इन्द्रं॒ नरो॑ ने॒मधि॑ता हवन्ते॒ यत्पार्या॑ यु॒नज॑ते॒ धिय॒स्ताः । शूरो॒ नृषा॑ता॒ शव॑सश्चका॒न आ गोम॑ति व्र॒जे भ॑जा॒ त्वं न॑: ॥
इन्द्र॑म् । नरः॑ । ने॒मऽधि॑ता । ह॒व॒न्ते॒ । यत् । पार्याः॑ । यु॒नज॑ते । धियः॑ । ताः । शूरः॑ । नृऽसा॑ता । शव॑सः । च॒का॒नः । आ । गोम॑ति । व्र॒जे । भ॒ज॒ । त्वम् । नः॒ ॥

“Men invoke Indra in battle when those actions which lead to victory are performed; do you who arehero, the benefactor of man, the desirer of prowess, plural ce us in possession of pastures abounding with cattle.”
MEN call on Indra in the armed encounter that he may make the hymns they sing decisive.
Hero, rejoicing in thy might, in combat give us a portion of the stall of cattle,
Indra men call in reverence
That he may cause their prayers to be accomplished;
Hero, men overpowering, delighting in strength,
Do thou confer upon us a stall full of kine.
Indra do men call upon when facing the other side,
so that he will hitch up these insights (of theirs) (to be) decisive.
As champion at the winning of men, taking pleasure in your strength,
give us a share in the enclosure containing cattle.
Den Indra rufen im Gefecht die Männer, dass er erfolgreich diese Bitten mache; Der Held im Kampf, der sich der Stärke freuet, beschenke uns mit rinderreichem Stalle.
Den Indra rufen die Männer im Wettstreit, daß er diese ausschlaggebenden Lieder an seinen Wagen spanne. Der du als Held im Männerkampf die Übermacht begehrst, gib du uns Anteil an der erbeuteten Rinderhürde!
Индру мужи призывают в состязании,
Чтоб эти приносящие победу поэтические мысли он запряг (в свою колесницу).
Герой, любящий превосходящую силу в борьбе мужей,
Надели ты нас долей в загоне с коровами!
य इ॑न्द्र॒ शुष्मो॑ मघवन्ते॒ अस्ति॒ शिक्षा॒ सखि॑भ्यः पुरुहूत॒ नृभ्य॑: । त्वं हि दृ॒ळ्हा म॑घव॒न्विचे॑ता॒ अपा॑ वृधि॒ परि॑वृतं॒ न राध॑: ॥
यः । इ॒न्द्र॒ । शुष्मः॑ । म॒घ॒ऽव॒न् । ते॒ । अस्ति॑ । शिक्ष॑ । सखि॑ऽभ्यः । पु॒रु॒ऽहू॒त॒ । नृऽभ्यः॑ । त्वम् । हि । दृ॒ळ्हा । म॒घ॒ऽव॒न् । विऽचे॑ताः । अप॑ । वृ॒धि॒ । परि॑ऽवृतम् । न । राधः॑ ॥
हे पुरुहूत बहुभिराहूत इन्द्र ते तव यः शुष्मः बलम् अस्ति तं शुष्मं सखिभ्यः स्तोतृभ्यः नृभ्यः शिक्ष देहि । अपि च हे मघवन् हि यस्मात् दृळ्हा दृढानि । पुरां द्वाराणि बिभेदिथेति शेषः । तस्मात् सः त्वं विचेताः विविक्तप्रज्ञः सन् परिवृतं तिरोहितं राधः धनम् अप वृधि अस्मभ्यमपवृणु । न इति संप्रत्यर्थे ।
“Indra, who are the invoked of many, give to those men who are your friends that strength which,Maghavan, is thine; you, Maghavan (has forced open) the firm (shut, gates of cities); discover, discrimiantor (oftruth), the treasure now concealed.”
Grant, Indra Maghavan, invoked of many, to these my friends the strength which thou possessest.
Thou, Maghavan, hast rent strong places open: unclose for us, Wise God, thy hidden bounty.
The unbridled power that is yours, bounteous Indra, (with it) do your best for your comrades, your men, o much invoked one.
Because as one who can tell things apart you (take) apart the fastnesses, o bounteous one, (now) uncover largesse like something confined.
