छन्दत्रिष्टुप्
शं न॑ इन्द्रा॒ग्नी भ॑वता॒मवो॑भि॒: शं न॒ इन्द्रा॒वरु॑णा रा॒तह॑व्या । शमिन्द्रा॒सोमा॑ सुवि॒ताय॒ शं योः शं न॒ इन्द्रा॑पू॒षणा॒ वाज॑सातौ ॥
शम् । नः॒ । इ॒न्द्रा॒ग्नी इति॑ । भ॒व॒ता॒म् । अवः॑ऽभिः । शम् । नः॒ । इन्द्रा॒वरु॑णा । रा॒तऽह॑व्या । शम् । इन्द्रा॒सोमा॑ । सु॒वि॒ताय॑ । शम् । योः । शम् । नः॒ । इन्द्रा॑पू॒षणा । वाज॑ऽसातौ ॥
नः अस्माकमस्मभ्यं वा इन्द्राग्नी अवोभिः रक्षणैः शं शान्त्यै भवताम्। रातहव्या रातहव्यौ यजमानैर्दत्तहविष्कौ इन्द्रावरुणा इन्द्रावरुणावपि नः अस्मभ्यं शं शान्त्यै भवताम् । इन्द्रासोमा इन्द्रासोमावपि नः शं शान्त्यै सुविताय कल्याणाय च भवताम् । शं शान्त्यै सुखाय च। पुनरुक्तिरादरार्था। अथवा शं शमनहेतुकं सुखं योः विषययोगनिमित्तं सुखमित्यपुनरुक्तिः । इन्द्रापूषणा इन्द्रापूषणावपि वाजसातौ युद्धे अन्नलाभे निमित्ते वा नः शं शान्त्यै भवतामित्यर्थः ॥
“May Indra and Agni be (with us) with their protections for our hapiness; may Indra and Varuṇa, to whomoblations are offered, (be with us) for our happiness; may Indra and Soma be (with us) for our happiness, ourprosperity, our good; may Indra and Pūṣan be (with us) in battle for our triumph.”
BEFRIEND us with their aids Indra and Agni, Indra and Varuna who receive oblations!
Indra and Soma give health, strength and comfort, Indra and Pusan be our help in battle.
Luck for us be Indra and Agni with their help; luck for us Indra and Varuṇa, on whom oblations are bestowed.
Luck Indra and Soma—luck and lifetime for good faring; luck for us Indra and Pūṣan at the winning of prizes.
Zum Heile sein mit Huld uns Indra, Agni, und die verehrten Varuna und Indra, Zu Heil und Wohl, zum Glücke Indra, Soma beim Opfermahl zum Heil uns Indra, Puschan.
Zum Glück sollen uns Indra und Agni mit ihren Gnaden sein, zum Glück uns Indra und Varuna, denen Opfer gespendet werden, zum Glück, zu Wohlergehen, Glück und Heil Indra und Soma, zum Glück uns Indra und Pusan bei dem Gewinnen der Belohnung.

नः अस्माकं शं शान्त्यै भगः देवः अस्तु भवतु । नः अस्माकं शमु शान्त्या एव शंसः नराशंसोऽस्तु भवतु । नः अस्माकं शं शान्त्यै पुरंधिः बहुधीरप्यस्तु । रायः धनान्यपि शमु शान्त्या एव सन्तु। नः अस्माकं सुयमस्य शोभनयमयुक्तस्य सत्यस्य शंसः वचनमपि शम् अस्तु । नः अस्माकं शं शान्त्यै पुरुजातः बहुप्रादुर्भावः अर्यमा देवोऽपि अस्तु ॥
“May Bhaga (promote) our happiness; may Śaṃsa be our happiness; may Purandhi be (with us for) ourhappiness; may riches be (a source of) happiness; may the benediction of the true and virtuous yield ushappiness; may the variously-manifested Aryaman be (with us) for our felicity.”
Auspicious Friends to us be Bhaga, Sathsa, auspicious be Purandhi aid all Riches;
The blessing of the true and well-conducted, and Aryaman in many forms apparent.
Luck for us Fortune, and luck for us be Laud. Luck for us Plenitude and luck be Riches.
Luck for us the Laud of what is real and easy to guide; luck for us be Aryaman, born many times.
Zum Heile sei uns Bhaga, sei uns Çansa, zum Heil die Güter und die Segensfülle, Zum Heil das Lob des wahren, leichtgelenkten; zum Heil uns Arjaman, der oft erneute.
Zum Glück soll uns Bhaga und zum Glück uns Samsa sein, zum Glück sollen uns Purandhi, zum Glück die Reichtümer sein; zum Glück uns das Wort der lenksamen Wahrheit, zum Glück soll uns Aryaman sein, der viele Nachkommen hat.

