छन्दत्रिष्टुप्
आ॒दि॒त्याना॒मव॑सा॒ नूत॑नेन सक्षी॒महि॒ शर्म॑णा॒ शंत॑मेन । अ॒ना॒गा॒स्त्वे अ॑दिति॒त्वे तु॒रास॑ इ॒मं य॒ज्ञं द॑धतु॒ श्रोष॑माणाः ॥
आ॒दि॒त्याना॑म् । अव॑सा । नूत॑नेन । स॒क्षी॒महि॑ । शर्म॑णा । शम्ऽत॑मेन । अ॒ना॒गाःऽत्वे । अ॒दि॒ति॒ऽत्वे । तु॒रासः॑ । इ॒मम् । य॒ज्ञम् । द॒ध॒तु॒ । श्रोष॑माणाः ॥
आदित्यानाम् अदितेः पुत्राणामेतत्संज्ञकानां देवानाम् अवसा रक्षणेन । तद्धेतुभूतेनेत्यर्थः । नूतनेन अद्यतनेन शंतमेन । शं सुखम्। अतिशयेन तत्करणेन शर्मणा । शर्मेति गृहनामैतत् । गृहेण सक्षीमहि वयं संगच्छेमहि । तुरासः तुरास्त्वरिता आदित्याः श्रोषमाणाः अस्मदीयानि स्तोत्राणि शृण्वन्तः यज्ञं यष्टारम् इमं जनम् अनागास्त्वे अनपराधत्वे च अदितित्वे अदीनत्वे च दधतु स्थापयन्तु ॥
“May we, through the protection of the Ādityas, be in the enjoyment of a new and comfortable dwelling;may the swift-moving Ādityas, listening to our praises, preserve this their worshipper in sinlessness andindependence.”
THROUGH the Adityas' most auspicious shelter, through their most recent succour may we conquer.
May they, the Mighty, giving ear, establish this sacrifice, to make us free and sinless.
We would be accompanied by the present help of the Ādityas and by their most luck-bringing protection. Let the overpowering ones establish this sacrifice in guiltlessness and in offenselessness (adititvá), listening (to us).
Wir möchten theilhaft sein der neusten Hülfe, des segensreichsten Schutzes der Aditja's, Erhörend mögen dieses Opfer segnen Sicherheit und ew'gem Heil die starken.
Wir möchten der neuesten Gnade der Aditya´s, ihres wohltätigsten Schutzes teilhaft werden. Die Oberherren sollen diesem Opfer zur Sündlosigkeit, zur Schuldlosigkeit verhelfen, uns erhörend.

आ॒दि॒त्यासः॑ । अदि॑तिः । मा॒द॒य॒न्ता॒म् । मि॒त्रः । अ॒र्य॒मा । वरु॑णः । रजि॑ष्ठाः । अ॒स्माक॑म् । स॒न्तु॒ । भुव॑नस्य । गो॒पाः । पिब॑न्तु । सोम॑म् । अव॑से । नः॒ । अ॒द्य ॥
आदित्यासः आदित्या देवाः अदितिः तेषां माता च । यद्वा अदितिरिति देवविशेषणम् । अदितिरदितयोऽदीनाः । रजिष्ठाः अतिशयेनर्जवः मित्रो अर्यमा वरूणः चैतत्संज्ञकाः मादयन्तां तृप्ताः सन्तु । भुवनस्य सर्वस्य जगतः गोपाः रक्षका एवंभूता देवाः अस्माकं सन्तु । अस्माकमेव रक्षका भवन्त्वित्यर्थः । अद्य अस्मिन् दिने नः अस्माकम् अवसे रक्षणाय सोमम् अस्माभिरभिषुतं पिबन्तु ॥
“May the Ādityas and Aditi, and the upright Mitra, Āryaman, and Varuṇa, be exhilarated (by thelibation); may the guardians of the world be ours also; may they drink the Soma today for our preservation.”
Let Aditi rejoice and the Adityas, Varuna, Mitra, Aryaman, most righteous.
May they, the Guardians of the world, protect us, and, to show favour, drink this day our Soma.
Let the Ādityas and Aditi find exhilaration, let Mitra, Aryaman, and Varuṇa, who are the most straightforward.
Let the herdsmen of the living world be ours. Let them drink the soma to help us today.
Berauscht euch mit der Aditi, Aditja's, Arjaman, Mitra, Varuna, ihr höchsten; Es mögen unser sein der Welt Behüter und Soma trinken heute uns zur Freude.
Die Aditya´s, die Aditi sollen sich ergötzen, Mitra, Aryaman, Varuna, die redlichsten. Die Hüter der Welt sollen uns gehören; sie sollen heute Soma trinken uns zur Gnade.

Митра, Арьяман, Варуна, самые прямые!
Пусть хранители вселенной принадлежат нам!

आदित्याः अदितेः पुत्राः विश्वे सर्वे द्वादशसंख्याका अर्काः विश्वे मरुतश्च सर्व एकोनपञ्चाशत्संख्योपेताश्च विश्वे देवाश्च विश्वे ऋभवश्च इन्द्रः अग्निः अश्विना अश्विनावेतत्संज्ञका एवंभूता ये देवाः तुष्टुवानाः अस्माभिः स्तुता बभूवुः सर्वे ते देवाः यूयं सदा सर्वदा नः अस्मान् स्वस्तिभिः कल्याणैः पात रक्षत ॥ ॥ १८ ॥
“All the Ādityas, all the Maruts, all the gods, all the Ṛbhus, Indra, Agni, and the Aśvins, (have been)glorified (by us), do you all ever cherish us with blessings.”
All Universal Deities, the Maruts, all the Adityas, yea, and all the Rbhus,
Indra, and Agni, and the Asvins, lauded. Preserve us evermore, ye Gods, with blessings.
All the Ādityas, and all the Maruts, and the All Gods, and all the R̥bhus, Indra, Agni, and the two Aśvins, (all) being praised. – Do you protect us always with your blessings.
Die Marut's alle, die Aditja's alle, die Götter alle und die Ribhu's alle Und Indra, Agni, die gepriesnen Ritter, ihr Götter, schützt uns stets mit eurem Segen.
Alle Aditya´s und alle Marut und alle Götter und alle Ribhu´s, Indra, Agni, die Asvin´s sind geprießen.-Behütet uns immerdar mit eurem Segen!
Все Адитьи и все Маруты,
И все боги, и все Рибху,
Индра, Агни, Ашвины, восхваленные (нами),
Защищайте вы нас всегда своими милостями!
