । दा॒शुषे॑ । न॒रा॒ । इन्द्रा॑ग्नी॒ इति॑ । ताभिः॑ । आ । ग॒त॒म् ॥
हे नरा नेताराविन्द्राग्नी वां युवयोः स्वभूताः पुरुस्पृहः पुरुभिर्बहुभिः स्पृहणीया: दाशुषे हवींषि दत्तवते यजमानार्थमुत्पन्नाः याः नियुतः अश्वाः सन्ति हे इन्द्राग्नी ताभिः नियुद्भिः आ गतम् आगच्छतम् ॥
“Indra and Agni, leaders (of rites), whose Niyut steeds are desired by many, come with them to the donor (of the libation).”
Come, Indra-Agni, with those teams, desired of many, which ye have,
O Heroes, for the worshipper.
Those much-sought-after teams of yours which are for the pious, you superior men,
come here with those, o Indra and Agni.
Mit euren Wagenzügen eilt den vielbegehrten, Männer ihr, Dem Frommen, Indra-Agni, zu.
Eure vielbegehrten Gespanne und Gaben, die ihr Herren für den Opfernden habt, mit denen kommet, Indra und Agni!

ताभिः॑ । आ । ग॒च्छ॒त॒म् । न॒रा॒ । उप॑ । इ॒दम् । सव॑नम् । सु॒तम् । इन्द्रा॑ग्नी॒ इति॑ । सोम॑ऽपीतये ॥
हे नरा नेतारौ इन्द्राग्नी । सूयतेऽभिषूयत इति सवनः सोमः । इदं सवनम् इमं सोमं सुतम् अभिषुतम् उप प्रति । यद्वा । इदं प्रातःसवनमुप अस्मिन् सवने सुतमभिषुतं सोमं प्रति ताभिः नियुद्भिः आ गच्छतम् । किमर्थम् । सोमपीतये तस्य सोमस्य पानार्थम् ॥
“Come with them, leaders (of rites),”
With those to this libation poured, ye Heroes, Indra-Agni, come:
Come ye to drink the Soma juice.
With those come here, you superior men, up to this pressing
pressed here,
o Indra and Agni, for soma-drinking.

Mit denen, Indra-Agni, kommt zu diesem ausgepressten Saft, O Männer, her zum Somatrunk.
Mit denen kommet, ihr Herren, zu diesem ausgepreßten Trankopfer, Indra und Agni, um Soma zu trinken!
Приезжайте на них, о два мужа,
На это жертвоприношение выжатого (сока),

तमी॑ळिष्व॒ यो अ॒र्चिषा॒ वना॒ विश्वा॑ परि॒ष्वज॑त् । कृ॒ष्णा कृ॒णोति॑ जि॒ह्वया॑ ॥
तम् । ई॒ळि॒ष्व॒ । यः । अ॒र्चिषा॑ । वना॑ । विश्वा॑ । प॒रि॒ऽस्वज॑त् । कृ॒ष्णा । कृ॒णोति॑ । जि॒ह्वया॑ ॥
हे स्तोतः तम् अग्निम् ईळिष्व स्तुहि । यः अग्निः अर्चिषा ज्वालारूपेण तेजसा विश्वा सर्वाणि वना अरण्यानि परिष्वजत् परिष्वजति परितो वेष्टयति । यश्च तानि वनानि जिह्वया ज्वालया दग्ध्वा कृष्णा कृष्णवर्णानि कृणोति करोति ॥ ॥ २८ ॥
“Glorify that Agni who envelopes all the forest with flame, who blackens them with (his) tongue.”
Glorify him who compasses all forests with his glowing flame,
And leaves them blackened with his tongue.
Reverently invoke him who with his flame embraces all the trees, who makes them black with his tongue.
Ihn preise, der mit Flammenglut die Hölzer allesammt umarmt, Mit seiner Zunge schwarz sie färbt.
Ihn rufe an, der mit der Flamme alle Bäume umarmt und mit der Zunge schwarz macht.
Того я призываю, кто пламенем
Обнимает все деревья,
Языком делает (их) черными.
य इ॒द्ध आ॒विवा॑सति सु॒म्नमिन्द्र॑स्य॒ मर्त्य॑: । द्यु॒म्नाय॑ सु॒तरा॑ अ॒पः ॥
यः । इ॒द्धे । आ॒ऽविवा॑सति । सु॒म्नम् । इन्द्र॑स्य । मर्त्यः॑ । द्यु॒म्नाय॑ । सु॒ऽतराः॑ । अ॒पः ॥
यः मर्त्यः मनुष्यः इद्धे दीप्तेऽग्नौ सुम्नं सुखकरं हविः इन्द्रस्य इन्द्राय आविवासति परिचरति प्रयच्छति । चतुर्थ्यर्थे षष्ठी । तस्य मर्त्यस्य द्युम्नाय द्योतमानायान्नाय तदर्थं सुतराः सुखेन तरणीयाः अपः उदकानि वृष्ट्यात्मकानि इन्द्रः करोतीति शेषः ॥
“The mortal who presents the gratifying (oblation) to Indra in the kindled (fire), to him (Indra grants) acceptable waters for his sustenance.”
He who gains Indra's bliss with fire enkindled finds an easy way
Over the floods to happiness.
The mortal who, when (the ritual fire) has been kindled, seeks to win the favor of Indra,
(for him Indra makes) the waters easy to cross for brilliance.
Der Sterbliche, der Indra's Huld bei Agni's Flamme sich gewinnt, Der dringt durch Fluten schnell zum Heil.
Welcher Sterbliche bei entflammtem Feuer die Gunst des Indra erbittet, dem machet ihr zum Ruhmglanze die Gewässer leicht überschreitbar.
(Тот) смертный, кто при зажженном (костре)
Стремится завоевать расположение Индры, –
(Сделайте ему) воды легкими для переправы – для блеска!
ता नो॒ वाज॑वती॒रिष॑ आ॒शून्पि॑पृत॒मर्व॑तः । इन्द्र॑म॒ग्निं च॒ वोळ्ह॑वे ॥
ता । नः॒ । वाज॑ऽवतीः । इषः॑ । आ॒शून् । पि॒पृ॒त॒म् । अर्व॑तः । इन्द्र॑म् । अ॒ग्निम् । च॒ । वोळ्ह॑वे ॥
हे इन्द्राग्नी ता तौ युवां वाजवतीः अन्नवतीः इषः इष्यमाणा वृष्टीः । यद्वा । वाजो बलम् । तद्वतीरिषोऽन्नानि आशून् शीघ्रगान् अर्वतः अश्वांश्च नः अस्मभ्यं पिपृतं पूरयतम् । प्रयच्छतम् । किमर्थम् । इन्द्रमग्निं च युवां वोळ्हवे वोढुं हविर्भिः प्रापयितुम् ॥
“May those two grant us strengthening food, and swift horses to convey (our offerings).”
Give us fleet coursers to convey Indra and Agni, and bestow
Abundant strengthening food on us.
You two, deliver to us refreshments accompanied by prizes, and deliver (to safety) swift steeds
to convey Indra and Agni.
So schenket labereichen Trunk, und schenket schnelle Rosse uns, Zu fahren, Indra-Agni, euch.
Gebet uns in Fülle wertvolle Speisen, rasche Rosse, um Indra und Agni zu fahren!
Вы двое даруете нам жертвенные услады,
Сопровождаемые наградами, быстрых скакунов,