नः अस्माकं शं शान्त्यै धाता देवः अस्तु । नः अस्माकं शमु शान्त्या एव धर्ता पुण्यपापानां विधारयिता वरुणो देवोऽप्यस्तु । नः अस्माकं शं शान्त्यै उरूची विवर्तगमना पृथिव्यपि स्वधाभिः अन्नैः सहास्तु । बृहती महत्यौ रोदसी द्यावापृथिव्यावपि शं भवताम् । अद्रिः पर्वतोऽपि नः अस्माकं शं शान्त्यै भवतु । शं शान्त्यै नः अस्माकं देवानां सुहवानि सुष्टुतयः सन्तु भवन्तु ॥
“May the creator be to us for happiness; may the discriminator (between virtue and vice, Varuṇa) be(with us) for our happiness; may the wide earth (contribute) with sustenance to our happiness; may the vastheaven and earth be (to us for) happiness; may the mountains (yield) us happiness; may our pious invocations ofthe gods secure us happiness.”
Kind unto us he Maker and Sustainer, and the far-reaching Pair with God-like natures.
Auspicious unto us be Earth and Heaven, the Mountain, and the Gods' fair invocations.
Luck for us the Establisher and luck be the Upholder for us. Luck for us be the Wide-Spreading (Earth?) with her own powers.
Luck be the lofty World-Halves, luck for us the Stone; luck let the
easily called (names) of the gods be for us.
Zum Heil sei uns der Schöpfer und Erhalter, zum Heil durch eigne Kraft die beiden Weiten, Zum Heil die grossen Welten und der Fels uns, zum Heile uns der Götter kräft'ger Anruf.
Zum Glück soll uns der Schöpfer und zum Glück uns der Erhalter sein; zum Glück soll uns die ausgedehnte Erde mit ihren Urkräften sein, zum Glück die beiden hohen Rodasi, zum Glück uns der Stein, zum Glück sollen uns die Namen der Götter leicht zur rufen sein.
На счастье нам Установитель и на счастье нам пусть будет Поддерживатель!
На счастье нам пусть будет просторная (Земля) со (своими) обычаями!
На счастье Две высокие половины вселенной, на счастье нам камень!
На счастье пусть будут удачяые призывы богов!

