तर॒त्स म॒न्दी धा॑वति॒ धारा॑ सु॒तस्यान्ध॑सः । तर॒त्स म॒न्दी धा॑वति ॥
तर॑त् । सः । म॒न्दी । धा॒व॒ति॒ । धारा॑ । सु॒तस्य॑ । अन्ध॑सः । तर॑त् । सः । म॒न्दी । धा॒व॒ति॒ ॥
मन्दी देवानां हर्षकरः सः सोमः तरत् स्तोतॄन् पाप्मनः सकाशात् तारयन् धावति पवते । तदेव दर्शयति । सुतस्य अभिषुतस्य अन्धसः देवानामन्नात्मकस्य सोमस्य धारा धावतीति । पुनरपि तदेवाह अत्यन्तादरार्थं तरत्स मन्दी धावति इति । यद्वा । अस्या ऋचो यास्केनोक्तोऽर्थो द्रष्टव्यः । तद्यथा-‘तरति स पापं सर्वं मन्दी यः स्तौति धावति गच्छत्यूर्ध्वाँ गतिम् । धारा सुतस्यान्धसो धारयाभिषुतस्य सोमस्य मन्त्रपूतस्य वाचा स्तुतस्य ' (निरु. १३.६ ) इति ॥
“He the delighted (of the gods) flows rescuing (his worshippers from sin); the stream of the effused beverage (flows); he the delighted (of the gods) flows rescuing (his worshippers from sin).”
SWIFT runs this giver of delight, even the stream of flowing juice:
Swift runs this giver of delight.
In crossing, the invigorating one runs, the stream of the pressed stalk. – In crossing, the invigorating one runs.

वसूनां धनानाम् उस्रा उत्सरणशीला प्रदात्री देवी द्योतमाना स्तूयमाना वा यस्य सोमस्य धारा मर्तस्य मनुष्यं यजमानम् अवसः रक्षितुं वेद जानाति । सिद्धमन्यत् ॥
“The brilliant (stream), the bestower of riches, knows how to protect the worshipper; he the delighted (of the gods) flows rescuing (his worshippers from sin).”
The Morning knows all precious things, the Goddess knows her grace to man:
Swift runs this giver of delight.
The ruddy goddess knows of the goods, of the help of the mortal. – In crossing, the invigorating one runs.

Die Göttin Morgenröthe kennt die Schätze und des Sterblichen Labung.
Die Göttin Usas kennt die Schätze, die Gunst des Sterblichen. - Er gelange über das Wasser, der Berauschende läuft ab.
ध्व॒स्रयो॑: पुरु॒षन्त्यो॒रा स॒हस्रा॑णि दद्महे । तर॒त्स म॒न्दी धा॑वति ॥
ध्व॒स्रयोः॑ । पु॒रु॒ऽसन्त्योः॑ । आ । स॒हस्रा॑णि । द॒द्म॒हे॒ । तर॑त् । सः । म॒न्दी । धा॒व॒ति॒ ॥
ध्वस्रयोः पुरुषन्त्योः । ध्वस्रः कश्चिद्राजा पुरुषन्तिः कश्चित् । तयोरुभयोः । अत्र इतरेतरयोगविवक्षया द्विवचनं द्रष्टव्यम् । सहस्राणि धनानां सहस्राणि आ दद्महे वयं प्रतिगृह्णीमः । तदस्माभिः प्रतिगृहीतं धनमुत्तममस्त्विति ऋषिः सोमं प्रार्थयत इति सोमस्य स्तुतिः । सिद्धमन्यत् । यथावत्सार एतयोर्धनानि प्रतिजग्राह एवं तरन्तपुरुमीळ्हौ प्रतिजगृहतुः । तथा च शाट्यायनकम्--- ‘ अथ ह वै तरन्त पुरुमीळ्हौ वैददश्वी ध्वस्रयोः पुरुषन्त्योर्बहु प्रतिगृह्य गरगिराविव मेनाते तौ ह स्माङ्गुल्या सातं प्रतिममृशाते तावकामयेतामसातं नाविवेदं सातं स्यादात्तमिवैव न प्रतिगृहीतमिति तावेतञ्चतुर्ऋचमपश्यतां तेन प्रत्यैतां ततो वै तयोरसातं सातमभवदात्तमिवैव न प्रतिगृहीतं स यः प्रतिगृह्य कामयेत' इत्यादि ॥
“We have received thousands from Dhvasra and Puruṣanti; he the delighted (of the gods) flows rescuing (his worshippers from sin).”
We have accepted thousands from Dhvasra's and Purusanti's hands:
Swift runs this giver of delight.
At (the hands of) Dhvasra and Puruṣanti we take thousands.
– In crossing, the invigorating one runs.

Von den beiden, Dhvasra und Puruschanti haben wir tausende empfangen.

आ ययो॑स्त्रिं॒शतं॒ तना॑ स॒हस्रा॑णि च॒ दद्म॑हे । तर॒त्स म॒न्दी धा॑वति ॥

ययोः ध्वस्रपुरुषन्त्योः त्रिंशतं त्रिशतानि सहस्राणि तना वस्त्राणि आ दद्महे वयं प्रतिगृह्णीमः तयोरस्माभिः प्रतिगृहीतं तत्सर्वमप्रतिगृहीतमस्त्विति सोमऋषिः प्रार्थयत इति सोमस्यैव स्तुतिः । सिद्धमन्यत् ॥ ॥ १५ ॥
“We have received from those two three hundred thousand garments; he the delighted (of the gods) flows rescuing (his worshippers from sin).”
From whom we have accepted thus thousands and three times ten beside:
Swift runs this giver of delight.
At (the hands of) those two we take thirty and thousands in extent. – In crossing, the invigorating one runs.