हे इन्द्राग्नी उभा उभौ संहत्य वर्तमानौ वां युवां हुवे आह्वयामि । किमर्थम् । आहुवध्यै आभिमुख्येन होतुम् । तथा उभा उभौ युवामाह्वये राधसः राधसा राधकेन हविषा सह युगपदेव मादयध्यै मादयितुं तर्पयितुम् । सर्वेषु देवेषु सत्सु आवयोराह्वाने किं कारणमिति चेदुच्यते । उभा उभौ तौ युवाम् इषाम् अन्नानां रयीणां धनानां च दातारौ स्थः । अतः कारणात् उभा उभौ वां युवां वाजस्य अन्नस्य सातये संभजनाय हुवे आह्वये ॥
“I invoke you both, Indra and Agni, to be present at the sacrifice; and both together to be exhilarated by the (sacrificial) food; for you are both donors of food and riches, and therefore I invoke you both for the obtaining of sustenance.”
Indra and Agni, I will call you hither and make you joyful with the gifts I offer.
Ye Twain are givers both of food and riches: to win me strength and vigour I invoke you.
Ye twain shall be summoned, O Indra and Agni.
Ye twain shall rejoice together in the offering.
You both givers of food and riches,
You both I summon for the winning of strength.
You both, Indra and Agni, are to be called upon; both together are to invigorate yourselves on bounty.
You both are givers of refreshments, of riches; you both do I call upon to win the victory prize.
Euch beide, o Indra-Agni, will ich herbeirufen, euch beide zugleich mit Gaben ergötzen, euch beide, die ihr Labetränke und Schätze gebt, lade ich ein, euch beide zum Empfang der Opferspeise.

हे इन्द्राग्नी गव्येभिः गोसमूहै: अश्व्यैः अश्वसमूहै: वसव्यैः वसुसमूहैश्च सार्धं नः अस्मानाभिमुख्येन उप आ गच्छतम् । शेषः परोक्षकृतः । सखायौ समानख्यानौ देवौ दानादिगुणयुक्तौ शंभुवा शंभुवौ सुखस्य भावयितारौ ता तादृशौ इन्द्राग्नी सख्याय सखित्वार्थं वयं हवामहे आह्वयामहे ॥
“Come to us with herds of cattle, with troops of horses, with ample treasures, divine friends, Indra and Agni; givers of happiness, we invoke you as such for your friendship.”
Come unto us with riches, come with wealth in horses and in kine.
Indra and Agni, we invoke you both, the Gods, as Friends for friendship, bringing bliss.
Come here close to us with bovine and equine goods.
The two partners, the two gods who are luck itself, Indra and Agni, do we call on for partnership.

हे इन्द्राग्नी सुन्वतः सोमाभिषवं कुर्वतः यजमानस्य हवम् आह्वानं स्तोत्रं शृणुतम् । श्रुत्वा च तदीयानि हव्यानि हवींषि वीतं कामयेथाम् । कामयित्वा च आ गतम् आगच्छतम् । आगत्य च सोम्यं सोमात्मकं मधु पिबतम् ॥ ॥ २९ ॥
“Hear, Indra and Agni, the instrumental tutor of the rite as he offers the libation; partake of the offering; come, quaff the sweet Soma.”
Indra and Agni, hear his call who worships. with libations poured.
Come and enjoy the offerings, drink the sweetly-flavoured Soma juice.
O Indra and Agni, hear the call of the sacrificer who presses (soma). Pursue his oblations: come here, drink the somian honey.