ज्योतिरनीकः ज्योतिर्मुखः अग्निः नः अस्माकं शं शान्त्यै अस्तु भवतु । मित्रावरुणा मित्रावरुणावपि नः अस्माकं शं शान्त्यै भवताम् । अश्विना अश्विनावपि शं भवताम् । सुकृतां पुण्यकर्मणां पुरुषाणां सुकृतानि पुण्यकर्माण्यपि नः अस्माकं शं शान्त्यै सन्तु भवन्तु । इषिरः गमनशीलोऽपि वातः वायुरपि नः अस्माकं शं शान्त्यै अभि वातु ॥
“May Agni, whose countenance is light, be (with us) for our happiness; may Mitra and Varuṇa, may theAśvins be (present) for our felicity; may the virtuous be (promotive of) our happiness; may the restless wind blowfor our happiness.”
Favour us Agni with his face of splendour, and Varuva and Mitra and the Asvins.
Favour us noble actions of the pious, impetuous vita blow on us with favour.
Luck for us be Agni, whose face is light; luck for us Mitra and Varuṇa, the Aśvins luck.
Luck for us be the good deeds of the good doers; luck let the vigorous Wind blow to us.
Zum Heil uns Agni, dessen Antlitz leuchtet, zum Heil uns Mitra-Varuna, die Ritter, Zum Heile uns der frommen fromme Werke, Heil wehe uns der rasch bewegte Wind zu.
Zum Glück soll uns Agni sein, dessen Antlitz Licht ist, zum Glück uns Mitra und Varuna, zum Glück die Asvin. Zum Glück sollen uns die Guttaten der Guttäter sein, Glück soll uns der rasche Wind zuwehen.
На счастье нам пусть будет светоликий Агни,
На счастье нам Митра-Варуна, Ашвины на счастье!
На счастье нам пусть будут благие дела творцов благих дел!
На счастье нам пусть веет освежающий Вата!
शं नो॒ द्यावा॑पृथि॒वी पू॒र्वहू॑तौ॒ शम॒न्तरि॑क्षं दृ॒शये॑ नो अस्तु । शं न॒ ओष॑धीर्व॒निनो॑ भवन्तु॒ शं नो॒ रज॑स॒स्पति॑रस्तु जि॒ष्णुः ॥
शम् । नः॒ । द्यावा॑पृथि॒वी इति॑ । पू॒र्वऽहू॑तौ । शम् । अ॒न्तरि॑क्षम् । दृ॒शये॑ । नः॒ । अ॒स्तु॒ । शम् । नः॒ । ओष॑धीः । व॒निनः॑ । भ॒व॒न्तु॒ । शम् । नः॒ । रज॑सः । पतिः॑ । अ॒स्तु॒ । जि॒ष्णुः ॥
नः अस्माकं शं शान्त्यै द्यावापृथिवी द्यावापृथिव्यौ पूर्वहूतौ प्रथमाह्वाने भवताम् । अन्तरिक्षम् अपि नः अस्माकं दृशये दर्शनाय शम् अस्तु । नः अस्माकं शं शान्त्यै ओषधीः ओषधयोऽपि भवन्तु। वनिनः वृक्षाश्च शं भवन्तु । जिष्णुः जयशीलः रजसः लोकस्य पतिः इन्द्रोऽपि नः अस्माकं शं शान्त्यै अस्तु ॥ ॥ २८ ॥
“May heaven and earth, the first invoked, (promote) our happiness; may the firmament be happiness toour view; may the herbs, the trees, (yield) us happiness; may the victorious lord of the world, (Indra), be(favourable to) our felicity.”
Early invoked, may Heaven and Earth be friendly, and Air's mid-region good for us to look on.
To us may Herbs and Forest-Trees be gracious, gracious the Lord Victorious of the region.
Luck for us Heaven and Earth at the Early Invocation; luck be the Midspace for us to see.
Luck for us be the plants, the trees; luck be the victorious lord of the dusky realm.
Zum Heile sein beim Frühruf Erd' und Himmel, zum Heile uns die Luft, damit wir sehen, Zum Heile sein die Kräuter uns und Bäume, zum Heile uns der Lüfte Herr, der Sieger.
Zum Glück sollen Himmel und Erde bei dem Frühanruf sein. Das Luftreich soll uns Glück sehen lassen. Zum Glück sollen uns Pflanzen und Bäume sein, zum Glück soll uns der siegreiche Herr des Luftraums sein.
На счастье нам Небо-и-Земля при утреннем призывании,
На счастье пусть будет воздушное пространство, чтобы мы видели!
На счастье нам пусть будут травы (и) лесные деревья!
На счастье пусть будет нам Господин пространства победоносный!

