ऋषिवसिष्ठः
देवताअग्निः
मन्त्र7
छन्दद्विपदा त्रिष्टुप्
अग्ने॒ भव॑ सुष॒मिधा॒ समि॑द्ध उ॒त ब॒र्हिरु॑र्वि॒या वि स्तृ॑णीताम् ॥
अग्ने॑ । भव॑ । सु॒ऽस॒मिधा॑ । सम्ऽइ॑द्धः । उ॒त । ब॒र्हिः । उ॒र्वि॒या । वि । स्तृ॒णी॒ता॒म् ॥
हे अग्ने सुषमिधा शोभनया समिधा समिद्धः भव सम्यग्दीप्तो भव। उत अपि च 'बर्हिः उर्विया विस्तीर्णम् उपस्तृणीतामध्वर्युः ॥
“Be kindled, Agni, with suitable fuel; let the (priest) strew the plural ntiful sacred grass.”
AGNI, be kindled well with proper fuel, and let the grass be scattered wide about thee.
Agni, be kindled by our good kindling and let the ritual grass become spread widely.
Mit gutem Brennholz, Agni sei entzündet und weithin sei der Göttersitz gebreitet;
Agni! Werde mit gutem Brennholz entzündet und das Barhis soll weithin gebreitet werden.
О Агни, пусть будешь ты зажжен прекрасным зажиганием,
И солома пусть будет широко расстелена!
उ॒त द्वार॑ उश॒तीर्वि श्र॑यन्तामु॒त दे॒वाँ उ॑श॒त आ व॑हे॒ह ॥
उ॒त । द्वारः॑ । उ॒श॒तीः । वि । श्र॒य॒न्ता॒म् । उ॒त । दे॒वान् । उ॒श॒तः । आ । व॒ह॒ । इ॒ह ॥
उत अपि च उशतीः देवान् कामयमानाः द्वारः यज्ञगृहस्य देव्यो वा। तथा च यास्कः -- 'द्वारो जवतेर्वा द्रवतेर्वा वारयतेर्वा' (निरु. ८. ९) इति। वि श्रयन्ताम् । उत अपि च उशतः यज्ञं कामयमानान् देवान् इह यज्ञे आ वह ॥
“Let the willing doors and the chamber of sacrifice be thrown open; bring hither the willing gods.”
Let the impatient Portals be thrown open bring thou the Gods impatient to come hither.
And let the eager doors gape open, and, (o Agni), convey the eager gods here to this place.
Und willig mögen sich die Thore öffnen, und fahre uns die Götter willig herwärts.
Und die Tore sollen verlangend sich auftun, und fahre du die verlangenden Götter hierher!
И согласные врата пусть растворятся,
И богов согласных привези сюда!
अग्ने॑ वी॒हि ह॒विषा॒ यक्षि॑ दे॒वान्त्स्व॑ध्व॒रा कृ॑णुहि जातवेदः ॥
अग्ने॑ । वी॒हि । ह॒विषा॑ । यक्षि॑ । दे॒वान् । सु॒ऽअ॒ध्व॒रा । कृ॒णु॒हि॒ । जा॒त॒ऽवे॒दः॒ ॥
हे जातवेदः जातधन अग्ने वीहि देवानभिगच्छ। हविषा देवान् यक्षि यज च। स्वध्वरा स्वध्वरान् शोभनयज्ञांश्च कृणुहि कुरु ॥
“Agni Jātavedas, repair to the gods, worship them with the oblation, render them plural ased by thesacrifice.”
Taste, Agni: serve the Gods with our oblation. Offer good sacrifices, Jatavedas!
Agni, pursue them with the offering, sacrifice to the gods. Make the rites good, Jātavedas.
O Agni, komm mit Opfer, ehr die Götter, erwünschte Feier wirk, o Wesenkenner.
Agni, bitte die Götter her und verehre sie mit der Opfergabe. Versieh den Gottesdienst gut, o Jatavedas!
О Агни, приглашай возлиянием богов (и) почитай (их)!
Создай прекрасные обряды, о Джатаведас!