Mit aller Kraft, die dein ist, mächt'ger Indra, gerühmter, hilf den Männern, deinen Freunden; Erschliesse denn, o mächtiger, die Festen, o weiser, und den eingeschlossnen Reichthum.
Was dein Ungestüm ist, gabenreicher Indra, den suche den Genossen, du Vielgerufener, den Herren begreiflich zu machen! Du, der Kluge, entdecktest ja die verschlossenen Schätze, o Gabenreicher. Erschließe die Gabe wie etwas Verschlossenes!
(Та) стремительность, что есть у тебя, о щедрый,
Передай (ее) товарищам, о многолризываемьгё, мужам!
Ты ведь, о щедрый, обнаруживатель прочно замкнутых (сокровищ).
Отомкни дар, словно замкнутое!
इन्द्रो॒ राजा॒ जग॑तश्चर्षणी॒नामधि॒ क्षमि॒ विषु॑रूपं॒ यदस्ति॑ । ततो॑ ददाति दा॒शुषे॒ वसू॑नि॒ चोद॒द्राध॒ उप॑स्तुतश्चिद॒र्वाक् ॥
इन्द्रः॑ । राजा॑ । जग॑तः । च॒र्ष॒णी॒नाम् । अधि॑ । क्षमि॑ । विषु॑ऽरूपम् । यत् । अस्ति॑ । ततः॑ । द॒दा॒ति॒ । दा॒शुषे॑ । वसू॑नि । चोद॑त् । राधः॑ । उप॑ऽस्तुतः । चि॒त् । अ॒र्वाक् ॥
सः इन्द्रः जगतः जङ्गमस्य पश्वादेर्यतः राजा ईश्वरो भवति चर्षणीनां मनुष्याणां च राजा भवति अधि क्षमि क्षमायां विषुरूपं नानारूपं यत् धनम् अस्ति तस्यापि राजा भवति ततः दाशुषे यजमानाय वसूनि धनानि ददाति । स इन्द्रोऽस्माभिः उपस्तुतः एव सन् राधः धनम् अर्वाक् अस्मदभिमुखं चोदत् प्रेरयतु ॥
“Indra is lord of the earth and of men; (his is) the various wealth that exists upon the earth; thence hegives riches to the donor (of oblations); may he, glorified by us, bestow upon us wealth.”
King of the living world, of men, is Indra, of all in varied form that earth containeth.
Thence to the worshipper he giveth riches: may he enrich us also when we laud him.
Indra is king of the moving world, of the settled domains, (and of) whatever of diverse form exists on the earth.
From this he gives goods to the pious man; he impels largesse nearby, just when he is praised.
Der Menschen, des Lebend'gen Fürst ist Indra, des vielgestalt'gen auf der Erde Boden; Von dort her schenke Güter er dem Frommen und schaffe Reichthum her, der hochgelobte.
Indra ist König über die Welt, über die Völker, über das Mannigfaltige, das auf Erden ist. Davon schenkt er dem Opfernden Güter. Er sporne, zumal da er gepriesen ward, die Freigebigkeit nach unserer Seite an.
Индра – царь живого мира, (царь) народов,
(Всего) разнообразного, что есть на земле.
Оттуда дает он блага почитателю (своему).
Восхваленный же, пусть он подгонит щедрость в нашу сторону!
नू चि॑न्न॒ इन्द्रो॑ म॒घवा॒ सहू॑ती दा॒नो वाजं॒ नि य॑मते न ऊ॒ती । अनू॑ना॒ यस्य॒ दक्षि॑णा पी॒पाय॑ वा॒मं नृभ्यो॑ अ॒भिवी॑ता॒ सखि॑भ्यः ॥
नु । चि॒त् । नः॒ । इन्द्रः॑ । म॒घऽवा॑ । सऽहू॑ती । दा॒नः । वाज॑म् । नि । य॒म॒ते॒ । नः॒ । ऊ॒ती । अनू॑ना । यस्य॑ । दक्षि॑णा । पी॒पाय॑ । वा॒मम् । नृऽभ्यः॑ । अ॒भिऽवी॑ता । सखि॑ऽभ्यः ॥
मघवा धनवान् दानः ददानः सः इन्द्रः नः अस्माकं सहूती सहूत्या मरुद्भिः सहाह्वानेन वाजम् अन्नं नः अस्मभ्यं ऊती ऊत्यै रक्षायै नू चित् क्षिप्रमेव नि यमते प्रयच्छतु । यस्य इन्द्रस्य अनूना संपूर्णा अभिवीता अभिप्राप्ता दक्षिणा दानं सखिभ्यः स्तोतृभ्यः नृभ्यः वामं वननीयं धनं पीपाय दोग्धि ॥
“May the affluent and liberal, Indra, upon being invoked together (with the Maruts), quickly bestow foodfor our reservation, he whose unlimited, experienced liberality yields desirable (wealth) to those men (who arehis) friends.”