शम् । नः॒ । इन्द्रः॑ । वसु॑ऽभिः । दे॒वः । अ॒स्तु॒ । शम् । आ॑आ॒दि॒त्येभिः । वरु॑णः । सु॒ऽशंसः॑ । शम् । नः॒ । रु॒द्रः । रु॒द्रेभिः॑ । जला॑षः । शम् । नः॒ । त्वष्टा॑ । ग्नाभिः॑ । इ॒ह । शृ॒णो॒तु॒ ॥
देवः द्योतनादिगुणयुक्तः इन्द्रः वसुभिः देवैः सार्धं नः अस्माकं शं शान्त्यै भवतु । सुशंसः शोभनस्तुतिः वरुणः देवः आदित्येभिः आदित्यैर्देवैः सार्धं शं शान्त्यै अस्तु भवतु । जलाषः रुद्रः दुःखद्रावको देवः रुद्रेभिः रुद्रैः सार्धं शं शान्त्यै नः अस्माकं भवतु । इह यज्ञे त्वष्टा देवः ग्नाभिः देवपत्नीभिः सार्धं नः शं शान्त्यै भवतु । इह यज्ञे नः स्तोत्रं शृणोतु च ॥
“May the divine (Indra), with the Vasus, grant us happiness; may the justly-praised Varuṇa, with theĀdityas, be (friendly to) our happiness; may the grief-assuaging Rudra, with the Rudras, be (for) our happiness;may Tvaṣṭā, with the wives of the gods, be (with us) for our happiness, and hear us at this solemnity.”
Be the God Indra with the Vasus friendly, and, with Adityas, Varuna who blesseth.
Kind, with the Rudras, be the Healer Rudra, and, with the Dames, may Tvastar kindly listen.
Luck for us be god Indra along with the Vasus; luck Varuṇa of good laud along with the Ādityas;
luck for us healing Rudra along with the Rudras [=Maruts]; for luck let Tvaṣṭar along with the Wives hear us here.
Zum Heil sei uns Gott Indra mit den Vasu's, mit den Aditja's Varuna, der Segner, Zum Heil der milde Rudra mit den Rudra's; zum Heil erhör' uns Tvaschtar mit den Weibern.

На счастье пусть услышит нас тут Тваштар, вместе с божественными женами!

नः अस्माकं शं शान्त्यै सोमः भवतु । ब्रह्म स्तोत्रमपि नः अस्माकं शं शान्त्यै भवतु । ग्रावाणः अभिषवसाधनभूताः पाषाणा अपि नः अस्माकं शं शान्त्यै भवन्तु । यज्ञाः च नः शमु शान्त्या एव सन्तु। स्वरूणां यूपानां मितयः उन्मानान्यपि नः अस्माकं शं शान्त्यै भवन्तु । प्रस्वः ओषधयोऽपि नः अस्माकं शं शान्त्यै भवन्तु । वेदिः अपि नः शमु शान्त्या एव अस्तु ।
“May the Soma be (offered for) our happiness; may the prayer be (uttered for) our happiness; may thestones (grind the Soma), the sacrifice be (solemnized for) our happiness; may the measured lengths of thesacrificial posts be (conducive to) our felicity; may the sacred grass be (strewn) for our happiness; may the altarbe (raised for) our happiness.”
Blest unto us be Soma, and devotions, blest be the Sacrifice, the Stones for pressing.
Blest be the fixing of the sacred Pillars, blest be the tender Grass and blest the Altar.
Luck for us be Soma; the Sacred Formulation luck for us; luck for us be the Pressing Stones and luck the Sacrifices.
Luck for us be the Fixing of the Posts; luck for us be the Fruitful
(plants) and the Altar.
Zum Heile sei uns Soma, sei Gebet uns, zum Heile uns die Steine und die Opfer, Zum Heile uns der Opfersäulen Gründung, zum Heile uns die Gräser und der Altar.
Zum Glück soll uns Soma sein, zum Glück uns das Segenswort, zum Glück sollen uns die Preßsteine und zum Glück die Opfer sein. Zum Glück soll uns das Aufrichten der Pfosten sein, zum Glück sollen uns die Gräser und die Vedi sein.
На счастье пусть будет нам Сома, священные слова на счастье нам!
На счастье нам давильные камни, и на счастье пусть будут жертвы!
На счастье нам пусть будет водружение (жертвенных) столбов,
На счастье нам растения, и на счастье пусть будет алтарь!