स्व॒ध्व॒रा क॑रति जा॒तवे॑दा॒ यक्ष॑द्दे॒वाँ अ॒मृता॑न्पि॒प्रय॑च्च ॥
सु॒ऽअ॒ध्व॒रा । क॒र॒ति॒ । जा॒तऽवे॑दाः । यक्ष॑त् । दे॒वान् । अ॒मृता॑न् । पि॒प्रय॑त् । च॒ ॥
जातवेदाः जातधनोऽग्निः अमृतान् मरणरहितान् देवान् स्वध्वरा स्वध्वरान् शोभनयज्ञान् करति करोतु यक्षत् हविषा यजतु च । पिप्रयत् स्तोत्रैः प्रीणयतु च ॥
“May Jātavedas render the immortal gods, plural ased by the sacrifice; let him sacrifice (to them), andgratify them (with praise).”
Let Jatavedas pay fair sacrifices, worship andgratify the Gods Immortal.
Jātavedas will make the rites good. He will sacrifice to the gods, and he will please the immortals.
Erwünschte Feier wirk der Wesenkenner, die ew'gen Götter ehr er und erfreu sie.
Jatavedas möge den Gottesdienst gut versehen; er verehre die unsterblichen Götter und stelle sie zufrieden.
Пусть создаст прекрасные обряды Джатаведас,
Пусть почтит он богов бессмертных и обрадует!
वं᳓स्व वि᳓श्वा वा᳓रियाणि प्रचेतः
सत्या᳓ भवन्तु आशि᳓षो नो अद्य᳓
हे प्रचेतः प्रकृष्टमतिमन्नग्ने विश्वा विश्वानि वार्याणि वरणीयानि धनानि वंस्व अस्मभ्यं देहि । नः अस्माकम् आशिषः अद्य सत्याः यथार्थाः भवन्तु ॥
Wise God, win for us things that are all-goodly, and let the prayers, we pray today be fruitful.
Win all desirable rewards, o attentive one, and let our hopes come true today.
Uns schenke alle Güter, o du weiser, erfüllet seien heut uns alle Wünsche.
Erwirke alle wünschenswerten Dinge du Kluger; unsere Wünsche sollen heute erfüllt werden!
Добудь все лучшие дары, о прозорливец!
Да сбудутся сегодня наши желания!
तुवा᳓म् उ ते᳓ दधिरे हव्यवा᳓हं
देवा᳓सो अग्न ऊर्ज᳓ आ᳓ न᳓पातम्
हे अग्ने ऊर्जः बलस्य नपातं पुत्रम् । सूनुर्नपात्' इत्यपत्यनामसु पाठात् । त्वामु त्वामैव ते प्रसिद्धाः देवासः देवाः हव्यवाहं हविषो वोढारम् आ दधिरे । अकुर्वन्नित्यर्थः ॥
Thee, even thee, the Son of Strength, O Agni, those Gods have made the bearer of oblations.
And, o Agni, the gods have established you here as the conveyor of oblations, as the child of nourishment.
Dich machten sie zu ihrem Opferfahrer, die Götter, Agni, und zum Sohn der Stärke.
Dich haben die Götter zum Opferfahrer gemacht, o Agni, das Kind aus der Kraft.
Это тебя они определили перевозчиком жертв,

ते ते॑ दे॒वाय॒ दाश॑तः स्याम म॒हो नो॒ रत्ना॒ वि द॑ध इया॒नः ॥
ते । ते॒ । दे॒वाय॑ । दाश॑तः । स्या॒म॒ । म॒हः । नः॒ । रत्ना॑ । वि । द॒धः॒ । इ॒या॒नः ॥
हे अग्ने देवाय द्योतमानाय ते तुभ्यं ते प्रसिद्धा वसिष्ठा वयं दाशतः हवींषि ददतः स्याम भवेम । अतः महः महांस्त्वम् इयानः उपगम्यमानो याच्यमानो वा नः अस्मभ्यं रत्ना रत्नानि रमणीयानि धनानि वि दधः विधत्स्व ॥ ॥ २३ ॥ ॥ १ ॥
“May we be the presenters (of offerings) to you who are divine; and you, the mighty one, being solicited,bestow upon us treasures.”
To thee the God may we perform our worship: do thou, besought, grant us abundant riches.
We would be those serving you, the god. Being beseeched, you will grandly distribute treasures to us.
Wir seien treue Diener dir, dem Gotte, uns schenke reichlich Schätze, du erflehter.
Wir wollen dir, dem Gott, freigebige Spender sein; teil uns große Belohnungen aus, darum gebeten!
Да будем мы почитателями у тебя, бога!
Раздай нам громадные сокровища, когда тебя просят!