Maghavan Indra, when we all invoke him, bountiful ever sendeth strength to aid us:
Whose perfect guerdon, never failing, bringeth wealth to the men, to friends the thing they covet.
Never does bounteous Indra, because of (another) call coincident with ours, hold back from giving spoils along with help to us,
he whose unfailing gift-cow swells, a thing of value for his men, his
comrades, she who was (previously) enclosed.
Stets schenket Indra bei vereintem Anruf, der reiche Spender, Labung zum Genuss uns, Er, dessen Milchkuh unablässig zuströmt den Männern Gut, Begehrtes den Genossen.
Nimmer wird uns der freigebige Indra wegen gleichzeitiger Anrufung den Lohn der Gabe vorenthalten, aus Wohlwollen für uns, dessen mangellose Schenkung von gutem überfließt, den Herren, den Genossen willkommen.
И никогда уж щедрый Индра из-за совместного призыва (других)
Не удержит дара награды – ради нашей поддержки,
(Тот,) чья совершенная отплата переполнена добром,
Желанная для мужей, для товарищей.
नू इ॑न्द्र रा॒ये वरि॑वस्कृधी न॒ आ ते॒ मनो॑ ववृत्याम म॒घाय॑ । गोम॒दश्वा॑व॒द्रथ॑व॒द्व्यन्तो॑ यू॒यं पा॑त स्व॒स्तिभि॒: सदा॑ नः ॥
नु । इ॒न्द्र॒ । रा॒ये । वरि॑वः । कृ॒धि॒ । नः॒ । आ । ते॒ । मनः॑ । व॒वृ॒त्या॒म॒ । म॒घाय॑ । गोऽम॑त् । अश्व॑ऽवत् । रथ॑ऽवत् । व्यन्तः॑ । यू॒यम् । पा॒त॒ । स्व॒स्तिऽभिः॑ । सदा॑ । नः॒ ॥
हे इन्द्र नः अस्मभ्यं राये धनप्राप्तये नु क्षिप्रं वरिवः धनम् । वेदो वरिवः' इति धननामसु पाठात् । त्वं कृधि देहि । वयं ते तव मनः मघाय मंहनीयाय स्तुत्या आ ववृत्याम आवर्तयाम । स्पष्टमन्यत् ॥ ॥ ११ ॥
“Indra, grant quickly wealh for our enricment; may we attract your favour by our adoration; granting us(riches), comprising cattle and horses and chariots; do you ever cherish us with blessings.”
Quick, Indra, give us room and way to riches, and let us bring thy mind to grant us treasures,
That we may win us cars and Steeds and cattle. Preserve us evermore, ye Gods, with blessings.
Now, Indra, make wide space for our wealth. May we turn your mind here for bounty,
as we pursue (wealth) in cows, horses, and chariots. – Do you protect us always with your blessings.
Nun, Indra, schaff uns freie Bahn zum Reichthum; zur Spende mögen deinen Sinn wir wenden, Erlangend viele Rinder, Rosse, Wagen; ihr Götter, schützt uns stets mit eurem Segen.
Nun bahne uns den Weg zum Reichtum, Indra! Wir möchten deinen Sinn zum Geben wenden, die wir nach Rinder-, Roß-, und Wagenbesitz trachten.- Behütet ihr uns immerdar mit eurem Segen!
Так создай же нам Индра, широкий путь к богатству!
Мы хотим обратить твою мысль к дарению,
Стремясь к владению коровами, конями, колесницами!
Защищайте вы нас всегда (своими) милостями!