शम् । नः॒ । सूर्यः॑ । उ॒रु॒ऽचक्षाः॑ । उत् । ए॒तु॒ । शम् । नः॒ । चत॑स्रः । प्र॒ऽदिशः॑ । भ॒व॒न्तु॒ । शम् । नः॒ । पर्व॑ताः । ध्रु॒वयः॑ । भ॒व॒न्तु॒ । शम् । नः॒ । सिन्ध॑वः । शम् । ऊँ॒ इति॑ । स॒न्तु॒ । आपः॑ ॥
नः अस्माकं शं शान्त्यै सूर्यः उरुचक्षाः विस्तीर्णतेजाः सन् उदेतु उदयं प्राप्नोतु । चतस्रः प्रदिशः महादिशोऽपि नः अस्माकं शं शान्त्यै भवन्तु । नः अस्माकं शं शान्त्यै पर्वताः ध्रुवयः ध्रुवाः भवन्तु। नः अस्माकं शं शान्त्यै सिन्धवः नद्योऽपि भवन्तु । आपः च नः शमु शान्त्या एव सन्तु ॥
“May the wide-seeing sun rise (for) our happines; may the four quarters of the horizon (exist for) ourfelicity; may the firm-set mountains be (for) our happiness; may the rivers, may the waters, be (diffused) for ourhappiness.”
May the far-seeing Sun rise up to bless us: be the four Quarters of the sky auspicious.
Auspicious be the firmly-seated Mountains, auspicious be the Rivers and the Waters.
For luck for us let the Sun of broad gaze go up; luck for us be the four Directions.
Luck for us be the steadfast Mountains. Luck for us the Rivers and
luck be the Waters.
Zum Heil geh auf die Sonne weithin schauend, zum Heil sei Ost und West und Nord und Süd uns; Zum Heile seien uns die festen Berge, zum Heil die Flüsse und zum Heil die Wasser.
Zum Glück soll uns die weitschauende Sonne aufgehen, zum Glück sollen uns die vier Weltgegenden sein. Zum Glück sollen uns die feststehenden Berge sein, zum Glück uns die Ströme und zum Glück die Gewässer sein.
На счастье нам пусть взойдет Сурья, видящий далеко!
На счастье нам пусть будут четыре стороны света!
На счастье нам пусть будут крепкие горы!
На счастье нам реки, и на счастье пусть будут воды!

अदितिः देवी व्रतेभिः व्रतैः कर्मभिः सार्धं नः अस्माकं शं शान्त्यै भवतु । स्वर्काः शोभनस्तुतयः मरुतः अपि नः अस्माकं शं शान्त्यै सन्तु। विष्णुः व्यापकः नः अस्माकं शं शान्त्या अस्तु । पूषा देवोऽपि नः अस्माकं शमु शान्त्या एव अस्तु । भवित्रं भुवनमन्तरिक्षमुदकं वा नः अस्माकं शं शान्त्या अस्तु । वायुः अपि नः शमु शान्त्या एव अस्तु ।
“May Aditi, with holy observances, be (for) our happiness; may the glorified Maruts be (friendly to) ourfelicity; may Viṣṇu, may Pūṣan, be (promoters of) our happiness; may the firmament be propitious to us; mayVāyu (blow for) our happiness.”
May Adid through holy works be gracioas, and may the Maruts, loud in song, be friendly.
May Visnu give felicity, and Pusan, the Air that cherisheth our life, and Vayu.
Luck for us be Aditi with her commandments; luck for us be the Maruts of good chant.
Luck for us Viṣṇu and luck be Pūṣan; luck for us (the means of)
Creation and luck be the Wind.
Durch ihr Gesetz sei Aditi uns heilvoll, zum Heile uns die glanzbegabten Maruts; Zum Heile sei uns Vischnu, sei uns Puschan, zum Heil die Welt, zum Heile auch der Wind uns.

“May the divine preserving Savitā be (radiant for) our happiness; may the opening dawns (break for)our happiness; may Parjanya be (the granter of happiness) to our posterity; may Śambhu, the lord of strength,be (the conferrer of) happiness upon us.”
Prosper us Savitar, the God who rescues, and let the radiant Mornings be propitious.
Auspicious to all creatures be Parjanya, auspicious be the field's benign Protector.
Luck for us god Savitar who gives protection; luck for us be the widely radiant Dawns.
Luck be Parjanya for us and for our offspring; luck for us be the Lord of the Dwelling Place, who is Luck itself.
Zum Heil sei uns Gott Savitar, der Schützer, zum Heile uns die hellen Morgenröthen; Zum Heile sei Pardschanja unsern Kindern, zum Heile uns der Feldbeschirmer heilvoll.

“May the divine universal gods be (favourable) to our felicity; may Sarasvatī, with holy rites, behappiness; may those who assist at sacrifices, those who are liberal of gifts. Be (conducive to) our happiness;may celestial, terrestrial and aquatic things be (subservient to) our happiness.”
May all the fellowship of Gods befriend us, Sarasvati, with Holy Thoughts, be gracious.
Friendly be they, the Liberal Ones who seek us, yea, those who dwell in heaven, on earth, in waters.
Luck for us be the Gods, the All Gods; luck be Sarasvatī along with her insights.
Luck the Escorts and luck the Gift-Escorts; luck for us the Heavenly ones, the Earthly ones, luck for us the Watery ones.
Uns sein zum Heil der Götterallheit Götter, Sarasvati mit Göttinnen der Andacht, Zum Heil die Spender und die Spenderinnen im Himmel und auf Erden und in Wassern.
Zum Glück sollen uns die Götter, die Allgötter sein, zum Glück Sarasvati mit den frommen Gedanken; zum Glück die Begleiterinnen und die mit Gaben Kommenden, zum Glück uns die im Wasser wohnenden Götter.

“May the lords of truth be (propitious to) our happiness; may horses, may cattle, (contribute to) ourhappiness; may the virtuous, the dexterous Ṛbhus, be to us (for) felicity; may the progenitors be (promoters of)our happiness at the seasons of worship.”
May the great Lords of Truth protect and aid us: blest to us be our horses and our cattle.
Kind be the pious skilful-handed Rbhus, kind be the Fathers at our invocations.
Luck for us be the masters of the real; luck for us the steeds, and luck be the cows.
Luck for us the R̥bhus of good action and good hands; luck for us be the Fathers at the invocations.
Zum Heile seien uns die Herrn der Wahrheit, zum Heile uns die Rosse und die Rinder, Zum Heil die Ribhu's, die geschickten Künstler, zum Heil die Ahnen uns bei den Gebeten.
Zum Glück sollen uns die Herren der Wahrheit sein, zum Glück sollen uns die Rennpferde und zum Glück die Rinder sein; zum Glück die Ribhu´s, die gute Werke mit guter Hand verrichten, zum Glück sollen uns die Väter bei den Anrufungen sein.

“May the divine Aja-Ekapād be (favourable to) our happiness; may Ahirbudhnya, may the firmament, be(promotive of) our happiness; may the grandson of the waters, the protector, be (the securer of) our felicity; mayPṛśni, of whom the gods are the guardians, be to us (a granter of) happiness.”
May Aja-Ekapad, the God, be gracious, gracious the Dragon of the Deep, and Ocean.
Gracious be he the swelling Child of Waters, gracious be Prsni who hath Gods to guard her.
Luck for us be god Aja Ekapad; luck for us Ahi Budhnya [/Serpent of the Deep], luck the Sea.

Zum Glück soll uns der einfüßige Ungeborene Gott sein, zum Glück uns der Drache der Tiefe, zum Glück das Meer. Zum Glück sei uns Apam Napat, der Befruchter der Wasser, zum Glück soll uns Prisni, die gottbehütete, sein!

नवीयः नवतरमस्माभिः क्रियमाणम् इदं ब्रह्म स्तोत्रम् आदित्याः दिव्याः। ‘अदितिर्द्यौः ' (ऋ. सं. १. ८९. १०) इति श्रुतेः । रुद्राः आन्तरिक्षाः वसवः पार्थिवाश्च जुषन्त जुषन्तां सेवन्ताम् । अन्ये दिव्याः दिवि भवाः पार्थिवासः पार्थिवाः गोजाताः गोः पृश्नेर्जाताः । ‘नाको गौः' इति साधारणनामसु पाठात् । उत अपि च ये यज्ञियासः यज्ञार्हास्ते सर्वेऽपि नः अस्माकं हवं शृण्वन्तु ॥
“May the Ādiyas, the Rudras, the Vasus, be gratified by this new and now repeated praise; maycelestial and terrestrial (beings), the progeny of the cow, (Pṛśni), and those who were entitled to worship, hearour (invocations).”
So may the Rudras, Vasus, and Adityas accept the new hymn which we now are making.
May all the Holy Ones of earth and heaven, and the Cow's offipring hear our invocation.
The Ādityas, the Rudras, the Vasus enjoy this sacred formulation being made here anew.
Let them hear us—the Heavenly ones, the Earthly ones, the Cow-Born ones, and those who are worthy of the sacrifice.
Aditja's, Rudra's und die Vasu's mögen dies neugemachte Andachtslied geniessen, Erhören uns die Luft-gebornen Götter und die im Himmel und auf Erden wohnen.
Die Aditya´s, Rudra´s, Vasu´s sollen an diesem neusten getanen Segen Gefallen haben. Es sollen uns die himmlischen, die irdischen, die kuhgeborenen und die opferwürdigen Götter erhören.

यज्ञियानां यजनीयानां देवानाम् अपि यज्ञियाः यजनीयाः मनोः प्रजापतेश्च यजत्राः यजनीयाः अमृताः मरणरहिताः ऋतज्ञाः सत्यज्ञाः ये देवाः सन्ति ते सर्वे उरुगायं बहुकीर्तिं पुत्रम् अद्य नः अस्मभ्यं रासन्तां प्रयच्छन्तु । सिद्ध एवोत्तमः पादः ॥ ॥ ३० ॥
“May those who are the most adorable divinities, those who were the adored of Manu, those who areimmortal, the observers of truth, bestow upon us this day (a son), of wide-spread renown; and do you evercherish us with blessings.”
They who of Holy Gods are very holy, Immortal, knowing Law, whom man must worship,-
May these to-day give us broad paths to travel. Preserve us evermore, ye Gods, with blessings.
Those who are the sacrificial ones of the sacrificial gods, the occasion of sacrifice for Manu, immortal, knowing the truth,
let them grant us wide-ranging space today. – Do you protect us always with your blessings.
Die unter den ehrwürdigen Göttern ehrwürdig sind, die von dem Menschen zu verehrenden unsterblichen, des heiligen Rechtes kundigen; die mögen uns heute unbeschränkte Sicherheit gewähren; ihr Götter, schützt uns stets mit eurem Segen.
Die unter den opferwürdigen Göttern Opferwürdigen, für Manu Opferwerten, die Unsterblichen, die des Rechten Kundigen, die mögen uns heute Freiheit gewähren.-Behütet ihr uns immerdar mit eurem Segen.

Заслуживают почитания у Ману, бессмертные, знающие закон.
